Located south of Lake Issyk-Kul (at an elevation of 1,800m), the food here might be hard to get used to, but the scenery is absolutely stunning. Furthermore, Seven Bulls Valley/Rock (at an elevation of 2,100m) features unique mountain landscapes that are also well worth exploring. I recommend staying in this area for seven days, and you can charter a car for the middle five days to take excursions around the lake and mountain regions.
