#spas Staying at Lincombe Hall Hotel & Spa in Torquay was a luxurious and relaxing experience! The adults-only hotel is nestled on a hill, offering peaceful views and just a 10-minute walk from the beautiful Torquay Harbour. The rooms were modern and comfy, but the highlight for me was the spa. For £15 a day, you can access the thermal suite, which includes a sauna, steam room, and hydrotherapy pool—absolutely perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The hotel is also close to the Agatha Christie Mile and the South West Coast Path, which are perfect for leisurely strolls. The breakfast included was fantastic, with a mix of continental and full English options. I spent my days exploring the coast and my evenings enjoying the peacefulness of the spa. I went to Torquay for a few days on the train picked up the ticket from trips.com you can find some really good advance train ticket deals. Mine cost me only £31 return took about four hours from BRIGHTON when I arrive there check hotel the grand hotel booked it from here £80 a night I think all facilities available swimming pool hot pool really nice bar located in the centre of Torquay walk distance to the beach where you can hire, water sports equipment at a reasonable price restaurants bars or nearby definitely worth checking out Torquay Devon I’ll definitely be going back there again#mytravelhacks

I traveled from Torquay for an overnight stay prior to an early morning flight to Spain to visit family. Typically, I would drive up around 1 a.m., but my partner suggested staying at the Holiday Inn we always see on the way. I booked a room and paid upon arrival—service was fantastic right from the start. Yes, it was a bit pricey for one night, but the convenience of extra sleep and being only five minutes from the airport versus an hour and 45 minutes away was well worth it! Though I felt nervous staying alone initially, it turned out I didn't need to be. I enjoyed an amazing curry the evening before my flight, and the service was fabulous—staff were all very friendly. The hotel was clean, the room was beautiful and super comfortable, and I was even upgraded for free via email, which was an incredible touch. Thank you so much! Since I fly to Spain often to visit my mum and always depart from Bristol, I’ll definitely consider this Holiday Inn if it's affordable. In fact, I've already booked my stay for my September trip. I stayed in room 227 on May 28th—thanks again! Jess

Pamper Time @The Belgrave Sands Hotel&Spa

Just the most magical place. Quite pricey, but after visiting I think it was worth the entry fee. Be aware to check when evening light tour is on - currently it’s only on Fridays (we travelled home on Friday morning)

Loved the stay at the Grand Hotel Torquay just opposite the beach and a short walk from the Torquay Marina and beach promenade.The weather was not kind with plenty of rain on the 3rd of Feb yet the area is beautiful and well worth a 2 day visit.The food at the Grand is good and the view is spectacular especially at night .I will stay there again maybe just before Christmas 2026.
