Tozeur Governorate travel guide and discussion

One month after half a year of exchange, the last stop of our trip was Morocco. This was my first time setting foot in Africa. I searched online for itineraries, and many people said that a three-day and two-night tour is necessary to go to the Sahara Desert, because the drive takes up most of the day, but we didn’t have enough time, so we could only go for two days and one night, but my friend and I thought it was okay. Although we didn't go into the deep part of the Sahara Desert, we were able to ride camels to watch the sunrise and sunset, and see the starry sky at night. After that, we stayed in a tent in the desert. I felt happy enough. #TheMostStylishTravelExperience #ScenicScenicPhotographyGuide #TravelInspiration #KolCheck-inHotspot #SaharaDesert #Morocco #OverseasTravel

Sunbathing in Tozeur ☀️, this niche and lazy North African journey Tozeur in Tunisia is truly a magical oasis town. My favorite spot is the Eden Palm Museum hidden deep within the date palm grove (8:00-23:00). Two tall palm trees quietly guard this cream-colored Western-style building. On sunny days, sunlight filters through the leaves, creating dappled shadows as beautiful as a movie scene 🎬 🌟Real Experience Tips: ・The exhibition content is indeed limited, mainly a simple introduction to the history of date palm cultivation ・Unexpectedly, the courtyard tea house is perfect for zoning out! Order a special date tea and chat with locals for a very pleasant time ・The souvenir shop has a limited selection, but the date honey and handmade soap are worth taking home (remember to bargain!) 📸Photo Tips: 1. The light is softest from 9-11 AM; standing by the palm trees to shoot the building gives a strong North African vibe 2. Wearing white or red clothes will make your photos stand out more 3. The second-floor terrace offers a spectacular panoramic view of the entire date palm grove ⚠️Useful Information: 📍Address: Medina, Tozeur, Tunisia 🚗Transportation: Taxi is recommended (about a 20-minute walk from the old town) 🍴Nearby Food: The tea house inside the museum sells fresh date desserts, and in the old town, Dar Sidi Boudhieb offers authentic Tunisian traditional set meals Step into the heart of Tozeur’s oasis and surrender your time to the sunshine and date palms~

Tozeur Tozeur (Latin: Thusuros, also known as Jarid). Oasis in central-western Tunisia. Located south of the Tunisian prairie region, it boasts beautiful scenery with many salt flats and palm groves. Situated on the isthmus between the al-Jarid and al-Gharsah salt flats, it is known as the "Gateway to the Desert." It was an important ancient Numidian town, located on the trade route from Vescra to Qabis. The area is famous for its mirages created by the shimmering mineral salts from the hot air and salt flats. Two high-quality varieties of dates produced in the region have been major export commodities since the 11th century. It also produces hand-woven carpets and silver jewelry. An international airport provides convenience for tourists. Locals consider the nearby Naftah to be a sacred oasis. A visit to Tozeur must include a look at the Star Wars filming location. It is one of the places that most resembles an alien planet. Luke Skywalker's home is still preserved in Tozeur, serving as the set for Mos Espa, and the scene has been largely kept intact. Tataouine Tataouine Province, Tunisia is a town in Tunisia that inspired George Lucas to name his fictional desert planet Tatooine. Star Wars: The Force Awakens (released in mainland China on January 9, 2016). This should be a pilgrimage site for every Star Wars fan. Deep in the Tunisian desert, the scenes from the first three Star Wars movies are still preserved. Any Star Wars fan would quickly recognize these surreal photos as the scenes of Tatooine, the place where the protagonist of this sci-fi blockbuster, Luke Skywalker, grew up.

🔛 Continuing the Tunisia trip Citywalk The Town of Dates - Tozeur, is the largest oasis city on the edge of the Sahara Desert, I've been to three oases before, and they were all very beautiful. The ancient city's buildings are made of beige bricks, which are made by burning date palm branches into ash, adding it to clay, and firing it again. The ancient city in the streets has a sense of time travel, and in some ways, it's quite similar to the ancient city of Kashgar in Xinjiang. · The ancient city's market atmosphere is not overly commercial, there are just some local, everyday life scenes. Walking through the narrow, sun-drenched alleys to the ancient city, · ooking up, the trees that looked like coconut trees are actually date palms. Young teenagers wearing slippers riding motorcycles, pass by us, with curiosity in their eyes; I don't know where a group of local children came from, · aughing and surrounding me, I quickly called my friends to help me take a photo, the strange Chinese face is also a curiosity to them, but they are not afraid, they chatted with us in English for a few sentences, and even tried to invite the boys among us to play football, laughing so happily. · 🕌 The ancient city is not particularly large, there's no special strategy, we passed by the mosque, visited the local craft market, bought some characteristic bags and fridge magnets, as well as dates all of which you can haggle over the price a bit, the artworks hanging in the alleyways, with a touch of local artistic flavor, I really like this small city, slow and gentle.

🚗Continue self-driving from Kairouan, next stop: Sahara Desert. As the city of rest before we enter the hinterland of the desert, Tozeur has the title of "Desert Gateway" and is also the oasis city of Tunisia. In the vast desert of yellow sand, the fertile soil is so abundant with water and grass, it's really rare. 🌴Here you can not only feel the roughness and desolation of the desert, but also the spectacular scenery of the oasis. This is the location of the "Star Wars" shooting, and also the best place for sweet dates. The small city is covered with a date palm forest of 1,000 hectares. For many years, people have been irrigating this land with underground spring water, maintaining the fragile ecological balance of this oasis. 🏔️On the mountains in the desert around the city of Tozeur, there are also several scenic spots with unique "mountaintop oases", with Chebika, Tamerza, and Mides oases being the most famous, and we went to two of them. 1️⃣Chebika is the first mountaintop oasis to arrive. Climbing to the top of the mountain along the trail behind the mountain, you can overlook the source of the entire oasis, and you can also overlook the entire cityscape of Tozeur. Following the downhill trail, listening to the gurgling spring water surging in the depths of the valley, watching the small waterfall formed between the cliffs, nourishing this land, it is a paradise in the yellow earth. 2️⃣Tamerza Oasis, not far from Chebika, inside is the Mides Gorge, which is only one kilometer from the Algerian border. The natural combination of high mountain desert and oasis is spectacular and gorgeous. This was the location for the shooting of the film "The English Patient", which won nine awards at the 69th Oscars. This film, constructed by desert, airplane, map, war, mural and Hungarian ballad, is known as "soft as oil painting". Here, you can feel the romantic feelings in the desert spreading. 👫The temperature in Tozeur this season is just right, not cold or hot. There are stalls selling souvenirs and food in the scenic area. For the first time, I saw desert roses and amethyst raw stones, and for the first time I drank fresh juice squeezed from authentic Tunisian soft-seeded pomegranates. Sitting in the sun outdoors in front of low stone walls and rough houses, chatting with friends and newly met locals, is our way of communicating with the world, and it's an afternoon worth freezing in time.

Café Berbère is a traditional Tunisian café located in Tozeur, Tunisia. The interior is beautifully decorated in a truly traditional style, and the terrace offers a 360-degree panoramic view of downtown Tozeur! The owner is incredibly friendly, and since there are many fascinating traditional Tunisian items inside, they kindly explain everything to you. I highly recommend visiting if you go to Tozeur! 📍Café Berbère ⵜⴰⴱⴰⵔⵏⴻⵜ ⵜⴰⵎⴰⵣⵉⵖⵜ Av. de Kairouan, Tozeur 2200, Tunisie #OverseasTravel

Known as the world’s largest desert, Sahara is like nowhere else on earth 🤩 Experience the ultimate camel ride while camping under the starry African sky. This journey will feed your adventurous spirit 🐪

The scenery here is really a step by step, I was attracted by a few huge crystalline rocks. The locals call it "Desert Rose", the name is still quite appropriate, the clusters of rose crystals are shining under the sunlight, with crystal-like reflection. A few more steps forward, the scenery under the cliff shocked me, the rosy rock, with extremely beautiful curves and ghost carving texture. Look down at each of the rock walls and there are some narrow passages. If people walk in it, they should not be able to walk out of this natural labyrinth. I sat quietly on the edge of the cliff, and I was so small between heaven and earth.

We are going to visit the Chebika Oasis, the trench that once sunk on the bottom of the sea. In the natural migration of the years, it also carries coral fossils and exposes the ground in the form of hillsides. At the end of the road, a set of golden light is hidden in the lush coconut grove. Every turn, we can follow this light. It is like an elf, guiding us forward. The signs of life in this place are so active, only the golden sunshine is not enough. The soul of the oasis is the clear spring. The spring water in the desert is the mother of life, and the survival of generations depends on it. Walking down the golden rock, in the depths of the canyon, we smashed a green spring. She was as calm as a mirror, and there was naturally a date palm tree. If I touched it gently with my hand, I could still feel it. Warm temperature. The breezy meditation sits here, this is a natural gift to the desert.

As soon as I entered the ancient city of Tozeur, my sight never left the building on his street. Its style is very uniform, all the houses, sculptures and walls here are made up of small square bricks. These small bricks are the symbol and business card of the city. It was invented by a princess of the 14th century. It is rich in coconut ash and can be used locally. There is no other architectural style in the small town. These square bricks have changed in different forms, and the diamond-shaped rose-shaped round shape is hand-in-hand under the architect's skill. They are so simple and simple, yet creative. When you walk in such an ancient city, time seems to be stagnant. There is no trace of a modern city, and everything is as it is. Perhaps 50 years ago, people here were wearing traditional costumes, and in the harvest season of the date palms, the harvested fruits were tied together for selection. Today, there are still the voices of kicking and kicking on the roadside. Those who drive the brakes are rushing to collect their own carpets and straw hats.

The Hiberica oasis will really make people tired. Before thinking about it, its good to look at it. I dont know if the enemy is coming. I think about going down the trail to see the waterfall. I didn't expect to walk around and take the whole circle down. When entering the door, there will be many people around you telling you that he will take you around, climb to the top of the mountain, then take the path to the mountain. Behind, look at the waterfall to see the creek and come back how to basically laugh and refuse, because: 1 I think if the sister is not like me, I am wearing a short skirt and a pair of broken slippers. If you climb the mountain in more than 40 degrees of sunshine, you dont think you have to go around the mountain. You can go directly to the mountain to see the water, or you can look at the scenery in the nearest height. 2 If you want to walk the ring, you actually Its all about finding a way because there is only one way. European and American tourists are basically walking on their own, just keep up, no need to spend money to find someone to bring. But if you have a little brother with a rim, you can also spend 10 dinars, so someone will take pictures of you.

Also known as the "Sprite and Oasis", the Sebica Oasis, located at the foot of a mountain in the province of Tunisia, is an fascinating mountain oasis and the most popular mountain oasis in the world. The quiet and comfortable Tsubica Oasis is simply a rare desert collection, a touch of green glimpses into our eyes and shakes our nerves. It lies in the rolling mountains and is a wonderland in the wild mountains. The buildings in the town are made of clay. After being destroyed by the ruthless flood, it is now a deserted city. In such a desolate environment of the Gobi, with a red dress, you can stand out in the loess and dust, and become a bright color.

What is special about the Dameiheza Oasis is that it is the location of the 69th Oscar-winning film "British Patient". This film, made up of deserts, planes, maps, wars, murals and Hungarian songs, is hailed as "softness like oil painting". In this deserted cave, Emmaus took the scene of the dead Catherine, and reached the extreme point of the whole drama. The rock wall here, after weathering, presents a magnificent trace of the texture, which is similar to the beauty of the American Grand Canyon.

Tozeur, the desert oasis, the Grand Canyon, and the location of the British Patient. In this deserted cave, Emmaus took the scene of the dead Catherine, and the whole drama was sorrowful to the extreme.
