US Business Trip Accommodation - Homewood Suites by Hilton Detroit Troy
If you're going on a business trip to the Troy area, I recommend this place. There's a Walmart right next door, and it opens at 6 a.m., so it would be nice to go for a jog and then stop by Walmart to buy what you need. They also serve miso soup and kimchi for breakfast, so it would be a good choice for Koreans or Japanese people. It seems to have been recently remodeled. The hotel is old, but the bathrooms and other things were clean.

Mini Trip to #Detroit
📅 Itinerary
Day1: Got into Detroit kinda late, did try Culver’s for the first time. Culver’s is a buttered burger and frozen custard place. They gave great service and fresh tasting food.
Day2: Started the day at First Watch for some Brunch. Service was quick, friendly and atmosphere was cozy. We then went to Sommerset Mall. I had to stop at the Nordstrom eBar for a sparkling pomegranate lemonade. This mall is HUGE. And has literally all the stores one can think of. Dinner was less exciting as I had a craving for Taco Bell.
Day3: Started this day at City BBQ. We ordered the bama pulled chicken (moist as can be), fried chicken wings (the skin was so crispy) and half a rack of St. Louis ribs (I don’t eat pork but my friend devoured these and they were moist as well). Service was great and fast. Then we went to the Great Lake outlet mall, this place is algo HUGE with a lot of stores. Also seemed very kid friendly and clean. I got a few souvenirs from Gameday Detroit, they have all the sports attire and gave great service.
Day4: Started the day with Coffee from Lighthouse, the ladies working were super friendly and gave fast service. I got an iced Brown Sugar latte and it was perfect. This cafe is so cozy and quaint. Then we went to the Waldenberg Park to get out and get some fresh air. Then I was off to the Detroit Wayne Airport.
🏨 Accommodation : Wingate by Wyndham Roseville. This place is low to mid grade, I am cheap so this was in my price range. They do have a pool and a small workout area.

Holidays with family are always the best!
I am 5’2 and every single one of my sisters children are already taller than me and the youngest is 10! I can only imagine the height differences as they continue to grow!! #awesomepic
