One of my favorite places in Tyumen is Gilevskaya Roshcha Park. It's beautiful year-round 😍 It's the perfect place for a walk among the trees in the fresh air, as if you were in a well-kept forest. There are playgrounds and sports fields with easy exercise equipment, a tennis court, and you can rent a bike or a mini-car in the summer and skis in the winter. You can see rare plants and squirrels 🐿️ And bring some nuts from home to feed them. The park has access to the river, an observation deck, and free areas with gazebos, a barbecue, swings, and restrooms for the whole family to relax in. Gilevskaya Roshcha also has sculptures of various animals made from branches, pine cones, and stone. You can take lots of great photos. As the starting point of Siberia's development, Tumen boasts a rich heritage. I first visited the Tumen Kremlin, an ancient fortress that has witnessed centuries of Siberian history. Its red brick walls gleamed in the sunlight, and the air of history permeated both inside and outside the walls. Strolling through the Kremlin's square, I imagined caravans gathering here and explorers setting off on their journeys to the unknown East. The museum inside the Kremlin showcased Tumen's journey from a small village to the thriving city it is today, providing a deeper understanding of the city's history. After leaving the Kremlin, I strolled through Tumen's ancient city, taking in the city's charming blend of ancient and modern. Ancient wooden buildings juxtaposed against modern skyscrapers create a unique cityscape. I walked along Tumen's pedestrian street, both its commercial and cultural heart. The shops along the street are overflowing with Siberian specialties, such as fur products, wood carvings, and local handicrafts. I sat in a streetside cafe, sipping local specialty coffee and soaking up the relaxed and easygoing atmosphere of city life. The friendly smiles and warm greetings of the people made me feel as warm as if I were back home. Tumen boasts a rich cultural heritage. I visited the Tyumen Regional Museum, which houses a vast collection of exhibits on Tumen's history, culture, and art. I was captivated by the exquisite artifacts and precious historical relics on display, which tell me about Tumen's long history and rich culture. The museum building itself is a work of art, its exquisite decoration and elegant style are truly impressive. Besides the city's historical sites, the natural scenery surrounding Tumen truly captivated me. I took a rural excursion to the forests and lakes near Tumen. The Siberian forests are filled with pristine, wild beauty, with tall pine and birch trees lush and vibrant. I strolled along the forest trails, breathing in the fresh air and feeling the tranquility and beauty of nature. The forest air was crisp, infused with the fragrance of pine trees, and it soothed me. The lake near Tumen is a tranquil paradise. The clear waters reflected the blue sky and white clouds, and the swaying reeds by the lake created a beautiful scene. I sat by the lake, admiring the beautiful scenery and feeling the tranquility and beauty of nature. The water was so clear that I could see the sand and rocks at the bottom. Birds flew freely around the lake, creating a vibrant scene. Unexpected Discoveries: I stumbled upon hidden works of art throughout the city, such as graffiti and sculptures, which add to Tumen's artistic atmosphere. These works of art showcase the creativity and imagination of the Tumen people. My trip to Tumen gave me a whole new appreciation for the city. It's not just a city steeped in history, but also a vibrant city with a rich cultural heritage and stunning natural scenery.
