Starting the day from Beppu and heading towards Fukuoka, we enjoyed a leisurely pace with stops along the way. First stop in the morning was Tomonaga Bakery for freshly baked bread! Then, we tried the Jigoku Steamed Pudding at Okamotoya (honestly, I didn’t find it tasty 😌). For lunch, we had udon at Fudoan, which was so delicious that even an extra serving wasn’t enough! The red torii gates of Ukiha Inari Shrine stretch all the way up the mountain, making it a perfect spot for photos! After a quick stop at the Ukiha Rest Area, we visited Koinoki Shrine. But this is not Kyoto; it is Ukiha Inari Shrine in Ukiha City, Fukuoka Prefecture~ The torii gates ⛩️ here extend from the foot of the mountain all the way to the summit. From the top, you can overlook the entire Ukiha City, and a main road stretches down to the opposite mountain foot ⛰️, echoing the gates~ It can be called one of Japan's 🇯🇵 most spectacular sights. · 🔶: About Transportation From Fukuoka, you can take the Shinkansen 🚄 from Hakata Station to Kurume City, then transfer to the JR line to Ukiha Station, and walk 🚶 about 30 minutes to reach the shrine~ . 📷: About Photography 1️⃣: The shrine itself is not large; the most spectacular view is the path of red torii gates ⛩️ from the foot to the summit of the mountain~ 2️⃣: You can go to the end of the torii gates ⛩️ and take an aerial shot of the entire city and the gates~ very magnificent!!! 3️⃣: Then further up is the very small main hall~ 4️⃣: After shooting this, you can conveniently visit "Tanushimaru Station," a cute station 🚉 built based on the kappa (water sprite) design. · ⚠️tips: It takes about 15-20 minutes to hike from the foot to the summit. The restaurant is housed in a renovated traditional Japanese house nestled among rice paddies and fields, with ample parking. The tables are comfortably spaced at about 6, providing a comfortable atmosphere. Located in a slightly remote area rather than the town center, you’ll need a rental car, bicycle, or taxi to get there. 🏠 The exterior looks like a converted traditional Japanese home, and as you pass through the charming entrance, you’ll find a variety of seating options, including floor seating, bar tables, and terrace seats. They even have high chairs for babies, making it a convenient spot for families 👶. 📜 The menu is simple with just five options: Kake Udon, Kitsune Udon, Niku Udon, Yudame Udon, and Bukkake Udon. The tempura sets are especially popular! 🦐🍗 You can choose between the "Ukiha Set" (vegetable-focused) and the "Fudoan Set" (shrimp + chicken). I ordered the refreshing Bukkake Udon, Kitsune Udon with fish cake, and the Fudoan Tempura Set. The chewy texture of the udon noodles was absolutely amazing 🤤. From Hakata Station, you need to first take the bus to Kurume Station, then transfer to Chikugoyoshi Station and walk or take the bus to the place. The most famous attraction in Hokkehara Gardens is the 10-meter-tall, 60-year-old Minobu weeping cherry tree, which blooms in mid-March. The cherry blossoms are like a waterfall, and it is a charming sight to admire them under a red umbrella, whether it is day or night. During the day, the spring scenery of yellow rapeseed flowers, pink cherry blossoms, and blue sky is very pleasing to the eye; once night falls, the lights are turned on and a completely different scene is presented. This time, I went to visit Shiseido's factory in Ukiha, which is about an hour and a half by car from Fukuoka city on public roads! Shiseido factory tours are only held at three factories in the country! One of them is in Fukuoka! I think it's worth visiting when you're traveling to Fukuoka! The tour contents are -Explanation of the factory using project mapping -Inspection experience -Factory tour -Workshop (contents change depending on the month) The tour is divided into two parts per day, from 9:30 and 13:30, and each part is 120 minutes long! There is a lot to see, so the two hours go by in a flash ⚠️Factory tours are only available on weekdays! Reservations are required, and it is very popular, so reservations must be made 1-2 months in advance! The number of people is limited to 20 people per tour, so you can enjoy the factory tour at your own pace! The staff are very kind and take lots of photos! This may not be one of the many popular place with people therefore making this a photogenic spot on top of a hill down to the valley, but if you are someone who doesn't really like to climb you are also able to drive up by car. Most people come to this Shrine to hope and pray for a prosperous business, good health, and scholarship.

This hot spring inn is really an enjoyment that can not be experienced in Hong Kong😎 First of all, this package includes breakfast and dinner. I believe you must be full enough if you eat a lot! #WesternJapan I went to see the Minobu Weeping Cherry Blossoms in Ukiha, Fukuoka Prefecture, at night. As I got out of the car and walked from the parking lot, I was blown away by the spectacular illuminated cherry blossoms. They had just finished blooming, but the flurry of falling cherry blossoms was spectacular! Next time I'd like to go during the day.

Tsuzura Rice Terraces, selected as one of the 100 Best Rice Terraces in Japan by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, is a spectacular sight with 400-year-old stonework that still remains. The area is a whopping 7 hectares, and there are 300 rice paddies. Every September, about 500,000 red spider lilies bloom, so you might want to visit them instead of the rice terraces!
