Filming location for Lord of the Rings!!
If you are a fan of lord of the ring, then you must know the cover photo of this post! The Kaitoke Regional Park was the filming location for Rivendell and Fords of Isen in the movie.
Once here, I can understand totally why this place was picked as the filming location! The entire park looks just magical as though it is a real living place for elves. It is filled with ancient looking trees and home to many rare birds of the country.
The park also serves as a perfect place for hikers as there are well formed walking tracks and also it is a popular spot for families to do riverside picnic as well. Swimming is also possible in the river pools too.
Perfect for a day trip for family of all ages and getting here is just within a 45mins drive away from the Wellington City!

[NZ]🍃 A poet's garden enveloped in tranquility — Poets Park
#0YenTravel to New Zealand
Poets Park, located in downtown Wellington, is a small green space themed around poetry, as its name suggests.
While it's not a major tourist attraction,
it's a relaxing place that makes you want to stop by during your stroll.
The park is dotted with stone monuments inscribed with words by New Zealand's most famous poets and artwork, offering a relaxing space where you can sit on a bench and quietly contemplate the words.

excellent coffee
The coffee is always excellent, love Peoples beans. They also have a good range of cabinet food which often gets discounted at the end of the day. The service is usually pretty good. Coffee is one of the best coffees you can get this day in Wellington.
Always creamy and velvety milk foam on the cup, the coffee beans combination with milk is so gooooood as well. Toast sandwiches are lovely and their cheese scone also delicious. I think this is one of the better places to get your coffee
