The Marienplatz of Munich is in the centre of the city and it is one the most liveliest place in central Munich. It is a place where all the main streets meet and it is one where it is bustling with people and shops, cafes, etc. Marienplatz is a tourist attraction and it is a place where you must visit. The architecture around the place will take your breath away and it is full of culture and history. It shows you the way of life for the Germans in Munich and I love the energy at Marienplatz. If you're in Munich, Marienplatz is a place to drop by and soak in the atmosphere. #wecreate

#skitrip Svaroh in winter is a hidden gem for snowshoe enthusiasts! Starting from the Scheibensattel parking lot on the German side, I embarked on the beautiful 7.1km circular route to the summit . The trail winds through snow-laden forests and open ridges, with well-marked paths that make navigation easy even in deep snow . Snowshoes are absolutely essential here—the Czech side near Černé jezero (Black Lake) falls within a strictly protected zone where you must stay on marked trails . The climb is moderate but rewarding, gaining about 370 meters over roughly two hours . Along the way, I passed historic border markers from 1766 and the ruins of the former Juranek hut, remnants of history peeking through the snow . At the 1,333-meter summit, the views left me speechless—the Bavarian Forest unfolding in every direction, and on clear days, the distant Alps appearing on the horizon . Unlike busy resorts, I had this winter wonderland almost entirely to myself. Pure, silent, unforgettable! #Svaroh #WinterHiking #Snowshoeing #BohemianForest

#skitrip Mount Svaroh delivered one of the most unique ski touring adventures I've ever experienced! Straddling the Czech-German border in the beautiful Šumava mountains, this 1,334-meter peak offers something truly special—panoramic views stretching across both countries, with the Alps visible on clear days . The approach from the German side near Lohberg is much more convenient, with parking available at Scheibensattel and well-marked winter routes . I strapped on my touring skis and followed the border ridge, skinning up through pristine snow-covered forests. The silence was absolute—just the crunch of my skis and the whisper of wind. Unlike crowded Alpine resorts, Svaroh feels wonderfully remote and wild . Reaching the summit, I was rewarded with breathtaking 360° views over the Bohemian Forest. For ski tourers seeking solitude and unspoiled nature rather than lift-served convenience, Svaroh is pure magic! #Svaroh #Zwercheck #SkiTouring #SumavaMountains

A Medieval Jewel on the Danube, Where Time Stands Still I visited Regensburg, one of Germany's oldest cities. Having largely escaped the devastation of World War II, it's a living museum, with traces of the Roman era from 2,000 years ago to the Middle Ages still intact. 🏛️ A Scent of History and Culture Regensburg was once the political center of the Holy Roman Empire, and a city that amassed immense wealth through trade along the Danube. Strolling through its narrow streets feels like stepping back in time to the Middle Ages. The towering "Patrician Towers," built by nobles to flaunt their wealth, create a distinctive skyline. 📍 Must-See Attractions | Steinerbruecke (Stone Bridge) | Built in the 12th century, this is the oldest stone bridge in Germany. It's said that armies crossed this bridge during the Crusades. The view of the Old Town from the bridge is breathtaking. | | Regensburg Cathedral | The pinnacle of Bavarian Gothic style. Not only is its grand exterior impressive, but the interior, illuminated by medieval stained glass, exudes a reverent atmosphere. | | Historic Sausage Kitchen (Wurstkuchl) | Located right next to the Stone Bridge, this is **the world's oldest sausage house**. Enjoy charcoal-grilled Nuremberg sausages and homemade sauerkraut by the riverside. | | Porta Prattoria | These are the remains of a city gate built by the Roman legions in 179 AD. The sight of ancient Roman stone walls still embedded within the walls of modern buildings is truly impressive. | While Dresden showcases the splendid and magnificent "triumph of reconstruction," Regensburg embodies the "true Middle Ages," etched with the passage of time. Sitting on the banks of the Danube, sipping a cold beer and gazing at the 800-year-old Stone Bridge was one of the most relaxing moments of my trip. Highly recommended for those who want to escape the noise of the big city and experience the quiet charm of old Germany. 💡 Tip: While walking near Regensburg Cathedral, you might be lucky enough to hear the world-famous boys' choir, the Regensburg Domspatzen! #germany #europetravel #regensburg #regensburg #overseastravel #germanytravel

Vienna is absolutely lovely, but today it decided to drizzle, which made me feel right at home. After a quick Melange at a quiet corner café, I spent the afternoon ducking into two of the city's musical spots: Mozarthaus and the Haus der Musik. I grabbed the €26 combined ticket, which is a proper bargain if you plan to do both in one day. First up was Mozart’s old flat at Domgasse 5, tucked away down a narrow alleyway that felt wonderfully atmospheric. He lived on the first floor here during his most successful years. What I loved most weren't the grand portraits, but the tiny, human details. There’s a temporary exhibition on at the moment called 'Mozart at the Table'—as someone who spends her life around food and coffee, I was fascinated to see his dining habits and who he sat with. But my absolute favourite find was a small document tucked in a corner: his unsuccessful application to be the director of music at St. Stephen’s Cathedral. It’s strangely comforting to know that even a literal genius faced rejection. I stood by the window in his living room for a quiet minute, looking out at the exact same rooftops he would have stared at 200 years ago. It felt incredibly surreal. Afterwards, I wandered over to the Haus der Musik, which is housed in the historic building where Otto Nicolai founded the Vienna Philharmonic. The second floor has this brilliant, slightly quirky sound lab where you can listen to how a baby hears in the womb, or how elephants and bats perceive the world. I could have stayed there for hours just playing around with the interactive soundscapes. But the highlight has to be the virtual conductor on the top floor. You stand there with a baton and 'direct' the projection of the Vienna Philharmonic. I got completely overwhelmed, lost the rhythm entirely, and the orchestra actually stopped playing and gave me a collective look of sheer disappointment. I walked away feeling a bit sheepish, but it was incredibly fun. I'm heading out to find a quiet street-side tavern now for some comforting Austrian food. Vienna really does have a lovely, quiet magic if you take the time to notice the small things.
