Starting March 4th, 2026 ✈️ Flight from BKK-NRT, 11 PM to 8 AM (Thai Airways). 🌸 March 5th, 2026: Morning, go into the city to drop off luggage at the hostel. Yes, I stayed in a hostel because it's cheaper than a hotel when traveling alone. First day's sightseeing in Tokyo: - Senso-Ji Shrine: Walk in and out, take pictures, and visit the shrine. - Tokyo Skytree / Sumida River: Stunning, many cherry blossom trees blooming along the river, beautiful view. - DisneySea Weeknight Pass: Buy a ticket for the 5 PM entrance to get a cool vibe, take pictures, walk around, and then leave. - TAKEYA: Souvenirs, cheap and good stuff, this is the place to go. 🗼 March 6th, 2026: Second day's sightseeing: - Tokyo Disneyland: Only half a day in the morning because the main rides are under maintenance. Not bothered because I checked in, went for a walk, ate snacks - Tokyo Station: Saw Western architecture and walked around. Went during rush hour, so it was very crowded. - Tokyo Skytree: Just walked around and went up to see the night view, which was beautiful in its own way. - Ameyayokocho: A pedestrian street, I think? 5555 I don't know, it's near Ueno, very crowded, lots of food and shopping. 🗻 March 7th, 2026: Third day, bought a 1-Day Tour to Fuji. Great because I thought if I went alone I wouldn't be able to see everything and might get too lazy to go back before finishing. - Yamanaka Lake - Oshino - Hakkai (the clear water village with a million Thai people) - Oishi Park - Kawaguchi Lake - Lawson - Fuji Walking Park (the red pagoda on the mountain with a view of Fuji, woof woof) - Hikawa Clock. It was a very good bus tour, didn't stop at shops, just let me enjoy myself. No tips. In the evening after the trip: - Shinjuku: Walked around and saw the building with Godzilla. - Don Quijote: Lots of goods at very cheap prices. It's commonplace, but you might go bankrupt 🚃 March 8th, 2026. Fourth day of sightseeing: Kamakura area. Bought a One Day Pass for the Enoden train, unlimited rides, stopping at these highlight stations that people review: -6 Enoshima Station: Walk along the path, there's a delicious pudding and ice cream shop. -8 Kamakurakoko-Mae Station: The illuminated intersection is perfect for taking beautiful photos. -9 Shichigahama Station: This spot on the beach offers a stunning view of Mount Fuji. -12 Hase Station: The large Daibutsu Buddha statue, especially in the evening. -Meiji Shrine: Stroll around and see the shrine, very natural in the middle of the city. -Shibuya Crossing: A bustling intersection with lots of people. World Heritage site: -Shinkyo Bridge: The amazing red bridge. -Nikko-zan Rinno-Ji Temple: This one is located on a mountain, magnificent. Arrived just in time for the midday prayers - Nikko Toshogu Shrine is stunningly beautiful with its golden shrine and dogs, breathtaking! - Nikko Futarasan-Jinjya Shrine - Nikko-zan Rinno-Ji Taiyuin Masoleum, with its golden rabbit statue, a great spot. In the evening, returned to Tokyo - Don Quijote in Asakusa for souvenir shopping - Senso-Ji for an evening stroll. Started and ended here. 🇨🇳 March 10, 2026 ✈️ NRT-PVG-BKK Flight at 10 am, arriving at 2 pm. Chose a connecting flight to save money and allow for sightseeing (China Eastern). Day six sightseeing, connecting in Shanghai for about 10 hours - Lujiazui, strolling around the Pearl Tower - Disney Store - The Bund - Nanjing Road for a great walk - Longhua Temple. 🇹🇭 March 11, 2026 ✈️ PVG-BKK Arrived in Thailand early morning. Ate well, explored thoroughly, shopped moderately, and still stayed within budget. In summary, "You can enjoy a quality trip to Japan without breaking the bank." A room for four people costs only 32,500 yen, which averages to about $450 per person‼️ For Toy Story fans, this hotel is amazing! The entrance area is filled with photo spots 📸. Note that only hotel guests can access the hotel premises. Inside the hotel, there is a shop, a Lotso restaurant, and a convenience store. The shop offers exclusive items that can only be purchased at the hotel, and even the convenience store has plenty of Toy Story-themed products. The convenience store sells various bento boxes, rice balls, and other food items, so if you don't want to eat out, you can buy food there and enjoy it in your room. The rooms are modeled after Andy's room, featuring wooden floors that give a cozy home-like feel. The pajamas are stylish, and the slippers even have Andy's name printed on the soles. Once inside the room, you might feel like you've turned into a toy yourself 🤣. The room has two hidden beds—one can be pulled out from under the TV cabinet, and another can be pulled out near the window, making it perfectly suitable for four people. The Royal Park Hotel Maihama Resort Tokyo Bay is set to grand open on February 13, 2026, in Chiba. I stayed here during my visit to Disney. The moment I entered the hotel, I was struck by its bright and open atmosphere, which made me want to take photos immediately. Check-in was smooth with a machine-based system, and there were lockers available next to the front desk. I stayed in the Greek-themed room on the Standard Floor. The colors and interior design were charming, and the room was spacious enough to spread out my luggage comfortably. I appreciated having a microwave in the room and the separate bath and toilet. Amenities and rental items were available not only in the room but also in a self-service area, which was convenient and waste-free. The hotel also had a coin laundry and a Lawson convenience store. I tried the breakfast buffet at the restaurant, and the freshly made burgers were particularly delicious. Being a new hotel, everything was exceptionally clean and impressive. The parking lot had plenty of spaces, and there was a shuttle bus service, making access very convenient. I would definitely consider staying here again for my next Disney visit.

🎈 Tokyo Disneyland is a dreamland for children of all ages from around the world, a place everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime. 🎈 Even on a weekday, it's incredibly crowded. I can't imagine how packed it is on weekends! Queues for each ride are at least an hour long, and lines for popcorn and all the snacks are ridiculously long. Every restaurant is packed, with hardly any seats available. 🎈 Our family was lucky enough to see all three parades – noon, afternoon, and evening – and we were impressed by every single one. They were spectacular and beautiful, just as we had expected. #2026 New Year's Eve Day 1 Tokyo Station - Asakusa 📍 Tokyo Station Calbee Plus Jagariko French Fries. They taste exactly as you'd expect, but they're still delicious. Recommended for stopping by while exploring Tokyo Station Character Street! But not worth going out of your way to try just this. 📍 Sensoji Temple Since it's the beginning of the year, I tried fortune-telling for fun. If it's good, you can just tie it up, and if it's bad, you can leave, so it's a fun event to try without feeling pressured. It's worth trying once as a sightseeing experience. Day 2 Harajuku - Shibuya - Yoyogi Park 📍 Kariget Harajuku Kariget has now arrived in Korea. They're quite pricey in Japan, but the taste wasn't quite what I expected. The one I received was a bit burnt, which was disappointing. I won't be returning. 📍 SHIRO It's reasonably priced and a hot perfume brand in Japan, so if you're interested in scents, it's worth a visit. They have plenty of testers, so it's fun to try a variety of flavors. 📍 Ichiran Ramen It may seem common, but there's a reason it's still so popular. The flavor is subtle and smooth. I recommend trying it at least once if you visit Japan, but the long wait might mean you won't need to go multiple times. 📍 Yoyogi Park A great park for a quick break in the heart of the city. It was the perfect healing spot to stop by during a busy schedule. It's especially beautiful at sunset. 📍 Tsukishima Monja Kuuya Shibuya Tokyo's famous (?) monjayaki. Despite its appearance, it's incredibly addictive. A must-visit for anyone visiting Tokyo. Day 3 📍 Disney Sea The lines are incredibly long, so going late is not recommended. If possible, it's a good idea to purchase a pass in advance to secure your rides. Day 4 Ginza - Tokyo Tower - Shinjuku 📍Pain Maison The original salt bread. It's inexpensive, not particularly unique, but it's a classic. The an-butter, omelet-filled salt bread, and melon salt bread were all delicious, but the melon salt bread was unforgettable. 📍Shiba Park One of the best spots to view Tokyo Tower. Bring a mat and sit on the grass. We took a break here while enjoying our Pan Maison. 📍Coffee Seibu We visited because we were captivated by the colorful parfait. The taste was simply fruity. They say the food is delicious. Recommended if you want to experience the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese restaurant. Day 5 Ginza 📍Unitora Nakadori Branch A kaisendon restaurant in Tsukiji Market, famous for its seafood. Open from 8 AM, it's always crowded, even early in the morning. 💥🇯🇵6 DAYS IN JAPAN📍 Sharing my Tokyo and surrounding city itinerary DAY 1 — HELLO TOKYO We arrived in the morning, so today is a free day. The plan is to sightsee if we have the energy, and if not, just relax in a cafe while waiting to check in. We left our luggage at the station and explored Ueno and Yanaka areas. Checked into the hotel, rested, and in the evening went to Tokyo Tower. I've been to Tokyo 3 times but never been close to it, so we decided to visit. DAY 2 — KAMAKURA Today we went out of the city to Kamakura for the whole day. It's a lovely city with a relaxed atmosphere by the sea. You can easily do a day trip from Tokyo. But we chose to stay overnight because we're going to Hakone tomorrow. So we chose to stay near Ofuna Station for convenience. DAY 3 — HAKONE For nature lovers, I highly recommend this place. I think the nature here is lush and the views are relaxing. We took a pirate ship cruise on Lake Ashi. We saw views of Mount Fuji and took a cable car up to see Owakudani Valley, an active volcano. There was a sulfur eruption. It felt like a unique experience. DAY 4 — STUDIO TOUR We woke up a bit late today. We walked around Akihabara. We went to Bic Camera to look at electronics. (Initially, we were going to go to Meiji Shrine because I love the atmosphere. I always visit whenever I'm in Tokyo, but because of the rain, we changed our plan. I recommend having a backup sightseeing spot in mind!) In the afternoon, we dedicated time to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour. The Making of Harry Potter. For Harry Potter fans, or movie lovers, I highly recommend it. It's very well done. Allow 4-5 hours to watch it. There are so many details. On the way back, we stopped by Shinjuku for a walk. DAY 5 — TOKYO DISNEYLAND Today was dedicated entirely to Tokyo Disneyland. We went in December, and there were Christmas decorations, which were incredibly cute. It was worth the cold and my sore legs. DAY 6 — ASAKUSA TOUR Today started from Asakusa Station. We toured the area. We started by taking a bus to Matsuchiyama Shoden Temple, or what Thai people call the Radish Temple. We continued on to Imado Shrine (the cat shrine) and Sensoji Temple, in that order. Along the way, we stopped for a bite to eat, at a cafe we'd saved on the map. 💭 Hopefully, this will be another option for those planning a trip to Tokyo.
