Follow Your Heart Travel the World Trip to Vancouver 🇨🇦
When we visited Vancouver for the flower blossom season, we quickly realized that early to mid-April is the best time to catch the cherry blossoms 🌸in full bloom. This is when the city turns into a stunning display of pink and white petals, and the weather is just right for outdoor exploring.
I would highly recommend starting your journey at Queen Elizabeth Park, where cherry blossoms create a dreamy atmosphere perfect for photography. The park's elevated views also offer breathtaking cityscapes, making it one of our favorite spots for capturing panoramic shots.
📍Queen Elizabeth Park, 4600 Cambie St, Vancouver, BC V5Y 2M4, Canada
We also explored the beautiful VanDusen Botanical Garden, where we were greeted with an array of blooming flowers beyond just 🌸 This garden is vibrant throughout the year, but during blossom season, it feels like walking through a painting. I would recommend taking your time to wander through the paths and capture some unique angles by the ponds and sculptures, ideal spots for photos 📸 with a nature-meets-art vibe.
📍VanDusen Botanical Garden, 5251 Oak St, Vancouver, BC V6M 4H1, Canada
Another must-see is Stanley Park, which boasts a beautiful combination of nature trails and cherry blossom trees 🌸 scattered throughout the park. We visited the seawall for incredible views of the water framed by blossoms and it’s a fantastic spot for pictures 📸 especially near the Japanese Monument. The mix of city, sea, and cherry blossoms makes Stanley Park one of the top locations for photography lovers.
📍Stanley Park, Vancouver, BC V6G 1Z4, Canada
For something a bit more off the beaten path, we explored David Lam Park, a serene spot that’s often overlooked by tourists. The cherry blossoms 🌸 here are just as stunning but in a quieter, more peaceful setting. I would recommend coming here in the late afternoon when the light softens, perfect for taking intimate photos without the usual crowds.
📍David Lam Park, 1300 Pacific Blvd, Vancouver, BC V6Z 2Y1, Canada
Lastly, we made sure to visit Nitobe Memorial Garden 🪴 at the University of British Columbia. It’s a traditional Japanese garden that feels like a tranquil escape, with beautifully manicured trees and, during blossom season, delicate cherry petals floating across the pond. It’s one of those spots where you can truly immerse yourself in the moment, and the atmosphere is perfect for capturing both wide shots and close-ups.

If you can only stay in Vancouver for one day,
I suggest you don't miss Stanley Park.
Stanley Park is the largest urban park in North America,
and it truly lives up to its name as 'the world's top city park.'
Among the more than 200 parks in Vancouver,
Stanley Park is picturesque and has the most attractions,
attracting tourists from all over the world.
Stanley Park is like a paradise in the city center,
with the sea, beaches, lakes, forests, and gardens,
all kinds of landscapes are available, fully equipped.
Among them, the most unmissable is—
Lost Lagoon.
This is a tranquil and charming artificial lake,
located at the heart of Stanley Park,
next to the residential high-rise buildings of the city.
The lake water is crystal clear, the scenery is beautiful, and full of poetry.
Canadian geese, seagulls, and various water birds inhabit here.
The lakeshore is filled with birdsong and fragrant flowers, shaded by green trees,
visitors might as well take a walk along the shore,
while enjoying the fairyland-like scenery,
and have a close encounter with nature.

Vancouver | I absolutely love staying on this colorful and artistic little island
【Granville Island】This island, with its strong artistic atmosphere, is especially irresistible when the weather is clear with its vibrant colors!
I usually take the kids to 【Kids Market】 to have some fun, where there's an indoor playground, a hair salon, and lots of shops selling things for kids. We also visit the 【Granville Island Public Market】 to browse the big market, where the seafood and fruits are very fresh, and there's a wide variety of meats and cheeses, as well as all sorts of local homemade products like honey, chocolate, nuts, etc. The famous donut shop 【Lee's Donuts Granville Island】 is also here! There are many seafood restaurants, and one we often go to is 【The Vancouver Fish Company】 by the lake, which has a great view and fresh seafood; the seafood pasta is a must-order every time! The other restaurants are also good. There's a food court, and on a nice day, you can buy some tasty food and eat it on the benches by the lake, watching street performers, but be careful not to let the pigeons snatch your food! Visitors can also take watercraft here as a means of transportation across to the other side, enjoying the beautiful scenery on the water. A very pleasant afternoon just passes by.
Fixing our Hunger Pangs @ Granville Island 🏝️
I had a tasty experience exploring Granville Island in Vancouver. Getting to the island using public transport (bus) wasn’t the easiest but we opted for it anyway as it was more economical than parking on Granville Island.
We had our lunch at the Public Market, where we found a table on the sundeck overlooking False Creek and Granville Bridge. We ordered a clam chowder to share and it was a creamy delight, literally a taste of the ocean! The cod fish and chips from Celine’s Fish and Chips were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. For dessert, we had Lee’s Donuts, which had a long but quick moving queue, and a box of Nanaimo Bar, which we were told were a Canadian favourite!

Stanley Park, Vancouver
Went on a date with my boyfriend in Vancouver and had a lovely time strolling around Stanley Park. The park offers hiking trails and beautiful views of Vancouver Harbour. We also visited Vancouver Aquarium and the Totem Poles. We then drove around the perimeter of the park, but be warned that there are horse-drawn carriages that tend to slow down traffic. There is paid hourly parking around the park.

This place is amazing. it never fails to give you a brand new look every day. The weather is so conducive for long walks, date and exercise. I cannot get enough of it day by day.
It is actually so much better in person than postcards.

Lost Lagoon No Longer.
Lost Lagoon is an artificial lake spanning some 16 hectare of man-made body of water by the Entrance of Stanley Park in Vancouver, Canada.
The Lost Lagoon was originally a tidal mud flat and only became a freshwater lagoon built for recreation and esthetic purposes when the Stanley Park causeway was built.
Though it is a relatively short walk, there is definitely so much to do, specicifically during Autumn season starting September when leaves start to change colors from green to yellow to orange and finally foliage. The temperate Autumn Breeze sets a perfect temperature for a good walk, or just sitting down the benches lined up by the banks of the Lagoon.

🍁FALL-ing for Matcha 🍵
Level V Bakery/Whisk Premium Matcha
📍39 Kingsway, Vancouver BC
(take the 99 UBC bus 3 stops from Broadway/Commercial).
Forget pumpkin spice lattes, matcha is my go-to fall favourite flavour. For the best range of delicious matcha beverages, check out WHISK on Kingsway. My favourite was the Matchamallow soy latte - my first time tasting a vegan marshmallow and it gave all the cozy, toasty autumn vibes.
The shop is co-owned by Level V Bakery which makes some TO DIE FOR vegan pastries and sweets. I'm obsessed with the matcha and almond croissants, and that earl grey white chocolate chip cookie is 😚😚😚.

Trip to Vancouver
Vancouver, Canada 3 day trip -
it is a very lovely place, the weather is good, cool and dry. it has decent public transportation facilities, although a bit expensive. the flight to and from Vancouver international airport is smooth, 10 minute to clear costume. a lot of beaches around the city, and the UBC has a very nice campus. would also recommend a visit to their city centre at the night to experience night life in a bar in Vancouver. shopping wise there are many shops available in city centre.
and do remember to buy a compass card, and a day pass to save the cost. the cost of Uber / taxi is very high in the city.
Vancouver is now the Artists Mecca.
Travel to British Columbia and take a stroll through the streets of Vancouver and you will see some of the most beautiful artwork. Vancouver British Columbia is now turning into an Artists Mecca brimming with sculpture.

Life’s better in Vancouver
This place of the City is very nice since it is a dock for cruise ships. There you can meet a lot of people of different races and ages. The place has some nice restaurants to dine and chill out. The place is called downtown. We had to ride on a ferry they called “seabus” because we were from the other side of the islands. The travel is also very fast and convenient. Every 15 minutes there is a ferry available and the route only tales 10 minutes. The air is still fresh in the area even though it is already a bit crowded. One the best things to notice is that Canadian people are so nice, they will smile at you at greet you anytime. It’s really an experience!
