The monastery is stunning, situated on a mountain, and still inhabited by monks who carry out their daily routines. The area is vast, so it takes time to walk around, and it can be tiring as it is on a mountaintop, but it is absolutely worth it. #Get a discount without relying on luck We arrived in Leh in the afternoon. I recommend booking a window seat on the right; you'll see beautiful views of the snow-covered mountains. Leh airport is a small, single-story airport. You'll find your guide waiting for you outside the building if you push your trolley along the path. Once in Leh, always remember to walk slowly and do everything carefully. Because Leh is at an altitude of approximately 3,500-5,600 meters above sea level, the air is thin and oxygen is low. Therefore, when the guide drove us to the hotel, we rested in our rooms until the evening when they picked us up to go sightseeing. Leh Palace: The climb up involves many steps. It was once the residence of 20 members of the Namgyal dynasty and has a history of more than 1000 years. Today, it's a very valuable museum. The rooftop offers panoramic views of the entire city. Shanti Stupa (Peace Pagoda): This white, domed pagoda sits on a hill in the city and is considered a symbol of peace. It commemorates the 2,500th anniversary of Buddhism, and the pagoda houses relics of the Buddha inside. From the top of the pagoda, you can enjoy a 360-degree view. Leh Market is a pedestrian street market lined with shops selling souvenirs, clothes, food, and many handicrafts. Tibetan people also sell their agricultural produce. Inside, there are security scanners. Bags must be scanned. Individuals must walk through a scanning gate, where they will be searched again. Northern Goa has proven to be the most popular destination for Russian tourists, although I would also consider the southern part of the state. But let's start with the northernmost. Arambol – there are a lot of Russians and Russian-speaking people here. Yoga, retreats, meditation, enlightenment – ​​it's all here. The beach is nice, but like many northern Goa beaches, Arambol has gray sand. Inside the town, there are many shops and cafes, as well as trash. Mandrem, Ashvem, and Morjim – all within walking distance south of Arambol. I liked the first two for their picturesque views and great hotels on the beachfront, where mostly tourists from European countries, particularly Germany (according to my notes), vacation. Morjim didn't impress me – it felt like I was in the middle of nowhere, even though there are many Russian tourists here too. All three are small villages. Vagator and Anjuna are located very close, I couldn't even tell where the line was. Vagator Beach is deserted, followed immediately by the classic Vagator with cafes and sun loungers, and then further on is picturesque Ozran Beach, a small bay with virtually no waves. This beach is equally accessible from Vagator and Anjuna. I didn't like Anjuna Beach at all. Inside the villages, there's all the necessary amenities: cafes, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Baga is a nice place, quite cozy, I think. Lots of Indians vacation here. Calangute - there are even more Indians here than in Baga, and it has everything; it's almost a metropolis compared to all of the above. 😂. Souvenir prices are low, there's a wide selection of everything, and there are markets right there. Overall, the beach is a good spot between Baga and Calangute. Candolim is quieter, but Indians love it too. European retirees also love it; we saw a lot of them. Women aren't common, but they do sunbathe topless. We liked the beach from the central beach to the left, towards Sinquerim Beach and the fort, where you can walk along the shore for some great photos. The sand here is beautiful, golden, not gray. Among the southern beaches, we visited Colva, Majorda, and Utorda. The first was fine, the other two were a bit dull. Unlike the northern beaches, the sand here is whiter. I can't say we noticed a huge difference otherwise. #Goa #India

With the obvious main attraction being the Taj Mahal, we went at the best time to see it — right before sunrise, to catch the light beautifully scattering our ground from behind. Gandhi Smriti Museum • Impressions: This was Gandhi's final restroom and the site of his assassination. The museum is well-maintained, and there weren't many people there when I visited. • Address: 5, Tees January Marg, New Delhi 110011, India • Directions: Approximately a 12-minute walk from Lok Kalyan Marg Station on the Yellow Line. 2. National Museum, New Delhi • Comments: It's larger than expected, and the museum features a wide range of exhibits on Indian history and culture (Harappan artifacts, Buddhist art, weapons, decorative items, etc.), so it takes time to see everything.
