Church of Santa Maria Magdalena

The Church of Santa Maria Magdalena stands on top of the 300-meter Mola hill, km from the small Spanish town of Novelda. The temple was erected in the mid-20th century according to the design of Gaudi's admirer, engineer José Sala Sala. It is a beautiful church with stunning views. Famous for stone organ pipes with quite a unique sound. The Church of Santa Maria Magdalena can be reached from Alicante or other cities by train to Novelda-Aspe station, and then either take a taxi or walk - the distance is about 3 km.
