Long Lux Coffee Roasters – Ubon Ratchathani.
A cafe that isn't just "beautiful" but has a story that makes you want to stay longer than expected.
Some cafes you visit just for photos.
But some... feel like sitting inside "someone's memory."
Long Lux Coffee Roasters is exactly that kind of place.
🌿 An old house cafe brought back to life.
This is no ordinary cafe.
It's an 80-year-old building (formerly a rice mill) that has been beautifully renovated.
The original structure remains intact:
👉 Old walls
👉 Wooden stairs
👉 Vintage vibes
Perfectly blended with a cafe touch.
💬 The vibe is:
"Like visiting a friend's house... but your friend has immaculate style."
🌳 Atmosphere = Why people fall in love
· Located by the Mun River 🌊
· Shaded by large, lush trees
· Both indoor + outdoor seating
· Tons of photogenic spots
Some corners make you feel like you're abroad.
While others retain a cozy, local charm.
👉 It's a perfect blend.
And that’s exactly why people say,
"You'll definitely get plenty of great photos here."
☕ Coffee = Genuinely good, not just for looks
They don't use the word 'Roasters' lightly.
👉 High-quality coffee beans
👉 Well-balanced flavors
👉 Lattes come highly recommended
It's not just for cafe hoppers looking for photos.
Coffee lovers definitely "won't be disappointed."
🍰 Food & Sweets = You could chill here all day
Besides coffee, they also offer:
· Cakes
· Desserts
· Light meals
👉 You can actually sit down and stay a while, not just snap photos and leave.
💬 Review you can literally use as a caption:
There are some cafes... that just make you feel like "staying a bit longer."
Long Lux Coffee Roasters is one of them.
A large, old house
awakened and brought back to life.
The breeze,
sunlight filtering through wooden windows,
and the soft aroma of coffee wafting through the air.
It’s nothing flashy.
But it’s incredibly "comforting."
You just sit there,
sip your coffee,
and suddenly, you don't want to leave.
📍 Long Lux Coffee Roasters – Ubon Ratchathani
"Some places don't just excite you...
they make you 'want to stay.'" 🤍

Colors of the Season: When Rice Fields Transform into a Sunflower Paradise.
Rai Don Tawan at Ubon Ratchathani University (affectionately known as the UBU Sunflower Field) is one of the most picturesque winter check-in spots in Ubon Ratchathani. It's not just a standard agricultural experimental plot; it's a creative space crafted by the university's students and staff, blooming into an absolute paradise for photography lovers.
Here’s the magic you’ll experience when you visit:
🌻 A Golden Sea As Far As the Eye Can See
The true highlight here is the tens of thousands of giant sunflowers planted across a sprawling landscape. When they all reach full bloom, the entire area transforms into a radiant sea of gold that pops stunningly against the crisp, azure winter sky. It’s a breathtaking and vibrant sight.
🎓 A Labor of Love by the Students
What truly sets this place apart is the palpable sense of dedication behind it. This sunflower field is part of a hands-on learning and practical project for the students of the Faculty of Agriculture at UBU. Visiting is more than just a sightseeing trip; it’s a way to support and cheer on the incredible results of their academic hard work.
📸 Picture-Perfect Photo Ops
Beyond the stunning blooms, the university always sets up adorable photo corners, including:
Bamboo archways and winding paths: Stretching right into the heart of the flower fields.
Rustic seating areas: Beautifully designed to blend in seamlessly with nature.
Golden hour lighting: Right before sunset, a warm, orange glow washes over the sunflowers. Photographers consider this the "ultimate" time for shooting breathtaking portraits.
✨ Tips for Your Visit:
Best Time of Year: Generally, the sunflowers bloom from late December to January. (Be sure to check for updates on the "Faculty of Agriculture, UBU" Facebook page, as exact dates can shift slightly depending on the weather each year.)
Best Time of Day: We highly recommend visiting between 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM (when the sunflowers are proudly facing the sun in all their glory) or 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM to beat the midday heat.
Come Prepared: Don't forget to pack a hat, an umbrella, and your sunglasses. The area is quite open, and the Ubon sun can get pretty intense!
📍 Location:
Located inside Ubon Ratchathani University (Warin Chamrap District) at the Faculty of Agriculture's experimental farm. Just drive onto the campus, and you'll find clear signposts guiding the way.
"If you want to snap gorgeous photos in a cheerful atmosphere while soaking in the pride of our agriculture students... the UBU Sunflower Field is an absolute must-pin destination!
How to Get There 🚗
By Private Car (Most Convenient)
From downtown Ubon Ratchathani/Warin Chamrap: Take the Ubon-Det Udom route (Highway 24) heading towards Det Udom District.
After driving for about 15-20 kilometers, you’ll see Ubon Ratchathani University on your left.
Turn into the main gate and follow the signs for the "Faculty of Agriculture" or "Experimental Farm". The sunflower field is located in the experimental farm area toward the back of the campus.
2. By Public Transport (Songthaew)
Hop on Songthaew Route 11 (Red-White bus): This runs between Downtown Ubon - Warin - UBU.
The route ends right inside the university. You can hop off at the main campus parking lot or near the Faculty of Agriculture. From there, you can catch a local motorcycle taxi or walk to the sunflower field. (Since the campus is quite expansive, taking a motorcycle taxi is highly recommended for convenience.)
3. By Taxi or Grab
You can easily hail a ride from the city center or Ubon Ratchathani Airport directly to the front of the sunflower field. It’s fast and super convenient!
📍 GPS Pin:
You can set your Google Maps to: Ubon Ratchathani University.
(Note: Once you arrive on campus, keep an eye out for temporary signs pointing "To the Sunflower Field", as the exact planting plots may shift slightly from year to year.)
💡 Extra Tips:
Check Peak Bloom: The sunflowers usually look their absolute best for only a brief 1-2 week window. We strongly advise checking the "Faculty of Agriculture Ubon Ratchathani University" Facebook page before heading out.
Ideal Lighting: The morning light around 8:00 AM provides the most stunning glow for photos, and the flowers will be standing tall and beautiful.

Vela Bar - Vela Bar Cafe Warin Chamrap
A coffee shop in a 100-year-old wooden building that has been renovated and renovated into a place to relax. It is a boutique hotel, "Vela Warin (เวลาวาริน)", which is both beautiful and classic. The ground floor is a cafe selling food, drinks and homemade bakery. There are many drinks to choose from. You can choose coffee beans. There is also a signature menu of the shop. The coffee tastes good. The honey toast is also delicious.
The interior of the shop is decorated in a vintage style mixed with classic. There are many seating areas. I personally like the back garden. It gives a shady and refreshing atmosphere. On the walkway, there is a small corner for selling souvenirs and postcards. They should be beautiful handmade products. If anyone is looking for a place to stay with a cute cafe like this, I recommend this place. The atmosphere is very good.

Fall in love with Coffee Roaster, a coffee shop where you can chill in Ubon.
A very hip and popular coffee shop for Ubon people. Anyone who visits Ubon must come to this shop. The name of the shop is "Long Rak Coffee Roaster". It is a coffee shop on the bank of the Mun River in Warin Chamrap District. It is not far from the city center. Just drive across the Seri Prachathipatai Bridge 2497 and you will arrive. We can see the highlight of the shop from the city center side. The shop is an old building that has been renovated. It used to be an old rice mill with a high chimney. It is in a loft style, dark, mixed with decorations by bringing antique cars or decorations to decorate around the shop. The landscape of the shop is shady, cool, and very inviting. Especially during this time, the weather is nice and cool. We recommend sitting outside the shop, chilling by the blue pond, sipping coffee and reading a book. The building has air conditioning, but there are not many tables. We recommend sitting around noon or afternoon. There is quite a lot of parking space. You can park in front of the shop.
As for the taste of the coffee, it is okay. The standard of general coffee shops is not too expensive. If anyone is looking for a coffee shop to chill, we recommend this shop. You will not be disappointed.

Atmosphere/Location - Wela Warin

Warin Chamrap, a prosperous area during the war
'Warin Chamrap' is a district located to the south of Mueang Ubon Ratchathani District. With a long history and being one of the areas where the Ubon Royal Thai Air Force Base was located during World War II, Warin Chamrap was very prosperous at that time, comparable to the Charoen Krung area today. With such prosperity, there have been many communities with architecture that are worth preserving, one of which is the octagonal wooden building located in the heart of the city. And became the current Wela Warin Hotel, which is a valuable ancient wooden house.

And I want to say that the price is very cheap, 40-60 baht.
The taste is more than the price. The service is good. You have to come and try it.

Lotus Warin Ball House
Review of the ball house that my grandchildren love
A small ball house is suitable for our little ones. The cost is 60 baht per person. If anyone doesn't have socks, they have to buy socks for 20 baht per person to enter the ball house. The playing time is 30 minutes. If there are not many people, the staff will let you play continuously. The ball house is next to the food center. You can sit and eat and watch your children at the same time. In the ball house, there will be 1 staff to take care of the ball house and 1 outside.
Summary
This ball house is considered to help parents in shopping plus taking care of the little ones a lot.
The ball house is in Lotus Warin, Ubon Ratchathani Province.

Nap's coffee × warin
#Cafe Review Nap's coffee × warin A chill cafe with very delicious croissants. Other bakery items are also good. The coffee here tastes good. The price ranges from tens to hundreds, which is considered okay. The atmosphere of the shop has both air-conditioned rooms and natural breezes under the trees. Camping style, you can choose to sit and chill as you like. You can come to work, read a book, or chat with friends, whichever is more convenient. 🙂 The staff are cute, the service is good, the shop is clean. This cafe is next to Boonhome Jaew Hon, Warin Chamrap District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, the land of lotus flowers. Let me tell you that the black coffee with honey and lemon here is excellent. If you have free time, try stopping by and having a taste. You will love it. 😁😁
