Seven Sisters Country Park is a unique place. It comprises 280 hectares of chalk cliffs, meandering river valley and open chalk grassland.
It’s home to grazing livestock, rare flora and fauna and is a corridor for a large number of migrating birds.
The meanders of the Cuckmere river flow through the Park and visitors can follow the adjacent footpath from the Visitors Centre to the coast.
Situated at Exceat, near Seaford, East Sussex, the Park is well served by buses from Brighton, Seaford and Eastbourne, making it ideal for a car-free day out.

For a whole different experience at the Seven Sisters Cliffs, UK 🇬🇧 (2 hours from London), don’t just keep your eyes to the cliff, take a short hike (around 45min) up the cliff, turn back, and have a look at the ocean from the top! It gives you a whole different view trust me!
Try doing this around sunset hours too, it’s even pretty I was told!

#travelhacks
The Seven Sisters Cliffs are an awe-inspiring stretch of chalk cliffs along England’s southern coast. They are a quieter and arguably more picturesque alternative to the White Cliffs of Dover. Perfect for nature lovers and hikers, this hidden gem offers some of the most dramatic coastal views in the UK. The best way to experience the cliffs is by hiking the South Downs Way from Seaford to Eastbourne. This 22km trail takes you through rolling meadows, coastal views, and serene countryside.
The walk can be challenging, especially when navigating the inclines, but the reward is a breathtaking panorama of the English Channel. Solo travelers and photographers will enjoy the tranquility and uninterrupted views, particularly during sunrise or sunset when the light illuminates the cliffs. For those less inclined to hike, there are accessible viewpoints at Seaford Head, a short distance from the Seaford train station.
Travelers will appreciate the relative quietness of the area compared to more tourist-heavy destinations. As a travel hack, bring a packed lunch and plenty of water to avoid the limited and often overpriced food options nearby. Also, check the tide schedule if you plan to explore the beach below. Seven Sisters Cliffs is ideal for a peaceful day trip or an extended nature retreat, offering an unmatched coastal escape.

Seven Sister Cliffs
This picture was captured when we are going back to our car and a bunch of horses are coming towards the lake to drink water.
The whole environment is so calming that even though you’re going uphill you won’t feel the exhaustion, because the nature is there to make it more relaxing.
To be surrounded by beautiful water of United Kingdom and hiking through the mountains of Seven Sister is really a good time to spend with family, friends, or even your beloved animals.

Seven sisters
The Seven Sisters cliffs are an absolutely stunning destination. The breathtaking views of the chalk cliffs against the backdrop of the sea are unforgettable. The trail itself was not too difficult, making it an enjoyable hike even for those who aren't seasoned hikers.
We also visited the nearby towns of Brighton and Eastbourne, both of which were delightful. Brighton's vibrant atmosphere and Eastbourne's charming seaside vibe made the trip even more memorable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience combining natural beauty with charming towns. Highly recommend!

White Cliffs selected by National Geographic as the most beautiful destination in the UK
The answer is on the road, freedom is in the wind🍃
Rare good weather in the UK on the weekend, made a spontaneous trip to the White Cliffs
Chose Seven Sisters over the White Cliffs of Dover
Because the white cliffs of the Seven Sisters are truly more spectacular
Departing from the seaside town of Brighton
70mins drive, the coastal road offers great views all the way
⚠️A hurricane is landing in the UK this week
Wear windproof clothing
Sunbathing on the cliff top that existed since the Cretaceous period
Smelling the scent of the ancient earth, that's what wandering is all about, isn't it?

Seven Sisters Cliffs - Eastbourne
If you are looking to take a date trip from London and I highly recommend Seven Sister Cliffs. It's worth every penny.
How to Get there : Take a train from London to Eastbourne Station which cost around 17£. Then take a bus from Eastbourne Station ( Bus Numbet 12A, 12 or 12A) and Get off at Seven Sisters Country Park.
You'll find mutlipe spots to click great photos like mine 😂 Also make sure you check the weather before visiting and wear waterproof shoes as the walk to the cliffs are very muddy and a bit long walk too ( about 30-40min one way) #freehotelstay #2024wish #uk #daytrip

Seven Sisters
One of the most beautiful cliffs in the world~ this cliff is at the southern England where only several miles east to Brighton, within the driving distance from London, hence easy to reach. This is one of the famous tourist attractions for tourists who come to the UK for visit. It’s most beautiful moment is at the sunset of which the colour of the sun is golden and astonishing~

Lovely days at the Seven Sisters
Just returned from an awe-inspiring adventure along the breathtaking Seven Sisters coastline in the UK, and I couldn't wait to share the magic with you all! 😍
As I stood atop the towering cliffs, the panoramic views took my breath away. The emerald-green rolling hills stretched endlessly, adorned with vibrant wildflowers that danced in the gentle sea breeze.
The star of the show, of course, were the iconic chalk cliffs themselves. Majestic and imposing, they stood tall against the crashing waves below, creating a dramatic and unforgettable sight. The chalky white cliffs seemed to glow in the sunlight, casting a spellbinding spell on all who beheld them. ✨
🚄 How to get there?
I got the train to Eastbourne and walked all the way along the cliffs.

Beautiful Seven Sisters cliff
Wear a pair of non-slip comfortable shoes. If you are in good physical condition, you can take the green vegetation like that couple. Don’t take the white ramp. It’s too deceptive from a distance.
The following is the strategy after my personal test⬇️
🚞If you depart from London, you can choose the London bridge-Brighton round trip, the Thameslink route is the cheapest round trip railcard at about 10 pounds
🚌Take 12X (midweek) and 13X (weekend) to reach Baiya directly (if you take the bus from Brighton Railway Station ⚠️ Note that the starting station of the bus may not be at the station, but at the sealive center by the sea)
✅ Tickets are purchased on the Brighton Hove app. You can buy a 24-hour network saver student ticket for 4.2 pounds, but you need to submit information for verification. Multiple people can also buy a double 24-hour ticket for a total of 10 pounds
✅As shown in Figure 4, I got off from the seven sister park. There is a visitor center where you can go to the toilet, and then walk to the location in Figure 2, about 30 minutes. You can take pictures of the Seven Sisters at the beach. Then go up the cliff. Walk through seven slopes to birlin gap (about 1h15min), here is a gathering point for tourists, you can go to the toilet to replenish water and rest. It takes 1 hour to walk to the Beachy Head red lighthouse, and the total journey takes more than 3 hours. If the return journey is in the middle of the week, you need to go to East Dean to take 12x (may need to walk for 1 hour)
Although many people post the foot-saving route, I feel that hiking enthusiasts and friends with good physical strength should walk the whole way. I personally feel that the first half of the Seven Sisters Cliff is more beautiful. On the contrary, the back of Birlin gap feels average, maybe It's because I'm tired from walking, aesthetic fatigue and the flow of people has increased significantly
⚠️tips:
Bring water, tourists can pick up water, pay attention to sun protection, do not approach the edge of the cliff to prevent accidents
