#europetrip An interesting collection of items and information about Wells and its Bishop. There are displays detailing 800 years of history. The Palace has gardens to enjoy. We went on a rainy October day and couldn't see a lot from the ramparts due to the mist. However, we would like to return on a clearer day to see if we can spot Glassonbury Tor in the distance. An adult ticket for the Palace and Gardens is £17.50 but this can give you entry for a year. There are some concessions and family tickets available, and there is a joint ticket that also gives access to the cathedral. That's worth getting if you intend to visit both sites (they're next to each other). Accessibility is good. The inside of the building is mostly level, and there is a platform lift. There is a clear even path around the gardens. The ramparts are only accessed via stone steps.

The building was beautiful, there was so much to see, lots of information boards, and not forgetting the second oldest working clock in the world. It costs £14 to get in, but you can return as many times as you like for the next 12 months, and I will definitely return. I met some friendly people too.

Here, I felt a sense of ease and the simple happiness of people enjoying the tranquility of life. For lunch, I chose a tea room recommended by the locals. The tea room's decor was rustic and elegant, exuding an English countryside charm. I ordered an English afternoon tea, savoring delicious scones, sandwiches, and pastries, and experiencing the elegance and comfort of an English afternoon tea. The tea room's cozy atmosphere led me to chat with the owner, a warm and friendly local resident. She introduced me to Wells' attractions and shared snippets of her life. This afternoon tea not only satisfied my taste buds but also gave me a glimpse into the friendliness and warmth of Wells' people. In the afternoon, I continued to wander the town's streets, admiring the scenery along the way. I noticed that many houses were well-preserved, each with its unique architectural style, yet all blending seamlessly with the surroundings, creating a distinctive urban landscape. During my walk, I discovered interesting shops and galleries with unique decor and a wide array of goods that kept me lingering. I bought some local handicrafts as souvenirs of this trip. In the town center, I found a tranquil little garden. The garden was filled with vibrant flowers, making me feel like I was in a fairy tale. I sat on a bench, quietly admiring the scenery and soaking in the garden's tranquility and beauty. In the garden, I met a local artist who was painting. We struck up a conversation, and he showed me his works and shared his love for Wells. This chance encounter gave me a sense of Wells' artistic atmosphere and the passion people have for life. We even enjoyed a cup of coffee together in the garden, talking about life, art, and travel, adding an unforgettable touch to my Wells journey. My Trip to the UK I visited The Wales Cathedral in the UK was an amazing experience filled with spirituality and history. I enjoyed talking and taking pictures as much as we could see. ❤️ The cathedral is one of the finest examples of English Gothic architecture, ☺️ with its ornate details and towering spires. I enjoyed wandering through the stained glass reflecting biblical scenes and the spacious hallways. The light passing through there adds a special beauty to the atmosphere. The ancient astronomical clock inside the cathedral was one of the outstanding monuments that caught my attention with its intricate geometric details. The surrounding gardens were quiet, giving me time to contemplate and enjoy their beauty.

It is really nice and cozy to stay here. the room just right across the Cathedral. you can view room the Cathedral at night with beautiful view. Staffs are nice and meal is great.
