I like Wenzhou, mainly because of the food. This time, I stayed at the Westin, which is said to be the best hotel in Wenzhou. The room rate was about CNY 1,100 per night. I stayed in a room on a high floor with a great view. The design is nice. The room itself is nothing special, but the corridors and stairs are quite impressive. The welcome gift was nice. There was a variety of fruit and Evian water. There was also some body oil on the bedside table, but I didn't know how to use it. There was also Chinese tea in the room, which made me feel like I was staying at an Atour Hotel. The room was comfortable. Westin is not a luxury brand, but the massage was good, although I didn't try it. I didn't try the executive lounge or breakfast because there was so much good food in Wenzhou, so I won't comment on them. Compared to the Shangri-La, the Westin is newer, has a better view, and is in a quieter area. Both hotels have their pros and cons.

Wenzhou was a great place to have fun. Wuma Street is quite lively and you can go for a stroll there. Mochi Park is free and quiet, perfect for relaxation. Wenzhou Art Museum is quite interesting. It’s not high-end art, but it’s quite down-to-earth. The Drum Tower is just for historical purposes, nothing special. The lights of the Jingguang Tower are beautiful at night. Food: Mrs. Bian’s Old Ningbo Steamed Vegetables, the shrimp cakes are delicious, the spareribs are tender, you have to go early to queue up. The handmade glutinous rice buns in Rongxiang are pretty good, and the taro paste tastes good. Cedar Tree snacks, the fish ball noodles and pot stickers are delicious, the almond tofu is just average, and the glutinous rice flour with some soy milk is the best. Overall it's OK, all the food in the scenic spots is OK.
