Visiting Caversham Wildlife Park in Perth was one of the most memorable experiences of my trip to Australia. The park gives you the chance to get really close to Australia’s iconic animals in a relaxed and natural environment. One of the highlights was taking a selfie with a koala. Seeing the koala up close was such a special moment — they are even cuter in real life! The koala was calm and fluffy, and it felt amazing to stand beside such a unique Australian animal. Another unforgettable activity was feeding the kangaroos. They were roaming freely in the open area, and visitors could hand-feed them with special food provided by the park. The kangaroos were gentle and friendly, happily hopping over when they saw food in our hands. It was so fun interacting with them and taking photos while they ate. The park also has many other animals like wombats, farm animals, and colorful birds. It’s a great place for families and animal lovers because the experience feels very interactive and personal. This zoo offers great interactivity and participation — perfect for kids who love animals, they’ll be thrilled! We went on a Saturday and there were lots of locals, so we had to queue quite a while at the entrance. · You’ll get a green map at the entrance. · Pay attention to the schedule on it — there are fixed times for:  · Meet the Koala  · Meet the Wombat  · Penguin Feeding  · Farm Show Make sure to go early and line up in advance to get a front-row spot — if you're late, you won’t see much. The queue to take a photo with the koala was super long (guess how I found out... 😅). I visited a wildlife park located about 30 minutes by car from the center of Perth, Australia! It's highly recommended because you can meet Australia's popular animals that are hard to encounter in the city all at once! First, we experienced feeding kangaroos🦘. You can see them freely roaming around the spacious grounds, living as if they were in the wild! It's super cute to see them hopping towards you when you place food in your palm❤️. The ones with white fur are said to be albino!? Next, you can take photos next to a wombat being held by a zookeeper! It's okay to touch their feet👌🏽. For koalas, it's okay to gently stroke their backs with the back of your hand👌🏽. There are photo lists of the koalas and wombats on the wall, so it's fun to find out which one you interacted with! Just like humans, each one has a different face, so you can also look for your favorite!

We loved how easy it is to find a nice playground in perth and pur favourite has got to be Pia's Place. Pia's Place is located at Whiteman Park and it is designed to include kids of all abilities to play in a safe natured based inclusive space. The playground is super fun, not just for the young but also for the adults. It is a great place for the children to explore, laugh and learn, and where everyone can just play together. There is so much to play there. For example, there are swings, long slides, a flying fox, a merry go round and a massive lighthouse for kids to play. Caversham wildlife park, what an experience. From the farm show learning how the sheep are sheered and mustered to learning how to crack a whip. Beautiful afternoon walk thru the park feeding the kangaroos and the sheer joy in being able to touch and interact with them. We were lucky they were hungry and were more than happy to take food out of our hands. We also had a duck follow us around for ages looking for food. Photos with koalas were amazing Deffinetly a must visit for anyone in perth
