We just returned from the museum! I'm absolutely delighted and want to share some tips for visiting the museum. The museum consists of two parts: 1. The pavilions where the Sculpture Army excavations were conducted; 2. The Lishan Mountain Park. Museum itinerary: 1. Go straight to the excavation area. Look at Pit 1 (it's the first and largest pavilion). Then Pit 2, and Pit 3. 2. Then go to the Exhibition Center. There you'll see the warrior sculptures in display cases up close. You can admire them. 3. Relax in a café. Have lunch. 4. Exit this part of the museum. You need to go straight past the turnstiles. Walk through the area with cafes and shops. Find the parking lot where the free buses are. They'll take you to Lishan Mountain Park. 5️⃣ Buy a ticket for the electric car around the park. 6️⃣ Find the area with the bronze sculptures. 💰Prices and organizational details. 🗓️The museum is open seven days a week. 🎟️ Tickets 120 yuan per person. It's best to buy online in advance. The price includes admission to the entire museum complex. 🚍 An additional 5 yuan is available on site for an electric car that will take you to the excavations. 🚍 An electric car costs 15 yuan to travel around Lishan Park. 👟Wear comfortable shoes. You'll be walking a lot! 🍿 There's a small cafe inside the museum area where you can buy sandwiches, drinks, and ice cream. 🍜 A full lunch is available upon exiting the park. 🧣If you're going on a cold, cloudy day, dress warmly. The museum doesn't heat up! ☔If you're going on a rainy day, bring an umbrella. The walkways between the pavilions are outdoors. And the walk around Lishan Mountain also takes place in the open park area. 📸Photographs are better on a cloudy day. ⏳We spent the whole day walking around the museum! 😄 I'm an art historian. I found it very interesting. I even went through some pavilions twice. So I could see everything. ⏰I recommend arriving at the museum at a time that suits you, but preferably in the morning. It doesn't matter if it's early morning or afternoon—there are always a lot of people here. So you won't catch a moment without people. ⏳At least 3 hours is needed for the tour. That's the minimum! ‼️Absolutely! Be sure to visit the mausoleum park and find the pavilion where the bronze sculptures are kept. There are only two, but they are magnificent! And they're from the 3rd century BC! So it's a must. I'm writing about this because I've seen many groups simply not make it here. It's quite far from the excavations themselves.
