It was an amazing experience to go and visit 太乙cave. The lights inside the cave made a great atmosphere and I felt like in the wonderland. I was surprised to see so many nice shapes and halls made out of water and rock. The trip into a cave was 60 yuan for a ticket, there was no english translator. When we finished it we went on the top of the hill to meet monks from the local temples. If you plan to visit it with your baby be ready to carry him or her a lot. Steep stairs are everywhere. There is a small lake nearby where you can spend some time too. If the weather is nice you can rent a boat and sail there with wild ducks. #太乙cave

Don't rush to 2 scenic spots in 1 day; it's tiring for both you and the kids. 07 Chizhou | Anhui For Mount Jiuhua, don't plan on climbing Tiantai with kids. 📍 Just walk around Jiuhua Street, visit Huacheng Temple and the Hall of the Flesh Body Bodhisattva, and listen to the stories. ⏰ There are fewer cars going up the mountain before 7:00 AM, so no traffic jams. Don't trust the "charter a car to the mountain" offers at the station exit, as the scenic area has an official shuttle service. ⚠️ Heavenly Lake is covered by clouds and mist about two-thirds of the year. Don't blame the mountain if you can't see it; it just doesn't want to see you. July and August are the most comfortable for escaping the heat, while September offers richer autumn colors and fewer crowds. 2️⃣ Yancheng | Jiangsu Dafeng Milu Deer Park sounds like a zoo, but once you're inside, you'll realize it's a real wetland. ⏰ The Milu deer are most active in the early morning and evening; they lie flat at noon, so don't push yourself. 📍 The park is divided into a battery car tour area and a walking area. Youning Temple is on the way from Huzhu to Xining, making it a perfect stop along the way. The temple is built on a hillside overlooking the river valley, making it much quieter than many viral temples. ⚠️ Haidong is at an altitude of over 2,000 meters; most people are fine, but don't jump around as soon as you arrive. It's suitable for self-driving between Xining and Huzhu, as public transport wait times are on the longer side. The June 6th Flower Festival is the liveliest time, but it's a quiet version if you go at other times. 7️⃣ Bortala | Xinjiang I would call Sayram Lake "the last tear of the Atlantic," but don't just stop at the South Gate for photos. 📍 The road around the lake is about 90 km; a self-driving loop takes at least 3 hours, and entering from the East Gate and exiting from the South Gate is the smoothest route. ⏰ In June, the wildflowers around the lake are in full bloom, while in September, the grass is yellow and the water is blue; each has its own charm. For the Liuzhou night view, don't just take a cruise; 📍 the walking path from Wenchang Bridge to Huxi Bridge is more relaxing to walk and watch than being on a boat. 🍜 For Luosifen, go to the ones downstairs in old residential areas; the ones with long lines aren't necessarily the best, as a fresh broth and crunchy sour bamboo shoots are the standard. ⚠️ Chengyang Eight Villages is in a Dong ethnic village; respect local customs when entering the village and don't take photos of people's main living rooms.
