The Chinese culture integrates various ethnic groups, and one interesting destination during travel is the settlements of minority ethnic groups, such as the Tibetan, Miao, Yi, Qiang, Korean, etc. These are generally located in border areas and indeed have quite different living habits from the Han nationality. Guizhou is one of the main distribution areas of the Miao nationality, and Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is the largest settlement here. It takes about four hours to get there from Guiyang. The entrance has a large sign that reads 'Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village', and the back of the ticket has a complete tourist map of the scenic area ❤️ A half-day cultural journey might look like this: Take a leisurely walk and snap photos all the way to the highest point for a panoramic view of the entire village. If you are planning a trip to Guizhou province then this is one of the best place to visit 🏞. From kaili you can take a taxi or coach to this village. Take the train from Guiyang north railway station then sharing car to arrivare to the village. Get off to the West Gate and purchase the ticket first to e enter the area, suggested avoid the crowds timing after this step the shuttle bus will bring u to the final destination close to the village. Xijiang Miao Village

The Xijiang Miao Village is located near Kaili in Guizhou. 🚌 Staying in Kaili we took a local tourist bus from the central bus station to the village. It was 16RMB pp and took about an hour. 🏯🌄 The village was absolutely amazing. Entrance to the village was 110 RMB pp including a few shuttle bus trips to be used inside the village. After entering you will be greeted by traditional dancing and you can partake in tasting the traditional rice wine. 🏠 There are several accomodation options in the village. We stayed at #drum Tibetan Family Inn which has magnificent views of the entire village and excellent food. There are also many shops and restaurants in the village. 🎣 There are a few activities to do too. There's traditional dancing, fishing and horse riding to name a few. 🏅Overall a great place to visit. Although a little commercialised, the village maintains its traditional charm and offers superb photography opportunities. You can directly reach this place by the sightseeing bus. 🚌 When you buy the village entrance ticket, 4 times can use bus for free after that 5 RMB should be paid for each journey. Taking photos here is really photogenic, whether it's sunny, rainy, morning, or night, whether you stand halfway up the mountain, by the Xijiang River, or next to the rice fields, you can take anime-like photos. 📝Tips: It's best to stay here for two or three days, stay in a mountainside homestay, and the scenery is right outside the window. It's best to travel freely and not with a group. As long as you leave the main street and walk towards the mountainside or distant rice fields, there will be much fewer tourists. 2⃣ Zhenyuan Ancient Town It has been rated as one of the top ten most beautiful ancient towns in China and is also known as the Oriental Venice, with beautiful scenery and a long history. Afternoon tea by the pool Paired with the scenery of the thousand-house Miao village, caves, gardens, pools, floating afternoon tea, rooftop views, sky mirrors, private courtyards, hot springs, observation decks, and photo spots everywhere It is like a colorful painting full of poetic and musical charm. Xijiang Diezhuang · Flower Unawakened Address: Near No. 1 Bridge and there is a station nearby (very convenient for carrying luggage) The hotel has complete facilities, providing L'Occitane toiletries, Marshall speakers, and Dyson hairdryers. Come to Guizhou with your sisters just for this place! 💙 The location is unbeatable It's in the center of the scenic area, halfway up the mountain. Going down to the main street is the commercial street, with internet-famous restaurants and barbecue spots right near the hotel! The attractions are also around, making it super convenient to check in! The design of the store is also right up my alley, taking photos here is a breeze, and the original pictures come out perfectly. I highly recommend it. 💙 The service is excellent and highly recommended The stay includes many projects, with a butler providing pick-up and drop-off services and explaining the routes throughout. Guizhou Xijiang Miao Village

If you have a chance to come China,and you only have low budget for 3days travel time.Please come to Guizhou Xijiang Miao Village.Foods are delicious and very relaxed to stay here. You can try their sour soup noodles , marinated pork, drink tea and homemade rice wine. The paddy field in the village ,looks so beautiful in the early morning.At night you can go to the observation deck area eat dinner and enjoying the views from top.The landscape is magnificent To reach here i took a train to Kaili south train station and from there you can either take a bus or shared private car to this village .Many tour agents or driver will approach the tourists to go this places.Not expensive and distance from Kaili south to this village is only 45 minutes. Miao village: a minority paradise

We spent 2 days and a night in Miao autonomous village just half an hour drive from Kaili (fast train from Guiyang, Guizhou). It is a lovely village built either side of a clean rushing river up the hills of a valley, with all wooden housing structures, surrounded by green. It is so picturesque and peaceful. We happily spent hours wandering up and down little cobble stoned streets, buying local handicrafts like silver jewellery and beautiful embroidered items. People told us they had come here as a day trip but we were so glad we spent a night so we fell asleep and woke up listening to the sound of the river and with beautiful views over the village.
