The Richmond Hotel is... Kyoto itself. I came back exhausted after an outing, and just looking out the floor-to-ceiling windows was healing!!! Thanks to the daily changing programs... we had a drawing class and a bamboo chopstick making class, haha. My daughter loved it so much. It was also great to be able to enjoy drinks and alcohol during the evening!! Especially!! The best part was that the staff were so friendly. We decided that we will definitely stay here again next time we visit.

This small town of Xiushui is really perfect for a slow family trip. It's not far from Wuhan by car. Here you can enjoy delicious Jiangxi cuisine, oxygen-rich natural scenery, and quaint ancient villages. The pace is slow, the crowds are few, making it an ideal weekend getaway with kids. The food in Xiushui is truly a pleasant surprise. I originally thought Jiangxi cuisine would be very spicy, but it turned out to be fragrant and mildly spicy, gentle and not irritating, even kids can enjoy it. The stir-fried noodles, bullfrog, and chicken feet at the group dining hall are all delicious. The Feichang (pork intestine) at Qiyun Restaurant is especially clean with no unpleasant smell. The combination of amaranth and century egg soup is strange but surprisingly tasty. Xiushui Shaozi is a local specialty, somewhat like Hubei's dumplings but with a different outer skin, definitely worth trying. For breakfast, I recommend Taoge Noodles, piled high with wood ear mushrooms, dried tofu, pickled vegetables, and peanuts like a small mountain, topped with a secret sauce. The noodles are smooth, the soup fresh, with a spicy and sour flavor loved by both adults and children. The scenery at Donghu Village is truly beautiful, with an oxygen level off the charts, a natural oxygen bar. If you bring kids, it's recommended to buy tickets online in advance, which is over 30 yuan cheaper than buying on-site. You can buy a package ticket to enjoy various activities, or just buy the entrance ticket if you only want to hike and breathe fresh air. You don't have to climb to the top; sitting halfway up to enjoy the view and oxygen is more comfortable than being out of breath from climbing.
