The eternal god of Western Sichuan - A snow mountain journey on my life's list

Western Sichuan is beautiful in all four seasons, It's a mysterious and very healing place. Western Sichuan is not far away, you can just go on a whim. The Scarecrow Travel took me to three encounters with three snow mountains, I savored a feast of snow mountains among the clouds in Western Sichuan. 🏔️【Mount Siguniang, Yala Snow Mountain】 These two famous snow mountains in the Tibetan area fulfilled all my fantasies about Western Sichuan. Here, snow mountains, grasslands, lakes, and seas of cattle and horses form beautiful and spectacular paintings. The sight of them is unforgettable. Not only are they high in altitude, but their scenery is no less stunning than other snow mountains, especially when paired with Tagong Grassland and the sunset, the view is even more beautiful. ❷Besides the beautiful scenery, what's unforgettable is the story shared by a local Tibetan youth, Jiumei. He talked about his entrepreneurial experience: building libraries, guesthouses, and trying various methods to find a way out on the Tibetan Plateau. From his story and words, I felt his deep love for this land. The well-designed sharing session gave me a profound understanding and feeling for the Tibetan people and their culture. 🏔️【Mount Gongga】 It's extremely difficult to reach Niubei Mountain due to its high altitude, requiring at least four bus changes, switching to six taxis, then to an Iveco, and finally to the hotel's off-road shuttle. Fortunately, the Scarecrow Travel arranged everything, otherwise, I can't imagine how I would have gotten up here alone. When the weather is good, you can see the full view of Mount Gongga, with clouds, sunset, starry sky, sunrise. Watching the clouds surge at that moment, I felt that all the hardships along the way were worth it. Longcanggou national forest park is a wonderful valley in the South of Sichuan province. It's perfect for hikes and if you're lucky, you can see wild red pandas. We didn't see some, but our friends saw some one week before. 📍 The forest is in Ya'An and here is the Chinese name for navigation: 雅安市龙苍沟 🎟️ Entrance is about 60RMB including a bus ride insight the forest. Forest Hike in Longcanggou (Chengdu)

Longcanggou is a national park and forest in the West of Sichuan's capital city Chengdu. 🌳🍁🌿 Longcanggou hike is about 8km, although you can add some extra roads and circles. If you're lucky, you can also see red pandas, the small brothers/sisters of the giant panda. I recommend to spend at least 4-6 hours there, it's quite huge. 🥾 📍Chinese name for navigation: 龙苍沟 From the citycenter of Chengdu it's about 80km and 1-2 hours per car, parking is available.
