Standing on the sand ridge and looking both ways, one side is the oasis of Dunhuang city, and the other is the boundless yellow sea of sand. Crescent Spring lies there in the embrace of the large sand dunes, a pool of clear blue water, curved, like an emerald ring deliberately placed there. 🐫Riding a camel feels better than walking After entering the scenic area, most people ride camels. The camel teams form a long line, walking up the sand mountain along a fixed route. The camels sway as they walk, their hooves making muffled sounds as they sink into the sand, and all you see are layers of undulating sand dunes. The view from camelback is excellent; you can see tiny figures moving on the distant sand dune peaks.
