Let me share with you a fantastic place to visit - Yongchun Dapu Xiangdu in Quanzhou. It is truly a "world of fragrance"😜.
📍First stop: Binda Xiang Cultural and Creative Park
This is the perfect place to learn about Yongchun's incense culture. The park features a training hall, a modern incense-making workshop, a natural incense drying field, an incense material production area, and an incense culture academy. Entering the park, you can observe traditional incense-making methods such as bamboo incense, rubbing incense, coiling incense, and waterwheel-powered incense production up close. Watching the skilled workers operate is like watching a wonderful artistic performance😃. If you're lucky, you can even try your hand at throwing incense flowers or stamping incense flowers, and experience the joy of incense-making. In the incense ceremony hall, enjoy an elegant incense ceremony performance. Amidst the wisps of fragrant smoke, let your mind find a moment of peace💕. After a tiring day, take a seat in the incense and tea area, sip a cup of fragrant tea, and experience the perfect fusion of incense and tea. The incense product showroom and agarwood art gallery are also worth visiting. The variety of exquisite incense products and art pieces will leave you speechless. Whether you're buying souvenirs or appreciating art, you'll find what you're looking for.

From an aerial view, it's even more spectacular, like a red ocean. Here, you can take photos to capture this beautiful scene, or chat with local incense makers to learn about the incense drying process and techniques, and feel their dedication and passion for incense-making😉.

The square houses the Incense Culture Museum, which provides a detailed introduction to the history, culture, and development of incense-making in Yongchun, giving you a deeper understanding of Yongchun incense. In addition, there are many incense shops around the square where you can buy authentic Yongchun incense. Yongchun, Quanzhou, is not crowded! Experience the lively atmosphere of the five-mile ancient street
Originally thought it was just a dilapidated ancient street, but I didn't expect the current construction to be quite good, clean, and the houses seem to be the old wooden structures from before, quite retro, very suitable for taking period photos.
The ancient street is a bit far from the county town, and maybe because it's usually not crowded, there are fewer snacks, most of which are popular online snacks, some may be temporary stalls, and the quality of the food really isn't up to par.
This place is only suitable for going to a few local characteristic hot pot stalls at the intersection, the price per person is not expensive, and the taste is quite good, especially recommended is the beef hot pot. If you want to eat Yongchun's special cuisine, it is recommended to go near the food street in the county town, I like white liquor, bitter vegetable and small intestine soup, Penghu meat soup, vinegar pig's feet, white duck soup, Guohua spring rolls (with white sugar added inside, super good).
There are no hairpins on Wuli Street, but there is a Da Ma Department Store· Nyonya Clothing Cultural Experience Center on the street, where you can pay to experience the Malaysian Nyonya clothing experience and Nyonya portrait.
Next to it is Dayu Mountain, where you can drive up the mountain to watch the performance of the White Crane Fist. A day trip can also check in at the Yu Guangzhong Memorial Hall and Dongguan Covered Bridge nearby Yongchun East.

Quanzhou Yongchun, not crowded! Experience the lively atmosphere of Wuli Ancient Street.
Take a stroll down Wuli Ancient Street in Quanzhou Yongchun. I thought it was just an old and dilapidated street, but I didn't expect the current development to be quite good. It's clean, and the houses seem to be the old wooden structures from before, which have a very retro vibe, making it very suitable for taking period photos.
Yongchun - Taoyuan Temple
Taoyuan Temple is located beside the Huancheng Road in Yongchun county town. During the Sui and Tang dynasties, immigrants from the Central Plains built the Zhenwu Palace in Yongchun, which was renamed Taoyuan Temple during the Five Dynasties period, and in the first year of the Jiajing era of the Ming dynasty, it became the Xuan Emperor's palace. It is dedicated to the worship of the Xuan Tian Shang Di, Fa Zhu Gong, Li Gong Yuan Shuai, and the Bodhisattva Guanyin. The temple covers an area of more than 4,000 square meters, with a two-entry earthen and wooden structure, and the main hall features a heavy-eaved Xieshan-style roof. It was renovated in 1985. There are two pieces of Qing dynasty stone carvings remaining.
Yongchun - Wulijie Street
There is no market without Yongchun, and the market is at Wulijie Street. Yongchun, formerly known as 'Peach Blossom Land,' is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese. The saying 'There is no market without Yongchun' still prevails today. Wulijie, an ancient street with a thousand years of history and culture, is a key town in Southern Fujian, recognized as a traditional Chinese village, a historical and cultural famous village, and a historical and cultural district of Fujian Province. Now, after more than five years of protection and restoration, this ancient street, which carries the memories of nostalgia for many overseas Chinese, has undergone a more rational planning of its overall business format and functional layout. The cultural resources of the Maritime Silk Road have been further excavated, and it is now stepping onto the world stage with a brand-new look. Today's Wulijie Street, approximately 590 meters long, has 249 shops on both sides in the style of Nanyang arcade buildings. This ancient street, once renowned in Southern Fujian, has been renovated and is bustling with extraordinary liveliness, recapturing the elegance and charm of the past: hundreds of century-old arcade buildings stand tall on both sides of the street, martial arts halls and art galleries transformed from old houses are open and spacious, and restaurants, cultural and creative bases, and pocket parks are interspersed among them... Wulijie Ancient Street deeply excavates and utilizes the profound historical and cultural heritage of the old street, deeply integrating culture and tourism. In every brick and tile, the beauty of Yongchun's culture is re-presented, awakening the collective memory of Yongchun's citizens and enhancing the sense of cultural belonging. Now, the rejuvenated Wulijie Ancient Street is extraordinarily lively. Tourists walk on Wulijie Ancient Street, stepping on the stone pavement, eating a bowl of special snacks at a small shop at the street corner, strolling and enjoying the scenery between the wooden arcade buildings, smelling the charming sour fragrance at 'Vinegar Lao Mi Xiang,' finding the once-lost history in 'Qiaoyun Wulijie,' 'Gugang Theater,' and 'Xugang Memory,' wandering among the four attractions of 'Dreaming on the Maritime Silk Road,' 'Book Fragrance Literary Garden,' 'Paper Woven into Paintings,' 'He Wu Yongchun,' watching performances with local characteristics, searching for the charm of intangible cultural heritage, and finally, sipping a cup of Buddha's hand green tea at 'Seeking Tea and Asking the Way' has become a daily routine for many locals and a 'favorite' for tourists.

Yongchun, Vinegar Factory and Fragrance City | Attached with a detailed one-day tour guide|||
|||. Yongchun is a county under Quanzhou, adjacent to Putian. Its temperament is not exactly the same as Quanzhou City, comfortable and leisurely, it is one of the four major vinegar-making places in the country, and also the fragrance city. A small county town, one day is enough. If you have more time in Quanzhou, you can come here to experience and feel a different temperament.
Route: Dongguan Bridge - Yongchun Vinegar Factory - Earth Building - Wuli Ancient Street - Kuixing Rock - China Mie Xiang City
1. Yongchun Dongguan Bridge (P3): ⭐⭐⭐
Located in Dongguan Town, Yongchun County, Fujian Province, it is a historic ancient bridge spanning over Dongguan Creek. It is more than 80 meters long and 5 meters wide, with a total of 14 bridge holes. It is the longest ancient wooden arch bridge in Fujian Province.
2. Yongchun Vinegar Factory (p4-6): ⭐⭐⭐⭐
There are many large vinegar jars, 1-2 years, 3-5 years, 5 years and above, as well as a vinegar culture park, full of sourness... Shanxi vinegar emphasizes freshness, Yongchun vinegar is more about aged vinegar, with more flavor. I learned a lot, there is also vinegar-flavored ice cream, sour and refreshing...
3. Yongchun Earth Building (p7): ⭐⭐
Passing by an earth building, it also has a history of more than 200 years and is still under renovation. Compared with the scale of Zhangzhou earth building, it is still a bit small.
4. Wuli Ancient Street (P1-2, 8-12): ⭐⭐⭐⭐
It is still under renovation, you can see that the architecture here is very beautiful and distinctive, but the shops are not open yet, and the dust is a bit big.
There are many "Kotan" (P13) here. If you are tired in the morning, you can just have a meal. I randomly chose one, there was no menu, just brought a pot to heat up with an induction cooker, and then the boss matched the ingredients (lean pork, pork liver, pork large intestine, pork sausage, pork lung, Arhat meat, egg sausage, tofu, fried tofu) to cook in the pot. The meat is very tender and the soup is delicious. The key is not expensive, 25 yuan per person. Of course, you can add some other side dishes, then the price is extra.
I specifically checked, Kotan originated here, and it has a history of two to three hundred years. Wuli Street was busy with commerce during the Qing Dynasty. At that time, businessmen gathered here, surrounded the hot pot to eat meat, and over time, it formed a Kotan similar to hot pot. Because the ingredients will roll in the pot after they are cooked, making a "ko ko ko" sound, which is similar to the pronunciation of "ko" in Minnan dialect, so Kotan got its name.
5. Kuixing Rock (P13-14): ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Wenquxing descended to the world, as soon as you enter, the trees are very dense, the air is particularly good, full of Zen.
6. China Mie Xiang City (p15-17): ⭐⭐⭐⭐
There are many companies here, you can go in and watch them dry the incense. One of the factories, Binda, has set up its own history and culture exhibition hall, which is quite interesting.
