Waking up early to visit the bookstore on Labor Day was definitely the right choice—one fully recharging hour. I was pleasantly surprised to find a new cultural and creative section in the bookstore. There are 🍶📚🖋️🔖🧩🗺️🎨: Yunnan/Yuxi cultural and creative paper-cut lamps, Nie Er comic ballpoint pens, “Fungi” themed ballpoint pens and bags, cultural and creative stamp notebooks, “Yuxi” map fridge magnets, fossil fridge magnets, Yuxi culture reading materials, and more. There were fewer people in the morning, so I picked any spot in the coffee or reading area to sit and read for a while. Energy level: 100%
