The lobster soup was surprisingly light yet packed with flavor, really unique compared to other versions I’ve tried. The calamari was another standout – crisp on the outside but tender and soft inside. Along with their fresh seafood, this meal became my most unforgettable experience in Amsterdam. 📌 Tips 1. Accommodation - Mercure Hotel Amsterdam North Station ✅ Located within a minute's walk from Noord Station. Two stops to Amsterdam Centraal, and from Zuid Station, just one train stop to the airport. Must-Visit Attractions ✅ Rotterdam + Kinderdijk Spend a day exploring these spots. Take the water bus directly to Kinderdijk to see the windmills. The park is an open space with no closing hours, but note that the last water bus back to Rotterdam departs at 18:30 from Kinderdijk. It's more stunning and impressive than Zaanse Schans, highly recommended for those with time. ✅ Anne Frank House A must-visit! The layout is excellent, and audio guides are available (no Chinese version). I managed to buy tickets a week in advance when they were released on the official website. Tickets often show as sold out weeks ahead. ✅ Van Gogh Museum The layout is very well-organized. Renting an audio guide (€4 or less) is highly recommended to better understand Van Gogh's life. ✅ Zaanse Schans If you're short on time and don't want to travel far but still want to see windmills, this is a good option. It's more commercialized and less picturesque compared to Kinderdijk. Must-Try Foods ✅ Winkel 43 Apple Pie A hidden gem not listed on the menu. Served with fresh cream that's not overly rich, priced at €6. ✅ Van Stapele Koekmakerij Cookies Absolutely delicious! They only sell one type of dark chocolate cookie, and the long queues speak to its quality. Fragrant, crumbly, not overly sweet, and guaranteed to lift your mood. ✅ The Pancake Bakery Highly recommend trying Dutch mini pancakes (Poffertjes). Both sweet and savory options are delightful.

Just 15 minutes from Amsterdam! I visited the fairytale-like village of Zaanse Schans. 🚂✨ The scenery of lush meadows, tranquil canals, and windmills is absolutely stunning. 🌿 The Windmill Village, Zaanse Schans In the 18th century, there were over 700 windmills here, and even though only a few remain today, they are still breathtaking! 🥺 I went early in the morning, and it was perfect for enjoying the village peacefully on my own. 🍃 Tips for Enjoying the Village 📝 Essentials: Bring some snacks in advance! 🍪 (Perfect for sitting on a stone bench, enjoying the view while snacking!) Things to See: The village itself is the main attraction! 🏞️ You can also visit the cheese farm, clog factory, and buy souvenirs. 🧀🥾 Photo Spots: Take a lifetime shot in front of the cheese farm or on the bridge with windmills in the background! 📸 Pro Tip: Visit in the morning before the group tourists arrive! ☀️
