Plaza de los Comuneros is a place that you can’t miss if you are in the city of Zipaquira. The city is kind of small so if you are stayin in downtown you can walk everywhere to explore the beautiful streets and colorful architecture. When you arrive, there’s a tour guide to give you background information about the mine, why there is a church inside (basically there are too many accidents inside mines in general so people want God’s presence in the mine with the miners - Colombia is a Catholic country).
