Holiday Inn Express & Suites Evanston

Several children said that fantanstic. Building details and service details are in place. Many flower arrangement, greening, architectural color matching, people are overjoyed. The three service people not only provide services, but also popularize a lot of knowledge about walnuts and rabbit mothers. There are two phases of the homestay, both comfortable. The second phase also has a copy room.
Best Western Dunmar Inn
4.2/599 Reviews
Cute roadside older Best Western eith restaurant attached. Food is good there. Be advised all rooms are outdoor entry. Hotel is ok but needs refurbishing. All the rooms are dark with lights on and the mattresses desperately need replacing. Good for a quick overnight stay but not longer. Outdated AC units allow a lot of outside noise in.
Knights Inn Evanston

They have it all here. Nice rooms, great dinner and breakfast. The friendliest helpful staff. We had steak and shrimp and the yummy omelet and pancakes for breakfast plus delicious drinks in the friendly hometown atmosphere bar. We will be back.

OMG what amazing owners.. I was stranded because of big storm coming thru and when i pulled in i pulled in on the wrong side and the snow was covering the curb and i was stuck and they all came out to help and they finally got me backed out... They gave me a room at the end downstairs and omg !!!! i usually stay at motel 6 and this hotel beats them by a long shot... AMAZING room with a bed with a nice mattress... I would recommend this hotel if your needing a room while traveling.. very nice clean, comfortable and safe place AND ran by a very wonderful family.. i would give more stars if i could.....
Comfort Inn Evanston I-80
3.9/597 Reviews
We chose this Comfort Inn because of the Comfort Inn reputation, complimentary WiFi and breakfast, well-lit parking lot, and because it was close to I-80. The lobby was clean and GM Lorrie was very welcoming. We typically ask to see the room before we stay if we are in an unfamiliar hotel, but we had confidence the rooms would be as nice as the lobby. As we opened our room door, I commented how clean it smelled, but I was horrified that the first thing I saw when we turned on the light was a nasty looking stain on the carpet. Looking from the door to the opposite wall, the entire carpet was filthy and stained. Even though the room seemed clean and the beds were good, this ruined the entire stay. I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect a room where I feel comfortable. We should have asked to be moved to a different room, but we were tired after driving 12 hours and had already settled in with our luggage. As silly as it sounds, I slept in my socks. When I spoke to Lorrie about it the next morning, she apologized and said the carpets are scheduled for replacement this winter. I told her that if we had known how bad they were before we hauled our luggage in, we never would have stayed. If we had been offered a partial refund or some gesture of goodwill, I probably wouldn’t even be leaving this review. This is not a critique of Lorrie, because I understand she could only do so much. Moral of the story: Never assume; ask to see your room.
