Due to flight delays and re-routing from Bali to Perth to Adelaide instead of Bali to Adelaide direct, I arrived too late to check in, so I did not get to stay there. However my communications with them prior to the potential delay were polite and they tried as best as possible to accommodate potential late arrival but it was after midnight by the time I cleared Adelaide airport.

We booked for 3 nights, great value the room is small but sufficient for a few nights, kettle , microwave and fridge . It’s an older place but our room was lovely and clean the managers are super friendly and you can see they are trying to make a good go at it. I would certainly stay here again when we are in the Barossa , it’s not 5 star but it worked well for us. I would recommend it if you are doing just a couple days. Easy to the freeway to Adelaide , very hot day so they left our aircon running so we didn’t have a hot room. Great spot

Perfect location for our drive Perth to Melbourne, easy access from and to the highway. Spacious, clean room with table, couch, TV, aircon and very comfortable bed. Ensuite a little outdated but the room had been freshened up. We had trouble connecting to the wifi. The restaurant was closed on our visit but we ordered room service and enjoyed our meal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Be aware that while there is a 'late check-in' window, a sign on the door said that reception hours had changed to 8am - 8pm (when we booked the site said it was open all night... it might be wise to check ahead if you're likely to be later) Good, clean accommodation. We had a good stay.

Booked two nights and if it wasn’t for a late after hours arrival we wouldn’t have even stayed one night. Room was dirty with even toothpaste in sink. Bathroom had a very strong smell of mould it made our eyes itch. Room was stuffy with no ventilation and had a horrible smell. Roof tiles lifted. Lamps next to bed with no plug so didn’t even work. Woke next morning with bloodshot eyes, headaches and stuffy nose.

Well situated on the junction of the road into the centre of town and a bypass road to the western end of town, Ceduna Motor Inn provided us with clean if dated rooms with a bit more space than some other places on this trip. This Motel has it' s own dining room with a basic breakfast included in the cost. On a miserable weather night, being able to eat in-house was a bonus.The food was basic tasty pub. There are pet friendly rooms which are well separated from non-pet rooms. Car parks at the room door.

The shower had mould all on the bottom of the floor there was mould in and around the fridge and the seal of the fridge! As you walked into the room straight away could tell the floor wasn’t all that clean and the walls were extremely dirty also had ants and smelt as if the room had not been opened up and/or aired out

After living in the hotel for three weeks, I can say that I am going to be a master. The rooms are large and well-equipped. The location is very good, the bus arrives at the airport, the hotel is next to Glenelg Beach, and it takes about a few minutes to get to the beach. The harbor branch at the doorway stopped a lot of boats. The weather in July was very cold in the morning and evening, and it was hot at noon. The sky is blue, and the sea is also. The hotel goes to outlet, IKEA, the airport is very convenient, there are buses in all directions; it is also very convenient to go to the city, in most cases we choose the bus or the tram on the beach. Along the way there are big lawns and houses with garages, everything is fresh. There are a lot of foods near the hotel. There is a high-price seafood buffet. Go over 1-2mins and recommend to eat at noon on weekdays. The price is cheap. Walking 4-5mins towards the beach is a row of restaurants facing the harbour, with the best oysters and a variety of fresh ingredients. The city’s restaurant wine is said to be a major feature. Going a little further to the beach is the lively pedestrian street. The tram is slowly smashing on the road, with ice cream shops and various gourmet shopping shops on both sides. Adelaide in July was winter, still cold, didn't go swimming in the pool, but the pool looked clean. There is no embarrassment in this city, only a steady life and a fireworks atmosphere.

Ordinary motel, the facilities are a bit old, there is a distance from the beach, it is estimated to take about 20 minutes to walk. The key is that there is always a damp and moldy smell in the room, and it is the same if you change a room. It is estimated to be a common phenomenon. A month in Australia, is the most uncomfortable hostel in Melbourne and Adelaide. Not recommended.

We booked a Riverview Balcony Villa at the Berri Hotel via the Riverland revival voucher scheme from SA Tourism. We found our stay overpriced and were not impressed, considering what we paid. First the good bits. Location - we were located right opposite the River Murray The view was lovely. As was the weather The villas are fairly new and of good size, with seperate living & bedroom with a good sized bathroom with walk-in shower. 2 tvs handy wireless phone chargers next to the bed. Replenished daily “mini bar” (a few cans, water and chips nothing much! Didn’t get the mini wine replaced for some reason!) The food served at the dining room of the hotel was all nice and even though very busy was served quickly. (Book for dinner) The restaurant staff are a mixture of nice polite and helpful to rude and insolent. Tip - despite there being a scan order and pay facility on the tables (and in the rooms) it doesn’t send the orders. It will take your money! The staff know this but for some unknown reason they have not put any signs saying do not use. Apparently it’s your fault when you use them! And a big inconvenience to the staff when you do! Breakfast is included in the stay but only certain items from the menu. You can upgrade some items. But a difference of $3 on the menu becomes $4.50 on the till! You also get served tea as a cup of hot water and an opened tea bag sachet! No teapots or sealed sachets apparently. There is a pool, however it had the same goose/duck droppings in it for the entire 3 days we were there! So the area is not cleaned! Yuck! The Riverview villas are in blocks of 4 units. 2 up and 2 down. Would be nice if they had doorbells. They have outside lighting but if left on would stay in all day as they do not have light sensors. Not very energy efficient No recycling bins anywhere again not very green! The rooms are sp****ly furnished with low quality flooring. A sofa bed with no bedding. A kitchen with only cutlery (we had to buy a knife to cut things) no cloth to wash up or clean or spare bin liners. A microwave but no bbq. The dinning area was a sad looking table and 2 chairs. The room lights were either all on or off. It needs a side table and a lamp. There is Air-con in both the living and bedroom but no remote. Which was irritating at night having to get out of bed to turn it on/off. The sliding door to the balcony had a very flimsy poor quality lock. There was a missing light globe in the bathroom. The most annoying thing was the toilet. After each flush someone had to go outside and reset the pump. After twice going to reception and waiting to have it reset I asked the maintenance man what to do and did it myself for the rest of our stay. Why we were given the room with the faulty toilet (there were others available) or not moved, when it was reported is beyond me! A fully functioning toilet is an essential feature! I stayed at the Old Mill for work. Admittedly, I did choose the cheapest room, but it really wasn’t much good. Whilst the basic nature of the room was bearable, it was a few other factors that made the stay a little disappointing. Firstly, bedheads in the rooms are against the shared wall and the walls are thin. Lest say you can hear everything from the amorous couple next door (first night) and the screaming child at 5am (second night). Also, the decorative lights outside the rooms/ part of the street frontage are on all night and the room curtains are not block out material. Hence the rooms are quite bright, even with the spare blankets draped in the windows. I’d suggest if you’re considering staying at the Old Mill, book one of the other courtyard rooms or ask for a room not next to anyone else.

The room was comfy; The TV was a good size; The bed was a king size & good to sleep on. We had a buffet breakfast & dinner each day. The staff managed to keep up the service. The food was ok. The staff was extremely busy & run off their feet. A big thank you to Christian & Jane for looking after us. The site is the perfect location. Close to the city & landmarks. An ideal base to travel from to tourist destinations. We loved it.

Although staff at reception were friendly and helpful, management need to allocate more resources to cleaning (as I’m sure the limited staff do what they can with the time they are allocated to clean each room). The state of my room was disappointing to say the least. Rubbish was left from the previous occupier in the bathroom cupboard and with the tea/coffee supplies. The floor looked like it had not been vacuumed. The thick layer of dust along the top of the bed head was unbelievable. It was warm in the room but the ceiling fan was filthy and therefore I didn’t want to use it. Thankfully the toilet, shower and bedsheets were clean but I honestly thought about leaving within 5 minutes of my arrival! The small on-site parking is handy, but it’s tricky to manoeuvre into and only available if you’re in early. The website photo of the executive room suggests it overlooks the park. Sadly, a view of the car park was for us, but the good thing about this was that it reduced the noise from the street. I will not stay at Ensenada again. I will avoid Glenelg as well - too noisy (late night bars), too busy, and quite grubby overall.

It was a very average room,bit smelly but in terms of of price affordable and the room is good only if you have no where else to go.

The Vine Inn is just fantastic. We stayed there for two nights, the motel rooms are great, spacious clean and quiet. The restaurants in the hotel are just wonderful and the staff are fantastic, very helpful and friendly. This place would have to be a jewel in the Barossa Valley, highly recommend you pay them a visit.
