The hotel is in the center of the town. It may be the relationship between the peak season and the region, and the price is low. There is no small kitchen to cook. It was only because it was free and convenient to park and only stayed for one night.
Fantastic place to stay ,very friendly and welcoming. It's the best time away in so long & we will be returning asap. The rooms are very clean and quite large and the beds are comfortable. It's so close to town you can walk in no time. Breakfast is normally offered but covid has changed these things but hopefully next time it will be on again as it was a full continental breakfast on offer which is great. Stephen G.
Wonderful Motel
Truly inspiring and they set a lot of unique examples. Netflix in each room, lights from Shower and a bin for recycle stuffs. Wow, they are really good.
The last stop on the Great Ocean Road, we headed back to Melbourne. First of all, there are not many choices in this town, so I chose this hotel. It is more like a hotel than a hotel. In the end, I paid 500+ cash back on Ctrip for the stay. It is not expensive in Australia, but the stay is average.
There was no front desk at this hotel, no one was there to greet us, and there was no service. We didn’t know who to call if we wanted anything. We arrived very late, and then we waited in the cold for 30 minutes without knowing how to get in, and we didn’t receive anything. Check-in code, it’s too bad that the hotel phone can’t be reached. Then there was no hot water, which made us wash with cold water. We were really speechless.
Clean, comfortable room. Very close to the beach. Went to take pictures of the sunrise in the morning. The lady boss was very welcoming! There was also a box of milk in the refrigerator. Very satisfying experience
The location is very good, not far from the main road. It is a very unique motel with its own decoration style.
The front desk is also very welcoming, and there is a lot of food around. Highly recommended!
had a great experience staying at this motel! The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short stay for its cheap price. After checking out, they kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at the front desk so we could explore the area without carrying everything around. That small gesture made a big difference in our day. It's rare to find that kind of thoughtfulness and flexibility. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for affordable comfort with genuinely helpful service!
Older! Because I have never been to this place, I know that this hotel is far from the departure point. It is not convenient. There are not many restaurants nearby! The hotel is also clean!
It is more suitable for temporary need to stay for one night, and the next day to leave early. It is indeed a very ordinary motel. There are no attractions around. The facilities are very simple and ordinary. Fortunately, it is relatively clean. The bed is quite comfortable. There is no kitchen. There is a microwave oven and a small toast oven. Simple tableware.

Great
GGuest UserParking is convenient, and the space is large enough for families with two adults and three children. The grandma at the counter is so kind and enthusiastic about service. Because it was very cold when we arrived, we felt that the heating was not enough, so we asked for extra blankets. Grandma specially asked for them. He came to our room to help us adjust the electric blanket. He was very caring. There are many Chinese restaurants nearby, which can satisfy Chinese stomachs. It is a quiet area in the middle of the noise. It is worth recommending.
GGuest UserConveniently located, competatively priced and great pick up and drop off service to/from airport. Clean room and friendly staff. Nothing to complain about.
TThomasAnother amazing stay at Sandors! We love how it’s within walking distance to the cinema, supermarket and Working Man’s Club! Great breakfast included and the friendliest of staff. Cya again very soon!!!
GGuest UserAndrew and Michelle were lovely and very friendly, gave us great advice on takeaway fish and chips for dinner and even better directions, would not have found it without them. Room was exceptionally clean with everything you need for short stay. Comfortable, spacious and even had a bonus electric blanket. Keep up the good work 😊
EExploring our one precious worldWe stayed one night at the Sandpiper Motel in Apollo Bay during peak season. On the positive side, the room was exceptionally clean, and the embroidered details on the bedding, pillow slips, and face towel were a lovely touch that added a sense of care and thoughtfulness to the decor.
However, our stay was not without its issues. Room 5; Throughout the night, there was a persistent high-pitched noise whenever water was used in our block of rooms, which disrupted our sleep, not helpful if you are a light sleeper. This was particularly disappointing given the cost of over 500 NZD for one night.
Additionally, while the self-check-in process was efficient, the lack of any staff presence left the motel feeling impersonal and made it impossible to seek assistance when needed. For example, there was no way to address the plumbing issue or request additional items like more face towels during our stay.
While we appreciated the cleanliness and the attention to detail in the room design, these other factors made the experience less enjoyable than we had hoped. We hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.
GGuest UserThe room is spacious, well-equipped, and the sanitary environment and service are excellent. It is worth visiting. If you can't sleep at night, there is a *** on the first floor for entertainment.
GGuest UserWe arrived during check in time to find the office unattended and another traveller trying to contact them by phone.
After a 15 minute wait someone came to the office. They checked us in but when we went to the room and opened the door there was a very surprised man in there who had also been given this room.
Another phone call and wait time for staff to return and sort out another room. We finally got there but after a long drive and both wanting to use the bathroom we found there was no toilet paper in the room.. that took another 2 phone calls and about 15 minutes to sort out.
I booked this accommodation because it has a swimming pool. I went to use the pool to find it was locked and after another call was told that they think the filter is broken. Nothing on their information said the pool was not available and it appears it has been that way for a while.
We loved the location and I'd probably stay there again.. I'll just be prepared for the lack of quality service. We didn't let it spoil our stay..
QQingmanqiantangThis motel is very close to the Twelve Apostles parking lot. The yard is large and there are two alpacas. The hotel receptionist is a handsome Chinese man, communication is barrier-free. I booked it through Ctrip and the check-in procedure was very simple. There is a microwave, refrigerator and toaster in the room.
