I had a really wonderful time in the great location of Beechworth.  From Beechworth I drove to other great points of interest namely Yackandandah and Bright. I walked along the Canyon Walk in Bright, followed along the Beechworth Gorge and the Woolshed Falls.  The Sambell Lake had a very good walking track around it. Both Beechworth and Yackandandah had great shops and eateries. The Armour Motor Inn was very central for my 3 day stay and the host was very helpful.

Great location for our purposes, dated but very clean, staff friendly and helpful, really the only negatives I could mention were the shower water pressure was low and the shower was missing a wall mounted soap dish. Other than that was great!

Very good town, the equipment is old, the location is convenient.

Choose carefully. All aspects of the accommodation are OK, it should be noted that the hotel has a side of the road is a cemetery.

Facilities: Not bad, average, very simple and primitive Hygiene: Not bad, just a spider web Environment: OK. There are really kangaroos walking around. Service: OK If it is not a 24-hour front desk, you must pay attention to the latest check-in time. It is OK. No major flaws. The price is very touching. Really.

It's a budget motel if you look at the price, but every time I stay there it never fails to deliver. It's also the end of town I want to stay in. Has everything I need and it's well maintained. I have paid substantially more and received substantially less. All the best to Main Hotel and here's to many more years of operation.

Very nice staff, but the room was too simple for our taste. What - in addition to the very small bathroom - was particularly nervous was the lack of clothes. This was almost integrated in the kitchen line and completed with all sorts of stuff - so we couldn't put out or hang off anything and had to ”live out of the bag”. Concluded: For one night on the journey (as with us) OK, but no longer.

A clean quiet older style motel, well-managed and excellent value. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and live on site. The rooms have a small fridge which is very handy and a split air conditioner which also works as an effective heater. Parking is outside your door and the WIFI is fast and reliable. We would happily stay here again.

Accomodation was spacious and very clean. The room was incredibly quiet and we had a great night’s sleep. It was also great to stay somewhere that had a spacious bathroom and not an afterthought bathroom. Bonuses for us were having a sofa and a dining suite as well as a microwave. Reception were helpful and friendly . Thank you for a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

The friendly welcome really stood out. The room was clean and basic. The bed was very comfortable and a great selection of pillows. The gardens are vast and the location is amongst trees. A very enjoyable stay.
