This was a very clean place and breakfast was good I would recommend anyone to stay here if your ever in town needing a nice, quite m, peaceful place to stay while you're in town

The equipment is very new, the sanitation is very good, it is close to the highway, the noise is a bit loud, but the sound insulation of the room is not bad. The sound of the air conditioner is also very small, so I slept well. It is relatively comfortable in a motel hotel. The location is very convenient. Not far from China Town and the city center. No napkins. There is a problem with the design of the bathroom room, with transparent glass and a mirror facing the bed. The quilt was very thin, so I asked the front desk for another bed. Breakfast is not considered breakfast. Ask the front desk, if there is no breakfast, it is just bagged cakes and fruits for customers. This price is relatively high cost performance.

We love staying here it's right in the middle of town there's everything around it very busy area.

Two words to sum up: RUN and HORRIBLE! I really don't even know where to start from. We booked this hotel at almost $80 a night but it was not worth even a penny. We pulled in late at night and there was a group of suspicious people right in front of the office. In fact there were a lot of shady people pretty much all around the property. I still held into my nerves and start looking for the office. Office was dark and the door was locked. One suspicious lady even told me to leave and that office is closed at night. I knew her information was not accurate and start looking for any signs for after hours check in. There was a small note on the front door to check in with the side window if the door is locked. I went to the side window and it was shut, locked and dark. There was a ringer outside on a broken dented wall and was not working. Of course by this time I had a lot of attention from unwanted people just hanging and walking within the property. I knocked on the window for sometime before finally somebody turned the lights on from inside and open the window. My room was on the third floor and with small kids and bags it was a huge hassle to take stairs. I was told that elevator was not working and when I looked at the elevator I knew why. It looked like somebody blew it up as it was literally ripped apart. The whole hotel was dirty and filthy as there were trash everywhere and all over. We went to our room and it was barely livable. Walls had dent, hole, and water leak markings. Refrigerator was dirty as hell and the floor was sticky as honey. Stove and its knobs were all broken and I was so afraid to even touch it to avoid any possible gas leak disaster. Restroom was extremely small and literally had a kid size broken sink. Bathroom was small and only had a one small soap. There was no shampoo or conditioner. Only two towels were provided for the entire family size room. Both towels had stains and were dirty. Air condition worked but was loud and noisy. I went downstairs to get more towels and after a lot of question and answer I was given some and even those had holes and stains! Of course they had no return/refund policy regardless of the reason so moving out after paying a hefty price was not an option for me. My entire stay was very uncomfortable and I didn't feel safe at all. Thank god that nothing happened to me or my car and I got out in 1 piece. This hotel needs a complete renovation from bottom up. First and foremost, security needs to be tightened up and they need to get rid of suspicious people. Wish I can give zero star!

My stay was great,even if it was for just one night,i enjoyed the rest,the service was great,the lady at the front desk was very proffesional,did a great job to make us feel welcome,made sure to ask me,uf there was anything i needed to just call the front desk,i would recommend this hotel ,and trip app, to get the best prices,thank you for making us feel welcome,and we will come back and recommend you guys to ourfriends & family

It was a very spacious room. That's the biggest plus to it. The staff is pretty friendly. The location is right by quick trip so it is pretty convient. Only negative thing was there needed to be new light bulbs in the closet because you can't see anything if u put stuff in there.

If the sleep is estimated to be a bit noisy, I feel that it is okay after living for 6 days. The only thing I am not happy with is that the breakfast content is too small, but the price is cheap and acceptable.

Clean rooms (even the carpet)- A/C works good- plenty hot water- quiet (no loud guest)- safe area in Houston- free parking- convenience store / Restaurant(s) /Bars all within walking distance. Very close to Washington Street with numerous great Restaurants and night life. And affordable.

Since it is a motel at reasonable prices, I am surprised for comfort, cleaning and care of the rooms. Large and free parking. Educated and friendly staff. Finally USB takes on the comforts to load the smartphone. In a strategic position, I recommend it at 100 percent

So.. generally I don't really think twice when I check into a hotel but today I had to take notice of Andrea she was efficient attentive but most importantly effective. She went out of her way to turn my day around. Thanks Andrea for the great tip and insights on our way to save on a delicious lunch at a nearby venue! With my savings not even including my reading rewards discounts I just made book another night thanks red roof!

When we arrived at the hotel we were instantly regretting booking a room at this location. The hotel looks like the tower of terror from the Disney movie. We were the only guest. We had tremendous issues checking in even with our Hotels.com reservation. Upon entering our room we realize there were absolutely no towels or hygiene products the hairdryer was just hanging off the wall by one screw. There were cigarette burns all over the bed as well as hair long black hair leaving us wondering if the bed had even been cleaned. The television did not work except for one channel that showed five trailers for on-demand movies which weren’t even available. Almost all of the dressers and knobs in the room were broken off there were stains all over the carpet and it smelt dirty. Thank God we had a concert to go to that evening so we didn’t have to spend much time in the room but the time spent in the room was the worst experience ever. The next morning before we checked out I received an email from Hotels.com asking why I had missed my reservation the hotel never even confirmed that I arrived and paid for my room. Which ruins getting a credit for my rewards for hotels.com during that stay. I would definitely avoid this hotel even at the cheap price cars are sure to get broken into here because there is no security and there’s only ever one staff member at all times

A hurricane hit Houston in early July and my uncle, who's in a wheelchair, did not have electricity. I searched online and this hotel showed availability. I called to book the reservation because I wanted to make sure the room would be wheelchair accessible. The person on the phone spent a lot of time getting the reservation set up and then informed me they won't take a third party payment (I couldn't pay for my uncle since I wasn't staying in the room). I explained that he didn't have a credit card and he needed a place to stay since his house was hot. They suggested calling the hotel directly (I had called the number on their website, but they gave me a different number) or booking online. Nobody answered when I called, but since the website showed availability, I booked online. I got my uncle an Uber and they drove him the 9.3 miles to the hotel - and it was CLOSED. My uncle called me and I had to book a return trip to his house. So we're out nearly $60 and it was a waste of his time (though he got to sit in an air-conditioned car for an hour). I know times were difficult because the hurricane had hit, and it's reasonable that they would be without power and need to be closed. But how hard would it have been to put a message on their phone and turn off the reservations on their site? They had to know that people were desperate to find a hotel room, and I'm guessing he probably wasn't the only one who ran into this issue.

Convenient location. Friendly staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. AC works great but noisy if you are a light sleeper. Pictures on hotel VERY MISLEADING. They must have been taken when they opened because a lot of it is not like that now. Room pictures are pretty much accurate but furniture has seen better days. Picture of breakfast is not what you get at all. Picture says ”Assorted Cereal, Fruit, Milk, Breakfast Sandwiches and pancakes, Muffins, Assorted Juices, and coffee. Looks nice. DON'T BELIEVE IT !! What we got was oa**eal, cereal, milk, Juice, coffee, Cup of Noodles, white bread and butter but no jelly, a honeybun, and small snack bag pf chocolate chip cookies. Slush machine ”out of order”. Ice machine does not work. Soooo disappointed as our stay was for 6 days.

First off, I felt unsafe and that my car might be vandalized. With the exception of checking out, I find the staff to be extraordinarily rude. Before you think I'm Karening, I came to check in at 2:15 (admittedly my fault for not knowing the time or that check in was at 3:00). After waiting about 5 minutes while two staff members argued in the back room, the woman came out and when I said I was there to check in, she angry-sarcastically asked ”Did someone tell you to come in here because check in is at 3. Is it 3? No, it's not”. When I asked if there was something close that I could do for 40 minutes she just said no. When I asked if there was a place nearby to eat she said no, but you can drive around to find something. When I opened my room, the smell hit me like a physical blow. I wish I could photograph a smell!!! The last person must have been there a long, long time (in guessing many months) and chain smoked in it the entire time. My asthma was instantly flared (didn't have my inhaler with me, which made it worse). I immediately went back and said the room is so smoky and she said she knew and that's why I didn't get charged a deposit but there were no other rooms. I immediately went to buy cleaning supplies and air fresheners. I spent hours washing down all surfaces and walls and floor. It never really made a dent in m how bad the room reeked. I put several air fresheners on the air unit to help more. It didn't. The room was filthy. Two of the three entry door locks were broken and the door jamb was broken, like someone had kicked the door in at one point. The outside of the refrigerator was beyond nasty. The back of the toilet didn't have the right lid. The mirror was not above the sink but to the side so you had to stand against the toilet to see yourself to get ready in the morning. The bathtub didn't hold water for a bath so I had to cut off part of a bread wrapper and hold it with my heel. The toilet paper holder was loose in the wall and the toilet paper fell off every time. The toilet paper roll was almost empty on my arrival (it had 9 squares left). I was there for 8 days and never once got new towels or wash cloth. One washcloth, one hand towel and one towel was all I ever had. They also never took the trash out. The groceries I put in the refrigerator on day one froze overnight, completely ruining two crispers full of salad, fruits and veggies. The bed was like sleeping on a board. It was difficult to even get comfortable enough to fall asleep and I was in extreme pain every morning when I woke up. The pillows were comfortable, but that's it. I'm pretty sure the bedding came from the Dollar Store (if so, they over paid). There were no hangers in the closet at all. There's also no dresser, just two shelves. There was a full kitchenette but no toaster, stove, silverware, plates, bowls or glasses. I had to go buy them all for my 8 day stay. I think the pictures tell a better story of this nightmare. Btw, I travel a LOT and neve

Very spacious room with microwave and a good size fridge (King Size Bed room). Very clean as well. They honor their room reservations unlike the other hotels in the surrounding area. Never had a problem with Super 8 hotels especially this one.

The stay was very comfortable. Very good location, close to Walmart and Dennys. Staff is very kind and polite.Rooms are modern and clean.I would like to thank you guys for providing such a good stay especially during this time.

Really clean, meticulously kept hotel. Alex is super friendly and readily available. Highly recommend! The breakfast area is clean and food/beverages are consistently replenished. Honestly, given the price point, you can't be disappointed. Plenty of free parking, too, and close to DFW airport (about 15 mins).
