Day 1 | Krka National Park and overnight near Plitvice Meet up go to the meeting point on your ownView meeting point 10:00 Explore Krka National Park Walk the trails and boardwalks around Skradinski Buk with your local tour leader. Take in the waterfalls, river scenery and historic watermills, with time for photographs and the stories behind the landscape. Swimming is prohibited inside Krka National Park. 14:00 Free time by the river in Skradin Enjoy free time in Skradin for lunch, a relaxed walk or a drink by the river. When local conditions and timing allow, you may swim at the Skradin river area outside Krka National Park. Lunch is not included. 18:30 Dinner and overnight near Plitvice Lakes Continue north to the Plitvice Lakes area, check in for one comfortable overnight stay and sit down to an included locally prepared dinner. Relax with the group and get ready for an early start in the national park the next morning. |
Day 2 | Early Plitvice Lakes visit and return to Split 07:00 Breakfast and an early start Begin the morning with the included breakfast at your accommodation. Your tour leader will outline the day’s walking route and help the group get moving early, before the park reaches its busiest period. 08:00 Explore Plitvice Lakes before the crowds Follow the wooden boardwalks and lakeside trails through Plitvice Lakes National Park with your local tour leader. See clear lakes, forest scenery and a succession of waterfalls while making the most of the quieter morning hours. Swimming is prohibited inside Plitvice Lakes National Park. Return to Split After the park visit, settle back into the coach for the return journey to Split.
