The apartment is very clean, spacious and with nice view. Bed and linens are generous. Location is also spot on! Not too crowded so get to own the pool multiple times! Though, pool was not heated as expected to be solar-heated? Could just be for winter times.
There was only a microwave in the kitchen, but we went downstairs to cook. The service was pretty good and the stay was very comfortable, but there was no toilet in the room. The room I booked did not have a toilet, but a public toilet. But I gave him a good review because of his service.
The room is not big, the bed is very soft, the hygiene is average, there is nothing around, it is difficult to eat and buy things, and there is no service. Overall, it is not worth the price and I will not stay again.
Clare Country Club is a good option to stay at in Clare Valley even if you are not a golfer. It is a short drive from the heart of Clare town which has several good dining options such as The Bentleys Hotel which has a decent pub, dine-in restaurant and a bottle shop. The Antidote restaurant in Clare is a popular choice serving fusion cuisine. The wineries and cellar doors of Clare Valley are all within close proximity. Rooms look out onto lawns and have outdoor tables and chairs to enjoy your morning coffee. The hotel does not serve dinner on Sundays. A small bottle of wine, chocolates and crisps are provided complimentary. Parking is free and close to the rooms which makes it easy to load/unload luggage.
There are four bedrooms with five beds in total. They are not located in the same room type as other rooms, but in the farm across the road. The scenery is nice. The grass is green in winter. It will be even more beautiful if the sun is shining. The steak tastes good and the desserts are delicious. We only stayed for one night. If you like this kind of atmosphere, it is also a good choice to stay for a few days.
We love the location! It is so close to the bay. We can easily walk to shops, restaurants, playgrounds, and the jetty. We definitely enjoyed the breakfast and will come back in spring.
The room was very nice and clean. The family room was very big. 45 square meters. The facilities were very new. Very cozy. The front desk was very friendly. Slow-paced life. The price was also quite good. The breakfast was a meal bag with a milk, a juice, 2 pieces of crisps and a bag of cereal. The bathroom was completely separated into dry and wet areas.
The biggest drawback is that it is too noisy near the main street. The traffic is so noisy that I can't even get a good night's sleep as I keep listening to the traffic whizzing by outside.
Booked two rooms, and they were very considerate to help adjust the room to the next door, avoiding inconvenience between family members. The location is very good, right by the sea, and there is a playground nearby, suitable for parents and children. The bathroom is relatively small, the Italian restaurant downstairs is very good, and the welcome gift is very nice

FFredOzwalking distance to Rundle mall. the hotel is nice ad the room are clean.
SSHANThe location is near the vineyards of the winery, the environment is not bad, the overall is not very big but the layout is very good. There are sheep, goats and chickens and ducks raised by the owner in the Park. The host and aunt are very kind and very nice, the service is very attentive, and the price is very high
GGuest UserWe arrived on a very hot day and the air-con was already on, which is a big plus. Although the room is rather basic, it is very clean and the bed comfortable. Location at Nuriootpa is central for visiting different places in Barossa.
GGuest UserNo car park attached to hotel, have to drive to car park yourself or pay $55 for a chauffeur to drive it. Room service menu was fancy stuff from the downstairs restaurant. Nothing simple. Not even room service breakfast available. On the note of the restaurant downstairs this is where the “buffet” breakfast was and I use that term loosely. Shocking variety. Even have to do our own coffees right in a tiny corner of the the room. One coffee at a time while the line gets bigger. We have to get a special order for eggs because the scrambled eggs are just mush. At least the toaster worked. And the space fits maybe 20 which is fine for a B&B but not for a 16 floor hotel. We had to have breakfast at 8 to avoid the crowds waiting at 9 and later. In the room itself (we had a suite), there were light switches EVERYWHERE. And they were all so confusing as you couldn’t see what they said. Then the one in the bathroom you had to walk in and close the door to access it. No fan ventilation for showers. Bath mats being so thin gets immediately soaked after one shower. No face washers. Bench was too low for a bathroom. Hand towels way too low. The size of the bathroom was nice though and the shower pressure was good. TV remote didn’t work properly, could not find all amenities like coffee, tea, fridge even etc. No nice hotel guide folder to help us out. The “desk” was the tv cabinet when there was plenty of space in the lounge area to have a desk. Then we had a balcony with no chairs or table to sit at (can easily have some out there and bolt them down for safety). The temperature stuff don’t even get me started. Uncomfy beds and flat pillows. I ended up sleeping on the lounger as it was more comfortable.
I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great. The staff were nice though which was a nice change
YYYHKandMACAUThe location is excellent, right by Glenelg Beach. Supermarkets and restaurants are all within a 5-10 minute walk. Driving to Adelaide city center or the airport takes only 15 to 30 minutes. The hotel also has a casino and a bar where you can enjoy a drink or try your luck. While the hotel shows its age a bit, it's clean and the rooms are spacious enough. Breakfast was just average, with limited food choices, but the view was lovely. The paid parking lot is not in the same building as the hotel; it's across the street, about 30 steps away, so you'll need to carry your luggage over.
GGuest UserThis is a great location and i enjoyed my stay albeit a couple of niggles. The shape of the room meant the TV was so far away from the bed. It seemed positioned perfectly to watch TV from the bath, but id rather have a comfortable viewing from the bed. It also meant two of us squeezed on to one side of the b
Bed to be able to see the TV. The mattress was also uncomfortable and clearly needs replacing. It sloped one side and had a big bump in the centre.
Overall a good hotel but I wouldn't stay in that specific room again.
AAnonymous UserWe stayed at Franklin Apartments twice during our trip to Adelaide. The location is convenient with restaurants on Leigh Street to the north and China Town to the south both easily accessible within a 10 minute walk. It has a Rose Bagels restaurant on the Ground floor accessible from the lobby which is highly regarded and was taken over by new owners during our stay in November 2025. Entrance to the hotel is from Bentham street which has a few on street parking spots which are great if you can get them for free overnight parking. The apartments are spacious with a full kitchen, living/dining areas and laundry facilities. The first apartment we stayed at also had a separate study area which was great for getting some work done.
GGuest UserGot a free room upgrade, and it was the biggest room I've had on this Australia trip. The location is great, right at the entrance to Chinatown, with tons of dining and shopping options nearby. The only downside is the parking. The hotel's paid parking lot is quite a distance away, so I had to park there and it was a hassle getting back and forth to the hotel. Valet parking also required a wait. There are some paid 3-hour parking spots on either side of the hotel that become free after 9:00 PM, but you have to get lucky to snag one.
CCharing CConvenient location to go sightseeing, veryclosely with Rundle Mall and airport. However, the cuisine for dinner is too salty, can improve for changing the menu.
Overall, good to stay at the hotel even though the room rate is a bit higher than weekdays as football event held at the Oval Stadium.
