We had an absolutely AMAZING TIME! From our airport pick up (which I recommend). Even though it was 2am we were still greeted with fantastic Hibiscus tea from Edres he was fantastic. We were shown around even at that time. In the morning we asked for a call to see the sunrise and that was fantastic as well. In the morning we had a great typical breakfast and then a fantastic tour as well. Rowan and Aya also were wonderful. I would recommend this place to see the true Aswan and tour the Nubian Village. Also, the lunch was fantastic as well. Next time we want to spend more time. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

I recently stayed a few days at the Aswan Citymax Hotel, and here are my thoughts. First, the building and room interiors generally have an older feel. It's not flashy or equipped with the latest facilities, and the furniture and decor leaned towards a classic style. However, the impression of being dated didn't translate into discomfort. Rather, the calm, aged atmosphere felt quite charming. What I particularly liked was the cleanliness. The room floors, bedding, and bathroom were all meticulously maintained, with no visible dust or stains. The towels were fluffy and well-arranged, making for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was also impressive. While not extravagant or exceptionally delicious, the food wasn't heavily seasoned and had a mild flavor, making it easy to enjoy without feeling overwhelmed. The spice aromas weren't strong, making it suitable for breakfast. There was also a good selection of bread, fruits, and simple hot dishes, making it convenient to choose from. Personally, I prefer plain, unflavored tastes that aren't too sweet or salty, and if you share that preference, you'll likely be satisfied. The staff were friendly, and the check-in process was smooth. The accessibility to nearby attractions is also decent, making it a good value-for-money option if you're planning to tour Aswan. Initially, I was a bit concerned about the old exterior, but thanks to the immaculate upkeep, I felt comfortable throughout my stay. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel, to the point where I'd consider returning.

The room decor feels a bit dated, but it was incredibly clean, which made for a great stay! The shuttle boat runs frequently, and there's parking at the dock, making arrivals and departures very convenient. Breakfast and dinner options were fairly standard, but sufficient. Our room, 506, had a balcony facing the east bank of the Nile, which was not sunny and offered a fantastic view. Overall, highly recommended! 👍👍

The hotel is located in a rather remote area, making it a good stopover for those driving. The breakfast was poor, with nothing particularly appealing. The water park was closed, and the surrounding environment was unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend it for families with children.

I’m trying to write this review to be fair to everyone who wants to book this hotel, first of all the hotel wasn’t clear on which room I have booked even though I showed them my room details which is nile view but again never got the room i had to pay around 20 USD extra per day to get the nile view, second the location is odd and confusing even for locals especially if I order a ride I can’t get them to come to the hotel’s entrance, sometimes I had to walk up to them, yet after that the staff were nothing short of accommodating and super especially musa the receptionist and Mohammed the handyman, the food is so and so but ppl are accommodating and super.

This is a very contradictory B&B hotel that I don't know if it is worth recommending. Its shortcomings and advantages are very prominent. It is suitable for Internet celebrities to make photos (the following photos are all original photos without retouching), but it is not suitable for anyone who has certain requirements for ”accommodation” itself. If you can find any cheap + clean + similar scenery alternative hotel, it is recommended to change it, but if it is just for taking pictures and scenery, it may be ranked at the top in Nubian Village. First of all, you have to be able to tolerate: 1. The hotel price is not cost-effective in the peak season, and the B&B offers the price of a five-star hotel. 2. Poor room facilities, rough-style furniture and narrow rooms, worrying bed sheets, bathroom shower water overflowing and drainage is useless, no slippers, toothbrushes, hair dryers (phone front desk can provide). 3. The breakfast is self-service and extremely simple and unpalatable, unlike some people who commented on the set and inexplicably praised it. 4. Tolerate or pay more to continue to tolerate the complaints of the chartered driver to drive into Nubian Village, and then contact the hotel by yourself in the middle of the night to change to a three-wheeled motorcycle in the deserted and dark mountains for 15 minutes to doubt life and reach the mountaintop hotel. 5. Other prices are very unreasonable. We originally wanted to book dinner for the New Year's Eve party, but it cost 100 US dollars per person... What did we get here? 1. The balcony of the room can see the unbeatable sunrise on the west bank of the Nile. We witnessed the first light of 2025 here at 6 am. 2. The various poses in the cultural buildings of the Nubian Village are very photogenic. 3. The desert next to the hotel is very photogenic. 4. A very special cultural experience of a group of tourists jumping up and down the mountain in a row of three-wheeled vehicles. 5. The hotel service staff is relatively friendly. Finally, it is explained that Egypt is not a country where tipping is allowed. Carrying luggage is a basic service of any hotel in their country. No one asked for tips during the entire stay.

This small hotel is located in a small village. We went there in February. It was dry and cold. The air conditioner can only cool. The wind from the door is very strong. The panoramic room has a balcony on one side, which is even colder. Sara at the front desk is more professional. You can ask her if you need anything, but she starts work at 10 am. The one in charge of the bar is very unreliable. The kettle for hot water we were served was not washed. The kettle that had milk in it made the water all mushy. The food hygiene is completely unreliable. He also forced us to sell two bottles of water. We didn't order them, but he gave them to us directly, so we thought they were for breakfast. Finally, he showed us the price list and asked us for money. I said you didn't tell us, and he said you didn't ask. The first stop in Aswan has a very bad impression!

GGuest UserThe hotel was excellent, very nice, clean and beautifully furnished. As for the services, there are literally uneducated people in the tourism industry working at the reception, such workers should not have contact with the client at all or should undergo training. On the contrary, the staff in the restaurant was very nice. Everything was great except for the staff at the reception.

TTeangtangtotteiI heard that the more prosperous part of Aswan is the east bank of the Nile, but this is a small hotel in a Nubian village on the west bank of the Nile. If you have a chartered car, you can stay in the village to experience the Nubian culture (there is a section of road under construction into the village, it is not easy to walk and it is very dark at night). You can see the sunrise over the Nile when you go out in the morning. It is very quiet and the small village is also very beautiful. The service is particularly good. The breakfast (some bread, yogurt and boxed juice) will be packed for the morning meeting. There is an independent bathroom, but the light is dim, so I lowered my expectations. It is normal and good conditions in Egypt. At least it is clean, the bath water is hot, and it is not a problem to sleep in clothes for a night.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right by the Nile River. There is a large area full of his homes. It is a bit like a more distinctive homestay. It is in Nubian style, and there are many distinctive decorations in the room. The hotel is located in the suburbs, and the surrounding area is deserted and remote, so it is also very quiet. The hotel we booked to pick us up from Cairo to Aswan was charged $55. It took about 40 minutes to drive. I felt cheated. In fact, you can call a taxi directly from the airport. It is not as chaotic as it is said on the Internet. The breakfast in the hotel is not bad. The fried egg is very delicious. There is a waiter who is Nubian. He is very nice to me. He will take the initiative to help me carry things and remind me to pay attention to the steps. It is the most sincere and friendly service I feel in my trip to Egypt. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name. When I left, I wanted to find him to tip but couldn't find him.
