Stayed 3 nights so that we could visit family and friends in the area. Booked a twin room which had adequate space for 2 of us and separate area with small table and chairs if needed. Beds were comfortable and the room was warm (once I was shown how to activate the heating) Unfortunately the bathroom was very cold as the hotel boiler needed repair so the radiator wasn’t working. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is quite dated and in need of an upgrade which is on the planning. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially when I realised I’d left my own personal pillow on the bed. They tracked it down and a friend collected for me the next day. Definitely stay agin when next in the area.

I chose this hotel specifically because it had a washing machine and a kitchen, as I was dropping my child off at school and needed to help them set up their dorm room for a few days. It was a great choice! The location is convenient, right next to a Sainsbury's supermarket. There's a coffee shop nearby for breakfast, and the pizza from the adjacent pizza place is delicious. The bus stop is only about 100 meters away, with connections to the train station and the city center. Just be aware that the buses aren't very frequent, so it's a good idea to check the schedule beforehand. The hotel facilities are very new, and the room was spacious. The kitchen appliances were also fully equipped. Overall, it was a good stay.

We had an outstanding stay at The Fellows House Cambridge, Curio Collection by Hilton, made even more memorable by the excellent service from Nish. From the moment we arrived, Nish went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless and comfortable. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and warm hospitality truly stood out and elevated my experience. It’s rare to come across someone who takes such genuine care of guests, and Nish’s dedication made me feel valued and well looked after throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel, not only for its great facilities but especially for the exceptional service provided by Nish. We’ll definitely return!

Great location if you have a room with river view. The house keeper forget to replenished my drinking watwr for two days of five days I was there. Should have be more options for breakfast

Great location with excellent facilities in the hotel includes restaurant, swimming pool, gym and very helpful staff. Only parking is chargeable which I don’t blame them coz of location.

The Hotel was clean and helpful - although many staff seemed a little less that informed - the rooms were clean but cold at night turning the heating up didn’t help - the amenities over Christmas and new year were not as advertised- and the restaurant closed over this period so bar meals on laps were the best they could offer except breakfast which was good. Food other than breakfast was a poor selection little to offer for children or someone with diabetes so we had to eat out a lot despite being pre charged for meals.  The swimming was good but times advertised were not adhered to and no one knew times - and the rules very varied.  Once in the pool it was clean and warm.  Overall on our 2nd visit - first was better I think perhaps Christmas period is not a family period in which to spend time here.

Was visiting a relative so needed a convenient place. My priority is cleanliness. Am coming from Asia / Tropics so was apprehensive over heat and non-aircon. Room was a bit warm but it cools at night esp if you leave window open. I had a handheld fan which served my purpose - I had it on the whole night to cool me. My room was on 3rd floor so it meant I had to climb 2 flights of steps each time I went up. With heavy luggage, this cld be a problem. The room was otherwise, clean, quaint and comfortable. Some may say small & old but that I didn’t mind. Small window overlooking the river and park - nice. Bathroom was small and shower if you are big, you won’t fit in. Otherwise clean. Surprised they provided daily breakfast which was simple but sufficient. Location is 10 mins walk from the city center. I walked to the train stn - that took me 40 mins. I love walking so enjoyed the walks to town and the open country (following the river away from the town centre). I stayed 2 nights; 1st ~ 56 quid and 2nd nite ~75 quid. Great value.

This is a very old hotel, the hotel is a bit old, but the room is large, the hotel is good, the only drawback is that there is no elevator on the second floor, but the overall stay experience is still good, the best choice for family travel, facilities are also very good!

Spacious room and comfort bed. Soap smells nice. Doors are very heavy to open, so it was difficult when you have to drag heavy luggage. Location to city centre is ok but very far if you want to go to train station.
