I discovered this hotel while looking for accommodation on my way down from the Manchester area, intending to visit the Cotswolds. Trip.com offered the best price. At around £50 (approximately 100,000 KRW considering the exchange rate), it featured a spacious bathroom with a tub on the terrace, and the radiator worked perfectly. It was a perfect place to unwind before heading back to Korea.
I saw many overwhelmingly positive reviews from fellow Koreans for this hotel, so I booked it, and it turned out to be an absolutely fantastic stay!
My schedule meant I skipped the Cotswolds and visited Bicester Village instead, but honestly, it's no longer worth the trip. I'd recommend looking for a different outlet. I personally found the Mac Designer Outlet chain to feel more authentic and offer a much better experience.
Gorgeous and super cool hotel with all the amenities.
Super comfy bed with top quality bedding, very clean, cool decor, great vibes.
Hot / cold water tap on every floor with tea and coffee in the rooms or complimentary Clipper teas in the reception area. GHD straighteners and Dyson hairdryer in every room. Very good power shower with good towels and toiletries provided.
Fantastic friendly service and quick check in (3pm) and check out (11am). The reception area is a lovely place to sit and play a board game (provided) or have a cocktail from the great menu. Bikes available to hire. Free parking available on site.
Brilliant American diner on site - a must visit. The eggs are 👌🏽
A short drive from the park and ride and about 20min drive to Oxford city centre.
Everything about the hotel was great, except for its slightly remote location. The room was spacious enough, the staff had a wonderful attitude, and there's a gas station nearby, along with a KFC, Starbucks, and two convenience stores, making shopping and dining quite convenient. The super large bed was incredibly comfortable!
Great location, in the heart of high street of Woodstock and 10 minutes walk to the gate of Blenheim Palace. The room was spacious and super clean. You got all you need and you can request fresh milk from Reception for coffee or tea. Breakfast was fantastic.
The hotel in general has good facilities, staff are polite except the lady who checked in for us on our first night. There was some confusion between the booking at the trip.com and the hotel, but the receptionist was being rude and stated that only booking for 2 adults can be seen on their system and wouldn’t check us in while we paid for the extra kid. While we understood she was doing her work, her attitude appeared cold and rude and not helpful. Apart from that, the stay was pleasant.
It is so good we stay here, after been pickup from heathrow airport, travel is not long, about just gone over one hour and 10mins, is not bad at all, is a half way which we going home, but decided stay in holiday inn, next morning can go shopping at the designer outlet Bicester Village.
The parking here is very easy, but is not free, otherwise i is 100% great! family room is big, one doubles bed and a sofa bed.
My partner and I had a lovely stay at The George. Lovely dinner - good range on the menu including lots of alcohol free drink options. The bed was really comfortable and it was a lovely cozy room with great amenities.
Lovely location - Dorchester is beautiful! We loved the community farm just up the road with a lovely cafe and alpacas among others. Lovely countryside surrounding Dorchester and lovely cycle route to Oxford on the NCR5.
Thanks George Hotel for a lovely stay!
Booked for two nights while visiting Oxford, Woodstock and Blenheim Palace.
The accommodation and location fitted the bill perfectly. Although out of Oxford we had good good routes to all our destinations and the Park and Rides were beneficial.
Accommodation as expected - good standard. Dined there one evening - food good and well presented.
All staff we encountered were: pleasant, friendly and helpful.
Recommended - would book again.
The surroundings are excellent! The rooms are spacious, quiet, and clean. The only minor drawback is that it takes about half an hour by bus to get to Oxford, as it's too far to walk. However, there's a very convenient bus stop nearby. There aren't any supermarkets in the immediate vicinity, so you'll need to go into Oxford for groceries. Kassam Stadium is right next to the hotel, which can get quite lively and busy on match days.
Relaxing stay, for my wife and I for our Christmas b break. We go back every yr.

SSimon FokRoom is very small, especially after putting in the queen size bed.
Got given a room with no view, and looked like an attic. Lighting is weak and the room can get dark.
Not the best value for money - considering the steep prices we paid.

KkkbunnyI had a fantastic stay at Leonardo Royal Hotel whenever I visit Oxford twice a year! All the members on the reception are very helpful friendly professional and efficient! Especially thanks to Lina Tiffany Amanda and Asian managers!
The room is nice and clean, spacious, good to open the window to get some fresh air!
Highly recommended to anyone who wants to visit Oxford.
I would like to come back again in the near future! Thanks!
All the best

BBecezsiLovely hotel in a beautiful location! The riverside setting makes for a lovely view! We stayed in a spacious suite and were accommodated with an extra bed with no problem at all. Decor is a little dated and the accommodation could have been a little cleaner however, the staff were wonderful and the breakfast was great!
We would stay here again, thank you for a lovely stay!
GGuest UserWe have visited Sunbury Hotel a few times now , this time we were disturbed by person or persons at 02.47am and also experienced a lot of noise transmitted from above, both of which were a first for us and certainly surprised us. The cleaning service over the three nights amounted to pulling up the bed covers which is a definite lowering of previous standards. The complimentary bottles of water and snack biscuits were not refreshed at all, and the room itself now has two large areas of damp showing in the corners which should have been attended to and at least kept clean.
The hotel was busy during the weekend but the Tuesday am breakfast was attended service rather than the buffet which was great as the food was freshly prepared and served to us. A warning if you have a pet it's £20 per night now and segregation in the bar area for breakfast which is fine except for the walk through with your serving from the restaurant area before it gets cold.
The grounds are superb and the outside patio are excellent, plenty of car parking. It would be interesting to see if management comment.
GGuest UserWe had a great stay here with my family. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location was convenient if you visiting Oxford. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing experience — we’d definitely stay here again!
BBee SabThe hotel was better than I expected. I booked it 30 min before arriving. I was early but was able to check in earlier than stated. I requested a double room ( solo traveller) and was give a spacious, clean room with plenty of natural light. Although basic and in need of modernisation I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was also great value for money. Location was perfect. Just off a busy road so ideal as a mid stop from motorway towards Oxfordshire/Cotswolds etc.
I had their set lunch menu which was delicious. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon so ate in their lovely courtyard garden. It was beautiful. I had no objection from staff for eating outside instead of their restaurant.
In fact all the staff were pleasant and helpful.
I took a walk around the area. It was safe and had wonderful views.
Breakfast was great. Cooked full English ,pastries, fruit, juices etc..
Definitely worth staying. It has charm and surrounded by fields and a good countryside vibe.
GGuest UserThis is a perfect hotel, don't know why there are no reviews? It may be newly opened, everything is perfect, we arrived late, but the counter staff were very friendly and helpful with our luggage, there is a restaurant downstairs, hungry is not a problem! The room is very clean and new, very beautiful and comfortable, just like in the picture, I am really lucky to be able to live in this kind of hotel here! There is enough parking at the door, and it only takes 20 minutes to get to Oxford. If I have a chance in the future, I will come again! There are no comments here, I am afraid that everyone will miss such a good restaurant, so come up and write a comment!
