We had room 106. There was quite a weird smell on the floor we stayed on. I definitely recommend opening the window in your room or bringing air freshener for a familiar smell. The floor in the room was somewhat clean but it was okay. The bin the bathroom kept falling over when we tried to open it because it was too light.
Breakfast was nice, and the staff were friendly. It was a lovely day and there are outdoor picnic benches to enjoy the morning sun. The location is good if you want to drive to get food on the night and it's only 35 mins away from Alton towers.
Lovely clean hotel, staff were welcoming and quick to accommodate extra bedding for our room when asked. Food was quick service and very tasty, although very high prices. Rooms were perfect size, very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Will stay here again.
Came here on a business trip. It's right next to the highway, easy to find, a standard Holiday Inn. The front desk staff is very friendly and I will stay here again next time.
Arrived late in the evening , so was grateful for a 24 hour service desk.
I only had to wait a minute til they came to the desk. He was polite and helpful!
My room was comfortable & the room heated up fast with the heater in the room.
It was alittle noisy due to the location but I chose to stay at a services so all good !
The room is very large, the location is also in the core area, very close to the supermarket and the station
The service staff is also very warm, breakfast can be ordered, and free, very good
We stayed in the Keele Courtyard for 3 nights 27-30 December 2025, close enough to the village of Woore where our son hosted a large family gathering - 15 in all of which we are the parents of 3 and grandparents of 7.
We found most aspects of the hotel to be very good - very helpful and obliging staff, a spacious and well-appointed room with a large very accessible bathroom. The generous bed was perhaps a little soft for our taste, with pillows that were too large/over-filled to be completely comfortable, again not to our taste, however we slept without too much 'distress'!!
Our main disappointment was breakfast. We dined at 7.45am on our first morning as we had a 9am church service to attend and there were few others in the restaurant. The 'heated'
plates were cold, and without exception, every cooked item (an acceptable selection available) in the chafers was tepid if not cold and greasy. The fried egg yolks were solid and unpalatable.
The generic plain yoghurt was of thin consistency and tasteless. The unlabelled marmalade, (if that was what it was?!) had no flavour and might even have been apricot jam ...
There were plenty of cereal, pastry, Danish, roll, fruit, cold cut options etc. and the fruit salad and compote were delicious! The bread for toasting was basic and there were no uncut options to enable a choice of thickness. There was a seeded loaf, already sliced, available near the pastries, etc. which made delicious toast but could perhaps have been available for individual guests to cut more thickly?
The coffee from the machines was good, with a varied selection of choices. In order to have a cup of tea, it was necessary to 'dunk' a teabag in a mug - yes, very much what many tea-
drinkers do in their daily lives, but surely the availability of small stainless steel tea pots near the hot water is not beyond the imagination of an organisation like Marriot? Tea tastes so much better if allowed to brew in a teapot before being poured into a cup or mug!
Perhaps these comments will allow Marriot to review some of their Buffet Breakfast practises and improve the quality of the experience. May I conclude by saying that we have had worse and better - but are still looking for perfection ... !
Thank you for this opportunity to air my feelings. ************.
Was handy location for a visit to see my friend. Shame not all the staff on reception know about the way to get out so that you do not pay the tolls. The person who did know pulled out an A4 laminated card to show me so it is obviously a question they get asked a lot. Clean hotel and hand as in the same building as the services so easy access to grab something to eat.
The Vine Hotel by Thegreatvine Ltd is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Vine Hotel by Thegreatvine Ltd is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Stafford. The hotel is conveniently located a short 700m drive from Stafford Station. There's plenty to do nearby, with Superbowl UK Stafford, The Ancient High House and Stafford Baptist Church all within a short distance. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Stafford hotel features parking on site.
New hotel, ironing board, hardware equipment is good. Breakfast is quite satisfactory and the price is very high. The train station to the hotel uber taxi needs 6 pounds.
I stayed at this hotel for the second time. After the hotel was newly renovated, the room facilities were very good. The service staff was very welcoming and the response was very fast. Due to the slight noise of the room on the first night, I responded and made adjustments soon after the hotel proposed. The front desk supervisor has a clean and honest Hong Kong little handsome guy who especially wants to praise, and tirelessly think about the guests, let me think about his name. The variety of breakfast is quite large, but the variety that has been eaten for two days is almost the same, 🤦 Hey, there are a lot of people in the morning, the elevator is a bit slow, and students who have something to do should hurry early.
Very Good

Wonderful stay at this tucked away resort. Check in and arrival all went very smooth, surprised by the beauty of the location and venue. On entering our booked two bedroom accommodation we were very pleased by the size and amenities…a proper home from home. Lovely little touches like complimentary detergent for the washing machine and additional tablets for dish washer. Only negative would have to be that leisure centre and two out of four facilities that weren’t available, steam and jacuzzi both out of use. Otherwise an amazing stay!
Back ina time it was really great hotel and now it is till they need little bit renovation but trust me it’s a great hotel nice swimming pool you have to have swimming cap and googles to swim which was not told before and I don’t think k this is right but service rooms breakfast location is all great another thing I do t like they took deposit which didn’t make sense and they haven’t returned yet
GGuest UserGreat receptionist who was very welcoming and friendly. Good location for access to the A500 and A34 roads as well as a bus stop only a 5 minute walk away. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is very dated and lack on soundproofing between the rooms is a major issue. I could hear the guy in the room below talking and could also hear the room next door opening and closing their toilet seat! I was awoken at 1am with an inconsiderate neighbour with their tv on very loud and coughing loudly. There is a main wing and smaller wing to the side. I stayed on the 1st floor in the main wing but I would recommend you ask for the 1st floor in the small wing to minimise the number of people around you and source of external noise.
View from the room was nice however.
The guesthouse itself is within walking distance to Stoke-on-Trent Train Station and Staffordshire University (college road & leek road). The room and the property was very clean. The Owner Gabriel and Property Manager Joe was very helpful and made me feel safe during my stay. They accommodate long stay with discounted price. The rooms are exactly how the advertised on website (if anything better).Rooms are very big and spacious, bathroom were very clean. Rooms had aesthetic lights ( also dimmable). There were Sockets near bed and 2 work desk/ study desk and settee with coffee table. Free WiFi at the property. In short great find and will stay here again.
I met family from Australia here and we had a very good evening. The service was first class and food was excellent, particularly the dessert, see pic below!!!!My overnight stay was also very good and the breakfast next day was great.
