Completely brand new hotel, close to the main town, the port and the airport. Big and modern rooms, all with either a terrace or direct access to the pool (swim-up). 2 long pools (Olympic size) and a swim-up bar. Stylish decoration throughout. It was quite calm and relaxing when we stayed, although it is not adults-only. Breakfast is buffet style and coffee, fresh orange juice and hot dishes are served at the table. I think they could do with more sun loungers by the pool and the service at breakfast could be quicker, but the property just opened 2/3 weeks ago so some minor teething issues are expected. In all, I’m very happy with my stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again if back in Chios.

My stay at Casa Cook Samos was truly remarkable. I had the pleasure of staying in a beautifully designed and impeccably clean double room with a beach view that felt like a home away from home. The real highlight was waking up to the breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea. Beautiful property tucked away in a centrally located street walking distance to town and beaches. Great bakery for bread and coffee next door, and a close walk to many delicious restaurants and a variety of shops. The rooms are a nice size, with many accommodations (robes, slippers, outlet plugs, towels) and very clean. The breakfast food was expansive each morning, with many local options made fresh daily. Marie prepared the breakfast each morning, and took extra time to ensure she explained the local foods and that we tried all the freshest food options. She was also able to make us eggs to order each morning and provided fresh squeezed orange juice. Marie helped us with our laundry and told us about the best local restaurants. Overall, she was very careful to ensure we were having a wonderful time. She made us feel at home and we looked forward to her morning breakfasts each day! Highly recommend Archontiko Petras!

We really enjoyed this hotel. The breakfast was plentiful and the servers so so nice! The rooms were spacious. We had dinner gnocchi one night at the pool restaurant and that was amazing. Drinks were on the average in pricing. You can walk to a beach bar across the road with chairs, music and drinks. The walk to the ferry to Turkey took about 20 minutes through town. It really felt magical on the grounds of the hotel. I would stay here again for sure. Our room was #423 and we had a balcony , a couch and twin beds that were pushed together - perfect for us.

We are just back from a wonderful holiday at The Aegeon! The staff are warm, friendly and efficient and made us feel very welcome. The grounds are beautifully kept and the rooms were cleaned to a very high standard. We did encounter a maintenance issue during our stay which was resolved immediately. Breakfasts here are fresh and plentiful and the snack menu for lunch time offers a good range of delicious food. We also attended two barbecue nights whilst we were here and the range and quality of food was excellent - the souvlakis were the best we'd eaten anywhere in the village! The two resident dogs are adorable and we looked forward to their visits! The walk into the main village takes around 15 minutes and is flat and easy. The views from the hotel are lovely!

Mythical Coast is very nice, but feels like a 3 star hotel -- they list themselves as a 5 star hotel. The building is modern and clean and comfortable. The room was excellent. The staff is very friendly and they work hard. We really liked them. The hotel seems understaffed. The staff may be capable of creating a 5 star experience, but there are too few people working there to do that. The outdoor pool is nice but had loud music. I didn't see a life guard. The 3 indoor pools are wonderful. Really great. Warm, warmer and very warm to choose from. We learned later that they are appointment only and are not free to use. The breakfast buffet is just ok. The dinner is mediocre and expensive compared to island prices. The beach requires shoes to enter and exit the water. The Aegean Sea is wonderful. You can take a short taxi ride to the Karpouzi Beach Canteen which has easy access to the water (no shoes needed) and food service. The sauna and hamam require reservation. There isn't much to do within walking distance of the hotel, and there aren't any activities at the hotel. I highly recommend renting a car for 70 Euros and driving to Molyvos. It's about an hour away and you can spend a full day eating, shopping, swimming.

Located on Gaggou Beach the view from the rooms is breathtaking. Our room was spotless and the furniture new and nice. It was a double room, very spacious, with two beds and a sofa. The balcony was very wide too, more than 3 people could comfortably eat there. The room was cleaned every day. People working are super nice, polite and welcoming. If you rent a car there is the possibility of parking it on the way to the beach or just on the beach. The breakfast is good too, with a lot of savoury and sweet options. In high season they also have a solarium and sun beds on Gaggou.Thank you, we will definitely come back!
