This is a really great hotel! You can see it right from the airport and it's just a five-minute walk. My flight arrived early, so I got to the hotel around 10 AM, and the staff kindly helped me check in early, which I really appreciated. The room was clean and tidy, and the food was affordably priced. The breakfast was also quite varied and satisfying. The service was excellent, and there's an ATM right next door, which is super convenient.

Hotel staff very friendly . Room was largest I’ve ever had travelling . Clean quiet. Good bed . Breakfast was very disappointing , but there’s an Alfa mart under the hotel and numerous good places to eat starting 50 meters away .all at reasonable prices .

Walking distance to the Sorong-Waisai ferry, western & local options for the breakfast buffet and great staff. Could be cleaner, the streets are noisy at night & the facilities are getting old. However, I’m not aware of the other options in Sorong… perhaps this one is the best. Do yourself a favor and book the VIP tickets for the ferry!

I highly recommend Vogelkopf. The rooms are, bright, spacious, clean and nicely designed.. The AC is welcome in this humid climate. The whole property is pleasant and very well maintained. The staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful and efficient. The food is plentiful, varied and healthy; there are extensive vegetable gardens on the property. The coral at the house reef (snorkel the drop off to the right of the jetty) is even more intact than at Kri. The hotel is very convenient as not too far from the ferry terminal and the road becomes rough not long after the hotel. I wish I’d booked another night or two.  

No claims to the junior service staff. There are claims to the administration: 1. It was necessary to change two rooms from behind the loudly working, ripping, air conditioning. 2. The enabled ”Breakfast” is a suitable bakery and thermos with boiling boiler on the stool :)

This time I stayed at M Hotel Sorong Managed by East Season, located in Sorong, West Papua, Indonesia. As a solo traveler, I have high requirements for the location, cleanliness, facilities and services of the hotel. The following is my detailed review of this hotel, hoping to provide you with a reference. 1) Location and transportation: M Hotel Sorong is located in the center of Sorong, with convenient transportation and only a 10-minute drive from Domine Eduard Osok Airport. There are many restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel, and the living function is good. For travelers who need to conduct business activities in Sorong, this is a very ideal place to stay. 2) Cleanliness: I was deeply impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel. Whether it is the lobby, corridors or guest rooms, they are all kept very clean and tidy. The beds in the guest rooms are neat and comfortable, and the bathrooms are also spotlessly clean. The housekeeping staff cleans and changes the sheets and towels every day. 3) Facilities: M Hotel Sorong provides a series of complete facilities to meet the various needs of travelers: 3.1) Room facilities: I stayed in a deluxe double room, which was spacious and bright, with simple and stylish decoration. The room was equipped with a comfortable big bed, a desk, a TV, a refrigerator, a safe and other facilities. In addition, the hotel also provides free wireless network with fast speed, which meets my daily office and entertainment needs. 3.2) Dining facilities: The hotel has a restaurant that provides breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant has a wide variety of dishes and the taste is more in line with the taste of Chinese people. In addition, there are many restaurants to choose from near the hotel. Other facilities: The hotel also has facilities such as a gym, a spa, and a conference room. Although the gym is not large, it has basic equipment to meet the needs of daily exercise. The spa provides a variety of massage and treatment services to help travelers relax. The conference room is fully equipped to meet the needs of business meetings. 4) Service: I was deeply impressed by the service of M Hotel Sorong. The hotel staff is very warm and friendly, and they are very helpful in solving travelers' problems. The staff is quick and efficient during check-in and check-out. In addition, the hotel provides 24-hour room service to meet travelers' needs at any time. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay at M Hotel Sorong Managed by East Season. The hotel is in a prime location with convenient transportation; it is clean and well-equipped; the service is warm and friendly, making people feel at home. Whether it is a business traveler or a leisure traveler, you can find a comfortable accommodation experience here. 5) Suggestion: If you are sensitive to noise, it is recommended that you choose a room away from the elevator and corridor when booking a room. Although the hotel has a rich variety of breakfast, it is recommended to consider adding some Chinese breakfast options. The hotel's gym can consider adding some strength training equipment. I give M Hotel Sorong Managed by East Season a 4.5-star rating. This is a very cost-effective hotel, and it is a good choice for both business travel and leisure vacation.

This place has seen better times, i knew that but still booked. I was happy with the room for the price. Got free airport drop off. Shower was hot, bed clean, ac worked, all in all a good stay. Receptionist was very friendly after he found my reservation. Airport taxi exactly on time. I would not want to spend ny holiday here but for 1 night its ok. As it is set back in a big garden it was quiet at night. Electric kettle provided. Its actually sad to see this once great place delapitated.

Overall, the place is good. Maybe not the best for foreign tourists. It’s more of a convention place for Indonesians. ATM is 15 minutes away walking. Plastic keys are a bit worn out but the room is very good. A view from my room and from the top floor is fantastic. Location wise maybe it could have been better to be closer to the ferry but a grab ride was only 50000 idr. Service was generally good but there were a number of misunderstandings all of which were resolved.

Hotel ini memiliki lokasi yang sangat strategis di pusat kota Manokwari, bersebelahan dengan area mall sehingga memudahkan untuk mencari makan, meeting santai, maupun kebutuhan harian. Pilihan makanan di hotel cukup enak dan variatif untuk standar hotel di kota ini. Untuk kenyamanan kamar masih dalam kategori standar. Beberapa kali sprei terlihat kurang rapi seperti belum diganti dan terasa agak lecek, dengan aroma yang sedikit apek. Area kamar mandi juga kadang tercium bau dari saluran air, sehingga perlu perhatian lebih pada aspek kebersihan dan perawatan. Secara keseluruhan, fasilitas dan pelayanan lainnya masih cukup baik, dan hotel ini tetap menjadi pilihan yang praktis untuk perjalanan kerja singkat di Manokwari karena lokasinya yang strategis.

If you need a place to stay in Sorong because of your flight schedule and ferry schedule to Waisai, I recommend this place to stay. It is only 5 min from airport by car, and 10-15 min from Mall, so you can order food from many options from the mall. There were many variety of breakfast, but I personally did not like any of the food. However, people around me was taking a lot so it must be good for local people.
