The hotel's location is great, very close to Hiroshima Station, and it's quiet at night. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Overall, a good experience.
The hotel is easily accessible by foot and surprisingly a big hotel with escalators (easy for travellers with luggage) and a big hotel lobby (considering that it is a business hotel in Japan). Stayed as a family of 3 (with a child). The room was fine with 2 beds but no space for big luggage. We actually paid extra at the Front Desk for my child to stay together but was disappointed that it does not come with an extra bathroom towel nor room slippers. I asked for 1 more pillow and was rejected too. But one of the male staff at the Front Desk was extremely helpful which was a bonus. He gave a suggestion in passing me 2 blankets which I can stack them and use as a pillow. We liked the view from our room too. We are able to see the the busy train tracks with Shinkansen and cargo trains. The stay comes with breakfast and dinner too. Overall, it was a great stay. Thank you.
The room size was decent, not small by Japanese standards. The decor felt quite new. They even had Braille identification at the elevator, which was a nice touch. The hotel is right in the city center, making transportation very convenient. It's really close to the Peace Memorial Park and Atomic Bomb Museum, just a few minutes' walk. The area felt safe and quiet. My only minor gripe was that there was a front desk staff member on the first day, but I didn't see them on the subsequent two days. It seems like many hotels in Japan are moving towards self check-in now, which I'm still getting used to as I don't visit often.
our original hotel booking at mitsui garden got force cancelled due to maintenance so this hotel was our alternative & it did not disappoint!
service : front desk & staff were very friendly & allowed to store our luggages till evening the next day! [10/10]
room : size was alright for the price, very clean [10/10]
location : amazing, located within walking distance of hiroshima station [10/10]
cost : amazing, given that this was our alternative offered as compensation, its amazing [10/10]
miku & I enjoyed our stay! ありがとうございます!
Very grand hotel, dated in the age of build. Very clean bathroom and beds. Amazing, grand entrance way. Very close to sightseeing areas and local sighseening bus stops. Excellent view of the city. Lots of personal amenity provided (toothbrush etc). Access to gym/fitness centre is additional (substantial) costs.
Lovely staff with excellent English.
Excellent location. Excellent service, especially the staff offers help when my daughter feels sick during the trip. The room is not big, but well-equipped and clean. It provides light breakfast with hot coffee/tea and packs of self-baked bread, which you may eat inside the room or in the hall.
I will definitely recommend this hotel!
The hotel had all that I would need for a short trip as basics are provided. Shopping area was just 3-5 minutes walk away and just a few mins away from the Peach Memorial Park in the other direction. For the price, the location is perfect and I couldn't ask for more. The free coffee was a nice touch.
Conveniently located directly above the south side of Hiroshima Station, with a small elevator leading straight to the 7th-floor lobby (near the Hiroshima Electric Railway entrance; the Maple Loop bus is on the north side). There's a wide variety of dining options in the mall downstairs. The hotel feels quite new, the rooms are spacious, and the front desk staff speak good English. The self-service luggage storage is easy to use. Overall, the Granvia quality is excellent.
The hotel was conveniently located right next to Hiroshima station, which is good for planning day trips. There is also a 7-11 and Lawson store right at the ground floor. The rooms were comfortably large for two people and the beds were comfortable. Overall, an excellent stay and highly recommended. A room for improvement would be to consider providing bigger/more pillows for the beds - one small pillow may not beto everyone’s liking. Also, I felt the reception staff were a bit stingy when they declined my request for more bottled water after finishing the ones in the room…
We had the best stay ever in this hotel with its sumptuous breakfast buffet offering Hiroshimas’ food delicacies and has variety of food selection from Japanese to western style food menu. The best location and accessible and walking distance to many places like shopping district and Atomic Bomb Dome.

Amazing
葛葛安杰Right up the hill, our room had a view of the Torii, and the onsen is great, with an inside and outside option. They also offered to drive us to and from the ferry, but it’s such a short walk, we didn’t mind. The famous white tanuki is sometimes seen nearby, and around the corner the best anago meshi in town.
GGuest UserGood location, less than 1km from Onomichi Station. For those arriving by Shinkansen, the hotel is about 4km from Shin-Onomichi Station. Excellent Japanese breakfast. Only downside: the bed is a bit small.
GGuest UserIt's farther away from the station because there is a parking lot, but the open-air rooftop bath is amazing.
There is also a small sauna, and it was great to enjoy the night view from the large public bath while feeling the dawn.
GGuest UserThe hotel offers aesthetically impressive rooms that match the pictures, with the breathtaking view surpassing all expectations in person. The staff also provided excellent service in accommodating food intolerances. Unfortunately, the culinary experience was disappointing; the food was too mild and underwhelming for the price paid. Furthermore, the Onsen facility was inadequate: it lacked variety with only 2 warm pools and a steam sauna, offered no varying water temperatures (and the cold plunge pool was not cold enough). Additionally, the desired peaceful atmosphere was disrupted by having more of a socializing gathering in the onsen, which lowered the overall impression and value of the wellness area. In summary: excellent rooms but we would have expected more value for money regarding the food and spa.
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful time enjoying the onsen bath, recliner lounge, ocean terrace and beautiful view from our room (Note: trip.com booking of lowest priced room with sea view is not correct as the room is located at the lowest level and you only see trees before the ocean. We need to pay extra to upgrade the room to a better view). There's a private onsen bath tub in the room too. They also provide free coffee, popsicle sticks and yukata at the lobby. Dinner and breakfast has a reasonable spread but most food (especially the fried ones) are pre-cooked and cold. So they don't taste as good. The location is high up the hills. It's not possible to get a bus and then climb up with heavy luggages. The best way is to take a taxi, so be prepared to pay the price.
GGuest UserEasy walking to the hotel from Fukuyama station. The Castle near the station can be easily accessed by walking ( not too tough for me who has a knee issue). I could see Toyoko Inn at the top of the Castle ground. Also the cathedral.
AAnonymous UserThe location is superb, right outside Fukuyama Station North Exit, and next to Fukuyama Castle. Breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious. There's a drink bar offering coffee and other beverages, and during certain hours, alcoholic drinks are also served (unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture, so I don't remember the exact times). What's also really worth mentioning are the incredibly comfortable mattress and pillows.
AAnatoliiA beautiful hotel with a port view, very convenient location for two days of bicycle travel. Good abundant dinner and breakfast. Left a small gift for the host in the room.
GGuest UserSuper satisfied! Far exceeded expectations! The whole building is bigger than it looks in the photos! There is a Japanese garden in the building! Super beautiful! The location requires a boat or a bike. If you have luggage, don't worry about taking the boat. It is also very convenient. The hotel is right after you get off the boat!
The service is particularly good! Enthusiastic! The food is really great! The pillows are really hard!
If you pass by nearby, I really recommend you to experience it! We arrived late and there were no bicycles to rent, so the owner lent us his! He was afraid that we would take the wrong boat and chased us out to help us find the way! Great!!!
SShanyuexiaxiaThe hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! You can spot it right after exiting the JR station, and it's just a minute's walk to the ferry terminal (for Imabari). Two minutes further, and you'll find bike rentals, with U2 and other cafes just beyond. It's incredibly convenient for cycling the Shimanami Kaido! Plus, it's only a ten-minute walk to the Senkoji Temple Ropeway station. The hotel has everything you need; the only minor issue was the bathroom ventilation wasn't very powerful, but everything else was great 👍. They even gave us delicious orange jelly!
