I was worried because there weren't many reviews for this newly built hotel, but it was clean and really nice. It had an ocean view and was really pretty!! It's close to Daegae Village and the cafe street, so it was easy to get around, so if I visit Yeongdeok again, I'll come back to this hotel!
I visit Mungyeong from time to time, and this is definitely one of the better places to stay. The city center is a bit of a walk, but the property is clean and the amenities are excellent. The staff are also very friendly.
Lahan Hotel had a great view of the East Sea and Pohang Space Walk and was very clean and well furnished. Shower amenities (shampoo, soap and body lotion) have a stronger scent than most hotels (tabacoo scented) and may be a hit or miss for travellers. Location was also convenient, with just a short walk to Yeongildae Beach and eateries along the beach street. Many buses also have routes along the Main Street which made it easy and convenient to explore Pohang. The reception staff were also very helpful and gave us helpful advice for our itinerary and plans based on their local knowledge (:
I arrived about 30 minutes early, but they helped me check in early. The room was more spacious than I expected, and as a newly built hotel, the interior and bedding were very clean, making for a comfortable stay. The generous supply of towels was also a plus. Some reviews were disappointing about the lake view, but the view of the mountains behind us and the quiet surrounding roads gave us the feeling of being in a quiet rural village. The bakery on the first floor offers a 50% discount after 6 p.m., and the bread was delicious and reasonably priced, making it a satisfying breakfast. The location was also convenient, with a Starbucks nearby and close proximity to Andong Hahoe Folk Village. I would definitely return if I get the chance.
Good service, friendly staffs, clean room. Very satisfied over all. I was traveling Gyeongju, so the hotel was a bit far from the city. However it is located near the beautiful beach. I would stay here if I travel the city again!
The room service chicken was really delicious, and there was a sauna, so I could come back every day and relax in the sauna. The breakfast had a lot of options and the view was great, so overall it was a satisfactory hotel. I will come back again when I come to Gyeongju!
This is a review of a one-night stay during an early vacation for office workers. It's a 1980s-style accommodation that feels like it's back in time. The tile floors were sticky due to the heat and humidity, which was a bit of a hassle. The Western-style food is a bit pricey for the service and quality. I had to visit before peak vacation season, as the outdoor fountain tables weren't open, which made it feel a bit like I was on vacation. So, I searched for a good restaurant nearby and went. Thanks to this, I was able to buy some local melons. The weather can be quite unpredictable.
The hostel and the person in charge are the best. There was a part that was unfortunate, but the location and the overall part of the hostel can be said to be the best.
It was good and clean. I like it so much, the room was spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will visit if I travel there again

Amazing
Beautiful hanok and a simple 3-mins walk from main road where the taxi will drop you off to the actual hotel. Host was very helpful, allowed us to check in earlier at 1pm and helped us to check timing and called a restaurant to book for our dinner. Also, free breakfast was provided although timing is fixed at 8.30am. Overall, a very pleasant stay and definitely recommended for anyone who wants an authentic experience!
First of all, there's a nearby supermarket near the accommodation, so it's great to come in after dinner and have a beer. The staff upgraded the room for free when I checked in, so I originally had a double bed, but I ended up in a very spacious room with two king-size beds. The view was that of a nursing hospital, but it had Netflix. There was a duplex and all kinds of amenities, so I could just come by myself. A truly flawless accommodation! I think it would be difficult to find accommodation of this quality for around 50,000 won again.
The place is near metro/ subway. The room is good size. However, they don’t provide washer or dryer, but they have a laundry shop very nearby you d the corner
It was clean and spacious. Like I've mentioned before, this hotel does not have an elevator, so there's a lot of walking the stairs. They have a dumbwaiter to take your bags to the designated floor. The staff were friendly and cheerful. I didn't use the fridge or the hair dryer or the toiletries. However, I don't like to carry shampoo, shower gel, and conditioners, which they had provided, and the best thing was the bathroom slippers. I am looking forward to buying one and taking it home.
GGuest UserI had such a wonderful stay at this hanok-style hotel that I’m already dreaming of coming back. From the moment I arrived, everything felt calm, welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. The traditional architecture, the soft lights in the courtyard at night and the view over the tiled rooftops created a very special atmosphere that you just don’t get in a “normal” hotel. My room was cozy, bright and spotlessly clean. I especially loved the little wooden platform by the window with the cushions – it became my favorite spot to sit with a book, drink a coffee and look out over the rooftops and mountains. Waking up to that view in the morning and seeing the same roofs softly lit at night made my stay feel almost magical. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. You can feel that they really care about their guests and about sharing Korean culture. The small details, like the beautiful traditional bookmark as a gift, made me feel genuinely appreciated and added a personal touch I will not forget. Overall, this stay was one of the highlights of my trip. If you are looking for a place that combines comfort, authenticity and a peaceful atmosphere in the middle of a hanok neighborhood, I can only highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely love to stay here again.
The Hanok was so beautiful, and it was very spacious and comfortable. The temperature was well-controlled. There was a small outdoor pool, though it seemed to be only available in the summer. To the right, there was a barbecue area with tables. We also had a campfire, but since we only stayed one night, we weren't able to fully enjoy it. It was the best accommodation I've ever stayed in. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Gyeongju.
It was great having a room that could accommodate three people. We were a group of seven, so we booked two double rooms and one triple room. There's a convenience store and a cafe on the first floor, and the location is excellent, being close to the intercity bus terminal. They held onto our luggage for us, which made traveling much more convenient! It seems like a popular spot for families. We had a very comfortable stay.
Beautiful chalet-style place for staying! The bed is very comfortable. The room is clean and organised. A few chairs and a table to do work or eat. Very spacious area for watching tv. There’s a bbq pit outside each unit. The host brought fresh towels for my second night, thank you! I love the beautiful decoration and swimming pool downstairs, even though it’s cold at night. It has a charming atmosphere, with an outdoor screen, swings and nice music. Sound insulation is ok, although you can hear the frogs croak outside from the bathroom. The place is about 20 mins’ walk from the bus stop with restaurants, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Theres a emart24 about 10 minutes away. There’s a restaurant next door that sells fried chicken till 11pm. It’s a must-try! Host and his wife are extremely helpful people. Thank you for your warm hospitality! Highly recommended for people who want privacy and lots of space to hang out.
