The hotel is not big, with only a dozen rooms, but it is really clean. Everyone is very friendly. Although the facilities are not as good as those of a standard hotel, it has everything it should have. It is suitable for staying for a few days. It is very cost-effective. It is close to the sea and you can walk to Shivaduka along the coast to see turtles.

Absolutely loved this hotel! The natural environment here is fantastic. It's just a 10-15 minute drive from Tissa Lake. I arrived in the morning to the peaceful sounds of crickets and frogs. It was also a full moon that night, which made the scenery even more stunning. The swimming pool is impressively large too. I stayed on the ground floor, which meant I could step right out onto the lawn from my room. The hotel offers great value for money; the prices are reasonable and the rooms are quite spacious. It's noticeably cheaper than hotels situated closer to Yala National Park. I highly recommend booking the breakfast and dinner package. There aren't many other dining options nearby, and more importantly, the buffet is absolutely delicious!!! They offer a great variety of Western dishes, incredibly sweet fruits, and even sushi, making it very suitable for the Chinese palate. For our morning safari, we requested a packed meal from the hotel. It was incredibly generous, including water, various drinks, juice, sandwiches, and cake – truly more than we could finish! Upon our return, breakfast was still ongoing. I explained to a staff member that I was feeling quite hot and asked if I could get a drink. She was very accommodating, assuring me it was absolutely fine, but did clarify that since we had taken a packed breakfast, we wouldn't be able to have another full meal in the dining area.

My trip to Sri Lanka staying at RIU Hotel was amazing. It was my first time booking an All-Inclusive package, and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect—but overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. There were a few areas that could be improved. The food, for instance, felt a bit low in quality, with limited options for a healthy diet. The gym was quite small, with limited equipment, and it would be great if the opening hours were extended to accommodate more guests throughout the day. That said, the service was exceptional. The staff were attentive and professional, always anticipating guests’ needs—especially in the buffet restaurants. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the à la carte restaurants as they were fully booked and very much in demand—something we weren’t aware of in advance. We’d definitely love to return once the monsoon season is over, as the weather wasn’t ideal during our stay. The beach, while beautiful, was unsafe for swimming at the time, which was a bit disappointing.

As an experienced business and leisure traveller, I was very disappointed with this hotel, which is definitely not five star. The rooms are shabby and very few of the staff are properly trained or can understand English. We booked a Delux and were given a damp dark room in the basement with a caterpillar in the shower. We insisted on changing rooms but the only available room was a suite (a nice spacious room with private pool) which cost us an additional $100. The buffet was ok, with some good Indian options, but not outstanding or very extensive. Front desk staff were generally unfriendly and did not make us feel welcome. I do not recommend staying here unless you can get a huge discount and are happy with a mediocre hotel.

The hotel facilities are excellent. Opened 24 years ago, everything is brand new. The ocean is right outside the door, and there's a private beach, making for stunning sunsets. Evening insect repellent is provided, and the entire hotel is bug-free, which is a nice touch. Breakfast is excellent, and there's an à la carte restaurant for dinner, with excellent seafood. Prices are reasonable before taxes, but slightly higher after taxes and service charges (the Sri Lankan government, after its bankruptcy, has been aggressively collecting taxes). The driver explained that this hotel caters specifically to foreigners, hence the higher taxes. The only downside is that the basic rooms don't have bathtubs, but it still deserves a five-star rating.

Magnificent mini-hotel. One of the best on the island. Very friendly staff, small number of rooms. Although it's a la carte, the breakfast is very tasty and varied. Infinity pool with magnificent views. Nearby is one of the best beaches on the island without waves - Jungle beach. I highly recommend choosing this place. By the way, I advise anyone who gets a view of the garden not to be upset - the sea can also be seen from there. Overall, a wonderful boutique hotel.

Needless to say jetwing, Lanka's high-end resort hotel brand. Although this is a franchise store and not a direct store, it uses its management team and its products. Small details need to be strengthened. A lot of food is shipped from the lighthouse hotel next to it, so the service time is relatively long, there is no bathtub, and the water output is slightly smaller. The manager is very enthusiastic and the service is in place. The other waiters are less experienced in internships and have poor English communication skills. Overall it is good, the environment has nothing to say, the quiet and private is generally satisfactory.

Really enjoyed my stay at Hikka Tranz. I had full board and the food had plenty of options and was very good. Cocktails at the beach bar were affordable and really tasty. I would not recommend ordering food there though, it was expensive and not nice. The gym does not have air conditioning, but overall a great place to relax.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by wonderfully friendly staff at the reception desk, and our positive impression continued when we saw our room. It was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean and a perfect space to relax in. Unfortunately, our enthusiasm dipped when we looked out the window. We had eagerly anticipated the sea view we booked, but found ourselves on the first floor looking directly onto the main path to the restaurant. The lack of both a view and privacy was a real disappointment. The challenges were compounded by a local festival taking place during our stay. This rendered the beach unusable due to the sheer volume of people. Worse, the road closures made leaving the hotel a logistical headache, leaving us feeling a bit trapped. A final frustration was discovering there were no shops nearby and no convenience store in the hotel itself, so be sure to pack everything you might need. In summary, while we can't fault the hotel on its cleanliness or the friendliness of its staff, the experience was significantly hampered by the room mix-up and the festival chaos. It wasn’t a bad stay, but it was far from the relaxing getaway we had planned.

Triple O Six boasts a great location, right across from Coconut Hill, and offers spacious, well-designed rooms. However, the floors always seem slightly damp for some reason, which can get on your nerve. Another downside is the breakfast buffet charge—at 5000 LKR per person, it's just exorbitant. Despite these issues, the hotel remains a solid option for its location and comfort, just get your breakfast somewhere else.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were truly amazing — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The location is perfect, with plenty of nearby amenities, restaurants, shops, and attractions just a short walk away. Overall, it’s an excellent place to stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

GGuest UserA great hotel, location is very convenient. Near fish and fruit markets, bus station, currency exchange, supermarkets, wineshops and most importantly to the clean Hickey beach 4 minutes walk. The staff at the hotel handled their top-level tasks. I haven't seen the room clean so long. Bed-white. I was in the room with sea view ... a huge balcony with a dryer with a table and chairs. Water is always hot. Teapot, refrigerator, adapter, fan is all in the room. The most important is a common, clean kitchen - where there is microwave, baking, stove. And all in perfect cleanness. Thank you the huge host of the hotel Rajesh - met and held as a dear guest! The advice from the soul, as it is checked on itself)))

AAnonymous UserMy wife and I stayed here during our vacation in Sri Lanka, choosing it because of the high Google ratings. The location really impressed us. The hotel is literally a step away from the beach and less than five minutes’ walk to town, which made it very convenient. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the beach and listening to the waves was easily the best part of the stay. The lobby was simple but acceptable, and there is a seafood restaurant right next to the hotel. At check-in, there was a small hiccup. I booked through Trip.com, but they couldn’t find my booking at first. After about ten minutes, they managed to sort it out and confirmed that the booking came via Agoda. The receptionists were friendly and welcoming, even offering us a drink on arrival. Our room on the second floor had a great view of the sea. The shower had good water pressure, although the bathroom could use better ventilation. The toiletries seemed diluted, so we ended up using our own. Unfortunately, the air conditioning became a real problem. It leaked so badly that the room flooded twice, soaking my shoes. Despite my request for a pail to manage the water, they initially only gave floor mats, which was very frustrating. By the time they finally sent a pail, it was too late. We barely slept that night because of the constant dripping sound. Overall, the location and friendliness of the staff were strong points, but the poor handling of the air conditioning issue really spoiled our experience.

TTigerwindThere is no bath gel in the room, not even a bath towel. Hair dryer is provided after request. In short, the facilities are too simple. However, the inn service staff is warm and thoughtful. The Tisza Lake is right outside the door

GGuest UserAlthough it takes you about 15 minutes to get   'guesthouse' from Galle-railway station, along the main street on the way to 'guesthouse ',there is a big supermarket   with eat-in space. So,it will be  convenient for you to go shopping  the daily necessities and foods. A friendly owner runs this guesthouse.  As he seemed to take an interest in  studying about the foreign cultures,  especially East Asian. I was so absorbed in a  conversation  with  him  until late at night.  In the guest house property,  there is not a big swimming pool for guests,  but also a lot of tropical tree...  for instance,Guava,Cinnamon , Mango  trees and so on. Maybe you will feel like you have a something of an adventure while taking a turn in the garden. A guest room l spent  was a large one  with a mosquito net and an electric fan. Although my room doesn't have air- conditioning,  it is relatively comfortable for me to stay in one-night.  If I have a chance to go on  a trip in Galle,  I would like to visit here again. Thank you for reading my long document.

JjainRajatExcellent location. Quite nearby to mirissa harbour and weligama. Liked the property. They arranged a candle lit dinner setting nearby beach as it was my honeymoon on request for no additional charges. Liked the beach, the swimming facilities and the buffet for dinner as well as breakfast. Arranged breakfast box as i had to go on whale watching and would have missed my breakfast. Very nice staff. Only thing they can improve is a bit quick on service as we had to call multiple times for getting our room cleaned.
