Siargao Seasky is the second hotel I booked in Siargao. And it is leagues ahead of the first one I booked. The air conditioning was superb, the amenities like the ceiling fan and toilet had all the bells and whistles. They even had free detergent if you needed to wash your clothes and a dryer on every floor. The breakfast selection but all filling. It’s also very accessible, right snack in the middle of General Luna. The staff were all courteous and warm. Worth all th money you spent.

They even prepared a small suprise for me since we arrived on the day of my birthday. We booked the Rattan Villa for five people, and it was incredibly spacious. There was more than enough room for everyone to move around comfortably. We also had restful nights—the beds were so soft and comfortable that it felt like sleeping in a five-star hotel. The resort has a peaceful and relaxing ambiance. Although there was some ongoing construction during our stay, it wasn't a major issue since we were out most of the day for our island activities, and the work had already stopped by the time we returned each afternoon. We also enjoyed dining at their restaurant. The food was delicious, and we appreciated that the chef personally came over to ask how we liked our meals. My only suggestion would be to add more menu options, as the resort is quite far from restaurants and convenience stores. Having a wider selection would be especially helpful for guests staying several days. The staff were all friendly, accommodating, and approachable. They assisted us with everything we needed before, during, and even after our stay, making us feel well taken care of. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. The room was not properly cleaned and had a lot of dust. The complimentary toiletries were not provided upon check-in, and the shower drain was clogged, causing water to accumulate in the bathroom. The water supply appeared to come from a deep well and had an unpleasant smell. I also found it unusual that the pillows were covered with bed sheets instead of proper pillowcases. The most disappointing experience happened at 1:30 AM, when the receptionist called our room and woke us up to ask if they could borrow our air conditioner remote. We were told that three other guests had complained because they didn’t have air conditioner remotes, and the staff said they only had one remote available. Waking sleeping guests in the middle of the night to solve an internal hotel issue is highly unprofessional and significantly disrupted our rest. Overall, while the room size, affordability, and free breakfast were positives, the cleanliness, maintenance, and service need major improvement. I hope the management addresses these issues to provide a better experience for future guests.

One of the standout features is the guest-only pool, perfectly positioned beside the restaurant. The setting is spectacular, with uninterrupted views of the sea that make every meal feel special. The food is consistently good, the cocktails are expertly made, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the accommodation. With only eight rooms, the hotel feels intimate, exclusive, and wonderfully peaceful. Waking up each morning to the sight of the ocean directly in front of you and the soothing sound of waves crashing on the shore is an experience that's hard to put into words. It's the kind of place where you instantly slow down and appreciate your surroundings. The entire property is picturesque, tranquil, and incredibly well-positioned. For the quality of the experience, the stunning location, and the level of privacy it offers, it represents exceptional value for money. A true hidden gem and somewhere I would return to without hesitation.

Small room in the center of the tourist area of General Luna. For a small enough price you will receive a very very comfortable bed with a small bathroom and a very very small toilet (why the toilet door opened push). No remote for AC, it wasn't hot water, when I was there. 50 php for every hour for early check in, it's too rood. Everyday party from the place downstairs finishing at 23.30 or 00. If you ready to that, welcome

It's great for families, but sometimes the shared bathrooms and showers can be a bit dirty because so many people use them. The water is also a bit salty, but it's clean. Our air conditioning was super cold. The staff are kind. We slept really well though, because the beds were soft and clean. It's also nice that they have games/parties, and the pool is enjoyable to swim in because the water is warm, especially at night. Thank you RuckSack! Until next time!

I had a good time at Casavia Siargao. The location is ideal if you want to surf at Cloud9: you can walk there in 5 minutes, and it's much quieter than General Luna but still close enough if you want to spend the night eating/partying there. The private room was pretty nice and spacious, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom could use some love, but still it was ok. The staff is nice and always willing to help, and the hostel has several social nights organised via a Whatsapp group. While I didn't take part in those events, it's a convenient way to meet other travellers. My only remark was about the noise: my room was facing the upstairs social area and, despite the signs specifying the quiet time (22pm onwards) and also a 500PHP fine for people not respecting it, every night I had people making phone calls, playing the guitar or shouting loudly after midnight (or later) in front of my room and there was nobody around to remind to keep the voice down. That was annoying.
