MMarufjon23I had a wonderful stay at Novotel Moscow City. The hotel is modern, clean, and very comfortable. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Moscow City business district, with easy access to the metro, shopping mall, and many restaurants nearby.
The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and very quiet, which makes it perfect for both business and leisure trips. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help.
I also enjoyed the breakfast – there was a good variety of food and everything was fresh and delicious. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Moscow. I will be happy to stay here again on my next trip.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to Leningradsky Railway Station by metro. If you take exit 3 and look right, you'll see the hotel. You'll pass a shopping mall, which has a good-sized 24-hour supermarket on the first floor. If you take exit 4, look right and you'll first see the yellow tower, and the hotel is right next to it. (If you have a lot of luggage, use exit 4 because it has an escalator; exit 3 does not). I was given a king-size bed, which felt at least 2 meters wide – plenty of space for two people without touching each other. The room was large and spacious. I was on the 20th floor with a view of the yellow tower, which was nice. The shower water and toiletries were just okay, but otherwise, there were no downsides, and the value for money exceeded expectations. At the 24-hour supermarket across the street, near the fruit and herbal tea aisle, I met an older, short-haired, plump woman. I'm not sure if she's always assigned to that section. This lady spoke excellent English and was very enthusiastic. I asked her to recommend some herbal teas, and she was very thorough, even telling me which ones she personally enjoyed. The teas I bought based on her recommendations were a hit with everyone.

GGuest UserThe location is quite good, right near the subway entrance, easy to find, and close to attractions like Red Square.
I stayed for two nights. On the first night, the Caucasian lady at the front desk was quite nice. Even though I don't speak Russian and my English is very poor, she used her phone to translate into Chinese for me. However, on checkout day, the local girl with super exaggerated eyelashes who helped me retrieve my luggage was very mean. I told her in English that I was there to pick up my luggage, but she kept speaking Russian to me. I was about to pull out my translator when she typed something in Russian on her phone to show me. Seeing that I still didn't understand, she then translated it into English, telling me: 'She doesn't understand English.' I felt like her eyes were rolling so hard they were about to pop out. It must have been during a shift change, as there was an Asian guy sitting at the desk, likely taking over from her, who didn't say a word during our communication struggle. Later, when I returned the key after getting my luggage, his pronunciation sounded very much like he was a compatriot.
The common areas have a great vibe, with many people freely moving about. There's hot and cold water and a microwave, so overall it's quite convenient.
The room and bedding generally looked tidy. However, under the bed and in some less-noticed areas, it was a bit messy – for example, there was a lot of dust and a sock under my bed.
The bed setup in the room is a bit like a university dorm. During my two-night stay, the people on my left and right woke up at 5 or 6 AM on both mornings and started packing. If you're a light sleeper, I wouldn't recommend it.
Some of the shower faucets are different from those in China. I eventually found a familiar shower switch on the second floor and was able to shower successfully.
You can get a proof of stay and also store your luggage.

MM507876****This hotel is okay overall, the air conditioning equipment is a bit old, does not affect the heating, the space is okay, the bathroom space is also relatively large, no other reviews said of discrimination against the Chinese to rooms with roof windows. A little worried before going, went to the 2nd floor given after, normal room, was relieved. However, the double room bed is indeed too narrow. If you turn over too much when sleeping, you will fall off the bed. The variety of breakfast is average. It is more convenient to go to the exhibition here. A few dozen meters outside the door is the Line 3 subway station.

VValchefOur stay at Peter 1 Hotel was truly exceptional! The hotel is elegant and beautifully maintained, offering a perfect mix of comfort and classic style. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean — a great place to relax after a day of exploring Moscow.
The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options, from fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, and the dining area had a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They always greeted us with a smile and were happy to assist with anything we needed, from directions to restaurant recommendations.
Overall, Peter 1 Hotel exceeded my expectations — beautiful rooms, excellent breakfast, and outstanding service. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Moscow who wants a comfortable and memorable stay.

GGuest UserThis veteran five-star hotel is well-maintained. The breakfast spread is generous, and they even added an extra bed for our party of three. The location is excellent, very close to Arbat Street, and not far from Metro Lines 3 and 4, making getting around very convenient. The hotel staff are very friendly, and the front desk speaks fluent English. If you're looking for a hotel not far from Red Square, I highly recommend this one; it offers great value for money. During our stay, it happened to be my son's birthday, and the hotel thoughtfully surprised us with a cake, which was both delightful and touching!

Suggest changing cash somewhere else (not the main bank next door). The main cross road has a decent exchange shop (safe) next to the surf coffee place. Would def. come back again.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, with a metro line running underneath it, which is definitely its biggest advantage. The cleanliness wasn't great, but it was still acceptable. The walls of the room are very thin, so it lets in a lot of sound, but the people next to us stopped when we warned them. Overall, we were satisfied and I would recommend it.

GGuest UserI have mixed feelings about the hotel. On the one hand, it's conveniently located. That's why I chose it. I was traveling alone and arrived in the evening after the airport with two suitcases. I was given a room on the 4th floor. There was no information about this anywhere. There is no elevator. Even for an extra fee, there is no one to carry the suitcases at least up to the next floor. The steps are very slippery. When I was checking out and carrying my suitcases down, I slipped on the stairs and fell with my suitcase. This is very dangerous in such snowy weather. There is nothing on the steps, only tiles. The girl at reception said when I checked in that breakfast was at 7:00. I arrived at 7:15 and they didn't let me in; they told me to wait another 15 minutes. It was unpleasant because I was in a hurry on business, and I had already paid for breakfast when I booked. The food was delicious, lots of choice, buffet style. The room is small, but everything seemed to be there and it was clean. Towels, slippers, toothbrushes, etc., everything is there. You can hear all the neighbors from the other rooms. The doors are very flimsy, and it was even a little scary to sleep at night. There is Wi-Fi. Of all the staff, only the security guard was polite and friendly. It was okay for an overnight stay, but I wouldn't want to stay longer. It feels more like a guesthouse than a hotel. But overall, for this price, it's probably fine.
