The Aurora River Camp is located in the forest by the Kiruna Torna River. The scenery is beautiful and far from the city light source. My girlfriend and I can see the aurora and starry sky in the glass house and the woods next to the glass house. We are lucky and we also saw wild moose foraging in the woods. The camp has sufficient housing, complete facilities, a communal kitchen, and can buy ingredients in the kitchen processing; The boss and the proprietress of the camp are enthusiastic. They can reply and solve the problems and needs we put forward in time. The boss also taught us to take the aurora in the night view mode of Apple 17. I like it so much! Have a chance to come again in the future!

The room was big and bed was super comfy. There was a mini mini fridge that held 2 cans under the desktop. The location was wonky to access as there is no cars allowed close ro the entrance and the parking is across the motorway. There was a big chunk of hair left in the shower from other guests so not clean for me and room smelled like it needed to be aired out so air circulation not great. Typical Dcsndic, reliable and great breakfast.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff were welcoming, check-in was smooth, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. Our room was clean, spacious, and well-kept, with a very comfortable bed that made it easy to relax after a long day. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was a big plus. The amenities were also impressive. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of fresh and tasty options, and the location of the hotel made it convenient to explore the area. Everything felt well-organized and thoughtfully maintained. The only downside was that the heater took a long time to warm up the room. It eventually reached a comfortable temperature, but it required some patience, especially during colder nights. Overall, it was a great experience with just a small issue, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

A great place to stay. Excellent amenities and near to town. We rented a car for the 3 nights stay no we could easily move around. The restaurant was great and offered good food. We saw the northern lights for 2 nights just outside our hotel room.

Convenient location close to railway station, clean, proper breakfast, friendly staff. Otherwise rather simple, shared WC/shower, poor noise insulation. But expensive! Apparently there is a lack of competition of hotels in Gallivare and they use this situation to their advantage fully! In any other place in Sweden a place like this couldn't charge more than 2/3 of the price this place charges! For shared facilities this is definitely overpriced. But if you have to stay in Gallivare there is little to no alternative...

This hotel gets off at the next two stations of the railway station Abisko. The name of the railway station is shown in Figure 7. If you see this train conductor, say hello to me, nice. There is a hotel shuttle bus to pick up luggage at the train station and walk to the hotel by yourself. 150 kronor per person by car, not windy or rainy, not necessary. The hotel has single rooms, which are relatively small and also have townhouses. Chinese food 130 / person, buffet, delicious, dinner can be ordered. Things were great, it was just that we needed a late checkin but it was impossible to connect with the hotel as they did not pick up their phone. Trip agents were helping but they could not as well. At the end, we connected with them via WhatsApp. Would not recommend if you need to contact the hotel though since it was quite frustrating.

Excellent hotel, excellent location, clean, good breakfast, efficient and very nice and efficient staff. It is very pleasant to offer various types of coffee (including a great Italian express!) in the hall.

hotel is located in a beautiful place. If you’re lucky, you will see Storforsen wtaerfall from your window. hotel has sauna. Breakfast was tasty, big selection of food to choose from.
