Although the location is a bit far from town. But for those who drive by themselves. It's very convenient, it only takes five to ten minutes to drive to the town. As for fruit, there are two large supermarkets in the town. I went to the supermarket and bought some cold snacks. It was very comfortable to eat in the room facing the lake. The room was a lake view room and the scenery was very beautiful. It's a pity that the room only has dinner plates and no kitchen utensils. It would be more perfect if there are kitchen utensils.

The owners of Lata Hotel are extremely kind and very welcoming ! They came to pick us up at the airport and showed us all the key highlights of Nukuʿalofa ! They also cooked amazing food for us, including lots of fresh seafood, we still remember the huge lobster and crabs we ate there ! Would highly recommend staying at Lata Hotel !

They let me check in even late at night. The hotel staff were very kind. The hotel also arranged for a taxi to take me to the airport.

Service is very general

I love the hotel, the receptionist, the manager, all hotel staff was super kind and helped us in all way they can. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable to sleep in. Its very close the both piers and around a billfish (famous bar) and supermarkets and resturants. We highly recommend this place compared to other hotels and will stay here again when we visit Tonga. The hotel is across the sea from a road. There is a more upscale restaurant below. The number of rooms on the second floor is not large and the room is clean. If you choose a sea view room, it will be better. You can see the first ray of sunshine in the world when you get up early, which is worth it.

If you're traveling solo, this accommodation is a good option, reasonably priced, especially considering the limited lodging choices in Tonga. The value for money is decent compared to other places I saw in Tonga, though there's no air conditioning (you do get a fan) and the bathroom is shared. However, upgrading to a place with those amenities would more than double the price. The location isn't great, as it's a 50-minute walk to town, but you can easily get a taxi for about 10 Pa'anga (around 3.5 Euros); they'll call one for you. The staff and cleanliness were good; they were pleasant and willing to help with anything. Overall, my experience was good.
