Stayed 5 nights in the hotel. It’s a standard hotel room size. We booked Mountain View room, can see some part of the water. It’s not too near about city center, will take some time to walk to Salamanca Market. If you have a car instead, it’d be great as there is free car park. It’s a nice hotel with great service. And casino is next to it, can play during your stay.

The hotel's location is excellent. Not only is it the first stop for the SkyBus, but it also offers unbeatable sea views. The market, museum, and park are all within walking distance. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly and thoughtful, and the rooms are cleaned meticulously. The hotel breakfast is delicious, and there are many dining options nearby. In short, everything you need for dining, entertainment, and sightseeing is conveniently accessible. Plus, there's a self-service laundry room on the top floor, which was a lifesaver for our four or five-day stay. Check-out was also a breeze. You do need to bring your own slippers, though. I especially want to commend their room key booklet. Unlike other hotels that just give you a sleeve, theirs is a travel booklet filled with recommendations for great restaurants, tourist attractions, and even includes booking phone numbers and email addresses. They've put so much thought into it! We will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit.
Nice room, very clean and with all the necessary equipment. Very friendly staff too. Parking lot is big, and hotel has a restaurant that serves dinner until 9pm, which is really handy because every other dining establishment closes pretty early.

Centrally located, it's super convenient to get to the pedestrian street and the pier. There's a big supermarket downstairs, and a McDonald's about a 7-minute walk away. The hotel rooms are also quite spacious, and breakfast is a fixed set brunch menu. Overall, I'm satisfied and would recommend it.

We had a great stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hobart. The room was very clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The only disappointment was that we weren’t informed earlier that the pool was under maintenance, which upset the kids. However, the team kindly waived our parking fee, which we really appreciated. Overall, a pleasant experience and excellent service.
The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was very large too. It was all clean. Most guest rooms are in annexes, with reception and dining in the old building (old for Oz, anyway) which boasts a bit of style. Breakfast was quite good but items such as bacon and scrambled eggs did not stay very hot about the buffet. I liked the sourdough. Reception was prompt and professional. Now the minor dislikes: it’s a good 30 minute walk from the CBD / waterfront, up a bit of hill all the way. (There is an area with plenty of bars etc about half way). I walked several times a day and it was OK. Most guests will have cars though. The living area in the room needed a TV. If there can only be one TV per room, it would be better there than in front of the bed in my opinion. Finally, one of the two wardrobes is locked up, presumably to store linen etc. The other only has hanging space so there was no shelving. I felt a little cheated that half of “my” potential wardrobe space was denied to me! On balance, I would consider staying again, even though it is a little way out of town. Overall it is large, clean, comfortable and manages a little style.
Let me start with the conclusion. This place is definitely worth staying for a few more days. The nearby beach is so beautiful when the weather is fine! It is definitely the most special beach I have seen so far, including the east coast of the island. It is super comfortable and relaxing to sit on the rocks and stare blankly!
Facilities: It is the facilities of a motel, but it is clean and tidy with electric blankets. Parking is also very close. There are wild kangaroos nearby. If you stay for a few more days or arrive early, you can go boating. If you have children, there is even a small playground nearby. This room type has a small building for each room, and there is a dedicated parking space. It is said that you can see little penguins nearby, but it was too late and you didn’t go.
Hygiene: The hygiene is still OK, but there is indeed no toothbrush, so you have to bring your own. After 6 pm, the front desk is off work and you need to check in by yourself, but we were given the nearest room and the information guide is still very good.
In addition, if friends are driving here from Hobart/Port Arthur in the future, try to choose highways starting with A or B when choosing the route. This time, Google Maps navigation has a large dirt road in the middle and you can only drive at 40-60 km/h. It is really difficult to drive. There are many bends, no lights, many wild animals, and big potholes on the road. Remember to set off early!
The room is clean, well-equipped, and has a good environment. It is located on the bay and you can watch the sunset at night. The seafood in the restaurant is fresh and tastes good. A 20-yuan meal voucher is also given with the stay, which is great value.
Had a great stay! It's close to the beach and transportation is convenient. The only minor issue was that the location was a bit hard to find. The front desk staff were very friendly.

This is my 2nd time at Ibis. The 1st time was with my husband, and the 2nd time was with my friend, and we love it, as it’s a great location for the shopping area, Salamanca market, wharf, bus and taxi, tour bus, and restaurants. Since we are more outside and about & came back to the hotel at nighttime, we don’t have time to use the amenities, but I already know and have used the amenities before, and they’re awesome! My friend had a short time to check the amenities and she’s happy with it. Maybe next time we can use the amenities. Thank you Ibis Hotel. You had a wonderful concierge, as I forgot to bring my charger and I bought a wrong charger at Coles and I keep on borrowing the charger at the concierge and they are awesome to lend it❤️

KKwokHere’s the translation:
1. A very cute and Modern room, beautifully decorated, exactly like the photos.
2. The hosts are very friendly; it's basically their home, with only two rooms available for guests. If you’re lucky, you might encounter their grandchildren swimming and playing, hearing their laughter.
3. The room's amenities are quite high quality, and the space is ample.
4. Breakfast is provided early in the room, including bread, various types of jams and butter, milk, orange juice, and a variety of cereal options. Tea bags are also available.
5. There’s a free washing machine and laundry powder, but no dryer.
6. The location is within a 20-minute drive from Launceston.
7. If you want a quiet and comfortable space, this is a great choice.

GGuest UserThe bed was terrible. You could see that the mattress had hollows in it where it was worn out by just looking at it. The pilliows were worse. They were no more than 4 inches high but flattened down to no more than 1 inch high, so you felt like you were sleeping with your head below you body. You couldn't fall out of the bed because the hollows kept you safely in the bed. Found supermarket receipts on the floor near the bed, so cleaning of the room was a bit suspect as well. Yes there are positives - the shower pressure was great. The other positive was that we had to leave early the next morning. I could not recommend this motel. Yes it was cheap to stay in, but you get what you pay for.
XXINKAIThe location is good, not far from the port. If you check in on Saturday, turn right for two minutes and you will find the Salamanca market. There is a kitchen in the room. It is convenient to drive to the supermarket. Not new but okay, the elevator is a bit scary and it shakes when stopped. In addition, the parking lot is not large enough. If each room is driven by car, it is estimated that the parking is not enough, but it is free when parking.
JJinlingwutongThe apartment is a single-family house with a sea view, a good environment, quiet and comfortable. The apartment is fully equipped, and there is a supermarket in the town with a wide variety of products, which can definitely satisfy your own cooking. One night is not enough.
