Very well located, the Hyllit Hotel can be found less than 5 minutes away from the Antwerp-Centraal train station. It is located in such a manner that you have a direct access to the historical centre of the city by foot, following a straight line.
The reception was very nice, I was received by very professional people who took the time to explain every commodities available in the hotel, from the mini-bar to the Emerald Lounge, and even how to access the rooftop restaurant and the health centre.
The room I was given was very clean, with different amenities available such as a TV with international channels (French, English, German), a coffee machine, and a phone.
A beautifully presented hotel but the area felt a little dirty. Straight across from the train station with transport galore right outside (tram, metro, bikes, scotters and more!) Chinatown next door and the zoo as well however this area feels unloved and dirty. Walking down towards Meir and onwards to Grote Markt you see the real Antwerp with beautiful ornate buildings, markets and shops. Nighttime is when the whole place feels magical. The hotel room was clean and comfortable in size. Bathroom was lovely and the beds were fairly comfortable but the room was hot. The tv casting didn’t work and we could get any of the uk channels which was disappointing. The gym is ok - not massively well equipped and the pool is so cold. Sauna and steam good although not that hot in either. Recommend as a one night pit stop but wouldn’t want to be there for longer than a couple of days.
Location is outskirt of Antwerpen and needs car for access. Hotel room is clean and room is large. Swimming pool is large (20~25m) and sauna area is very nice. Parking is expensive but there is on-street free parking.
We have booked one night. Location was good. Very nice hotel, clean modern room with nice view. Swimming pool/sauna facilities such as towel etc were good. Parking was free. We will definitely come back.
Tip (minus): sometimes it is useful to have a fan in winter for guests who want to use it. It was just a little too warm in the room even though the air conditioning was set to 18.
Het ontbijt was fantastisch ook kon men a la carte eten (inclusief)
Wij hadden een standaardkamer, waar toch nog wat schoonheidsfoutjes waren, geen dichting aan de kranen van de douche...
maar toch enorm genoten van al dit moois
I was served by a guy at the front desk / reception and he was friendly and willing to help which made the stay pleasant.
Location is about 5-10mins walk to the city centre and there is a convenience store a few minutes away from the hotel.
Clean and spacious room and the toilet - there was air-conditioning which is a plus point especially during the summer season.
I would pick this hotel again when I am back at Mechelen and Brussels in the future.
Location out of the city, so not OK if you want to be in the center (not easy by public transport), If you have a car and you want an easy place to access from the ring, then location is perfect.
Only minus for me was the Wi-Fi. You have to chose between Free and paying Wi-Fi, but the free Wi-Fi was not even enough to reply my e-mails... Feels a bit like false advertising to say Wi-Fi is included.
The parking lot is large and quiet, and there is a restaurant nearby that is very authentic. The bed is large and very comfortable. Next to the farmland, the woods, and the serene rural atmosphere of Europe.

SSandro padillaFantastic hotel, central and easy access... the only one but we could not use the wellness space because it was full booked, they could give priority to the hotel guests, for the rest, all right

AAnonymous UserRegular European Hotel Room Size
Convenient location on the edge of the high speed
In addition to the hotel's own restaurant, you have to go to the town to eat
Very comfortable town, worth a walk
