Hotels With Pools in Canton of Vaud, Switzerland

This has been the most satisfying hotel of my trip to Switzerland so far. Check-in, check-out, and breakfast were all handled at the Royal Plaza Hotel across the street. We arrived early, and the front desk immediately processed our check-in, saving us from waiting until 3 PM. We were given two rooms with excellent locations and orientations, practically the best rooms available, both with air conditioning, and one even had a balcony. I'd like to thank Trip.com for communicating with the hotel on our behalf. Based on our request, the hotel arranged air-conditioned rooms for us, which was a lifesaver as it's been scorching hot in Switzerland these past few days. The hotel itself is quite historic, having once hosted Mr. Charlie Chaplin. Despite its age, it doesn't feel old-fashioned at all. The rooms are clean, tidy, comfortable, and spacious. The Royal Plaza Hotel is a star-rated establishment situated by the lake, offering beautiful scenery. The hotel's pool and gym are available for free use. The only minor drawback was the limited breakfast selection. It was a simple Western breakfast, lacking items like vegetable salad, eggs, and pasta. However, the dried sliced bread and capsule coffee were quite good and stood out. The hotel entrance is right next to a bus stop, making it very convenient to get to the train station in just a few minutes, or about a fifteen-minute walk. To visit Chillon Castle, you also take the bus towards the train station; just hop on bus 201 from the hotel entrance, and it's only a few stops past the train station. Very convenient! I've included photos with bus stop and schedule information for reference. If I ever have the chance to visit Montreux again later in life, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

The hotel can be said to be a classic of luxury hotels in the world. It is very famous. The hotel is located on the beautiful shore of Lake Geneva. The environment is extremely beautiful and the hotel feels like a palace. Every restaurant in the hotel is very popular. It is difficult to book a table in the evening, but the breakfast does not feel cost-effective enough.

As always, the hotel staff is very good, the hotel has a beautiful view and it is worth punching every time. This time I didn't have handmade chocolates to eat, which was a pity. Every time the hotel room handwritten greeting cards, they are very intimate!

Some rooms give directly on the edge of the highly frequented road up to 23h and 05h. In case of high heat, no air conditioning in the rooms.

Great location with a bus stop just a minute’s walk away, which makes getting around very convenient. You can tell the hotel is a bit old, but it’s still well maintained. The staff were very nice and friendly, which made the stay more pleasant. Overall, it’s a good place to stay, especially for the location and service.

Modern hotel. Very friendly reception. The pool/spa is far too small – too many people. Breakfast was good, but better at the Schweizerhof Hotel Bern. Nice park area.

Be sure to choose a lake view room. The view is stunning, the mountain is quiet, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The service was excellent. The breakfast was excellent, with sausage, eggs, toast, smoked salmon, and a variety of hams and cheeses. They also provided milk, yogurt, and a variety of juices. The lake view was beautiful, and there was free parking and a private courtyard.

The hotel is very clean and its services are excellent, including free airport pickup and drop-off. The rooms and facilities are beautiful, and the hotel garden is wonderful. The only downside is the hotel's distance from the center of Geneva, so you should have a car.

This room is spacious, clean and tidy. It is right by the lake. If the weather is good, the snow-capped mountains and lakes opposite are beautiful. It is very close to the Olympic Committee. The shortcomings are: 1. The bathroom and shower are separated by a bedroom, which makes it awkward to go to the bathroom while taking a shower. 2. The floor is too old and needs to be polished and oiled to be decent. In short, the flaws are not enough to overshadow the advantages. I will choose this hotel again.

The hotel is at the thermal center. It is thus far away of every big city especially by public transport as I have to take the infrequent bus. Room I was disappointed for an expensive hotel it was very small. There is no more place in the fridge because of all what they want to sell to drink or eat. The thermal center is good, the food is good and the hotel interior is beautiful. Overall it is overpriced even at the lowest price I think it wasn't worth it and I am a big fan of thermal station. The price fluctuate a lot try to get it on the cheap.
