GGuest UserThe room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was clean, meeting 5-star hotel standards. The Chinese and Western breakfast selection was very rich, and my whole family was very satisfied. The hotel's front desk service was quick, and they even offered an extra breakfast for our family of three, which was a thoughtful touch. It's within walking distance of Guiyang Railway Station. Since we were traveling to surrounding cities, we stayed at the Pullman three times during the Chinese New Year holiday. It's definitely our top choice for hotels when visiting Guiyang.

GgroteThe guesthouse is situated within a canyon, offering expansive views. To the left is the Baling River Bridge spanning the canyon, and to the right is the Dishuitan Waterfall.
Choosing the cabin-style room provided an even wider view; you could see the canyon scenery right from the bed, a touch of rustic luxury. Brewing a pot of tea and sitting on the terrace was incredibly relaxing.
Breakfast was a set menu, ensuring a satisfying meal. Dinner was a sour soup beef hot pot; the sour soup was authentic and the portions were generous, although the beef was a bit tough.
The guesthouse has clearly put thought into its facilities. The best spot is occupied by the swimming pool, which is both practical and photogenic. A complimentary tea-making service around a hearth is provided, and the service is quite thoughtful.
The manager and several staff members I encountered were all locals, and their friendly and welcoming attitude was very touching. They were knowledgeable about local tourist attractions and, importantly, had a high level of brand awareness, sharing the guesthouse's philosophy during conversation.

1. Excellent Location
The hotel is located within the National Customs Park at No. 5 Wuling Avenue, Bijiang District, just 1.3 kilometers from Tongren Railway Station, offering convenient transportation. The surroundings are beautiful, offering both the stunning scenery of the Jinjiang River and the cultural atmosphere of the National Customs Park, making for a pleasant evening stroll.
2. Comfortable Room Experience
We booked a Deluxe River View Room, and the front desk representative, Xiao Peng, upgraded us to an Executive River View Room. This spacious 90-square-meter room features floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Jinjiang River, offering unobstructed views of both the mountains and the river. The room is fully equipped with a bathtub, refrigerator, and smart curtains. The mattress has the perfect firmness for an excellent sleep. The hotel also offers exceptional attention to detail, including welcome fruit. 3. Attentive Service
The front desk service was particularly commendable. Check-in was very efficient. Xiao Peng, the staff member, was not only warm and attentive, but also proactively upgraded our room, gave us welcome fruit, and provided free luggage storage.
4. Extensive Dining Options
The hotel offers two restaurants: Fu Restaurant (buffet) and Bijingxuan (a la carte Chinese cuisine). The breakfast menu is extensive, with both Western bread and coffee and local rice noodles, all very delicious.
5. Complete Amenities
- Indoor heated swimming pool: Clean, uncrowded, and perfect for relaxing.
6. Tips
The hotel is near the railway station, and the occasional train whistle can be heard, which may be disturbing for light sleepers, but overall the impact is minimal.
There are no supermarkets or restaurants nearby, so takeout is the only option.

I'm a BJYX fan from Indonesia and I came to Duyun to visit BJYX related spots, and this hotel is of course one of them! Booked another hotel first, since I didn't know that the infamous make up room and telephone box is in this hotel. Tried to look for those places in Qin Han (lacked information, my bad), but then realized they're not there, and then after looking for some more information on Weibo, I decided to change the hotel for the last day to Maojian, and I'm glad I did that!
Maojian is in front of QinHan Film City, so you can just walk there. Best hotel if you want to visit the film city.
The receptionists don't speak English, we were communicating by Google Translate. They let me check in at around 12:30 even though the actual check in time is from 14:00. They also upgraded my room. Very happy! And since I read from the reviews on this platform, that you can take a look inside the room where our WangXian got interviewed, I tried to ask the receptionist about it and then she called people to guide me there. The guide lady is also super nice, that she even offered me to change the room to that room. It's already booked by other people though, unfortunately. But, it's okay! I roamed around the hotel after that, visiting the telephone box, jogging track, and make up room of course is a MUST! Thank you so much for keeping these spots for us, CQL and BJYX fans! Please always keep it like that! Will visit again someday!

GGuest UserEverything felt perfect. The hotel environment was excellent, with expansive views and a great sense of space, offering peace and tranquility. The room was also very good, with top-notch heating – it was delightful to cozy up on the sofa and gaze at the distant village buildings! I absolutely must commend the hotel staff's service; they were very attentive and considerate. Pick-ups and drop-offs were punctual, their advice was spot-on, and they were both thoughtful and discreet. The unlimited freshly ground coffee and drinks, comfortable afternoon tea, and the lingering melodies of the Dong village songs all contributed to a wonderful experience.

RRongyangjituanClose enough to see Jiaxiu Tower, and distant views of the 'White House'! Choosing Sofitel for our Chinese New Year trip truly exceeded expectations, and the whole family was very happy. First, the attentive and thoughtful service from all staff during the holiday made us feel incredibly welcome. Second, the dinner privilege at the executive lounge was upgraded to a buffet, which was excellent value for money and solved the dining dilemma for our large family. Lastly, the hotel's location is genuinely superb. We were able to walk with our child to visit Jiaxiu Tower, Wenchang Pavilion, Minsheng Road, and Qingyun Market. It's truly a hidden gem of a hotel.
The only downsides were that the room windows couldn't be opened for fresh air, and the room got very hot in the afternoon sun. Since it's this time of year, the central air conditioning's cooling function couldn't be used continuously, which wasn't ideal for a child. Also, the room's Wi-Fi was not great; the internet speed was very slow, often preventing the TV's screen mirroring from connecting. Overall, though, it's still highly recommended!

LLIBDAWe were pleasantly surprised and very satisfied with the guesthouse we booked on Ctrip. The environment was wonderful; opening the door and standing on the balcony offered a picturesque view of Wanfenglin. The entire guesthouse was very clean and tidy, with an artistic atmosphere. At 125 yuan, it was totally worth it! I've recommended it to my friends. The bathroom even had a beautiful bathtub, and the owners also had a rabbit and a dog—a super loving young couple!

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere. The hardware and decor are also good, and the room even had a sewing kit, which is a nice detail not found in other hotels.
However, there's still a gap in service compared to some well-established five-star hotels. The front desk in the lobby was good, and my check-in experience was fine. But the breakfast restaurant was a different story. Other places might be crowded too, but they're not this chaotic. If it's too busy, they could limit access. I searched everywhere for a seat and finally asked a staff member if she could help me find one. She gave me an impatient, cold look, tersely said, 'Everyone's busy right now,' and just walked away. I then found a male staff member who at least offered a solution, suggesting I ask if the empty seats were available. Honestly, your restaurant has five-star hardware but three-star service quality. They really need some training.
On a positive note, the breakfast restaurant had glutinous rice balls, which were quite unique. But you had to queue for them. I'd suggest considering preparing them in advance in the future.

GGuest UserOur stay during this Guizhou trip was absolutely wonderful! The guesthouse's setting was incredible, nestled amidst lush greenery, offering a peaceful and private atmosphere. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The most delightful surprise was encountering adorable cats and dogs. Both the swimming pool and hot tub had crystal-clear water and excellent designs, making them perfect for a relaxing dip and some fun. The service from the front desk staff was absolutely outstanding. They were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to assist with any request, and any issues were addressed promptly and efficiently. We truly felt a warm sense of belonging, just like being at home. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserComfortable stay with super warm hospitality. Easy comms via groupchat on wechat. Upon checking in, introduced us to the facilities and we were pleasantly surprised that they had even prepared a bedrail for our room without our request. My daughter had fun using the smart room control xiaodu xiaodu and enjoyed the play area. The extra touches of 2cups of specialty coffee, 10pcs laundry, bath salts, welcome fruits and bottled drinks were delightful. There was vip car transfer to/fro the waterfall ticketing entrance which was very helpful, and we waited less than 5mins each time. They tried to accommodate to our request for early check-in and late checkout. As we planned to be the first batch to enter the grand waterfall, they kindly helped to pack sandwich+fruits breakfast for us to bring to the waterfall, and always checked if we needed more bottled water etc. Excellent service from the wechat butler, reception and hotel staff. Photography service was cancelled as photographer was away on course. Our only regret was not having enough time to explore the facilities. Careful to type the correct hotel name when booking didi to the hotel as there is another hotel under the same chain called朵贝云hotel much further away.
